MMORPG: Rise of the Primordial Godsmith

Chapter 851  Four Pillars: Deeper Comprehensions

Of course, even though Valyr knew that he could focus his attention on upgrading his Intent Seed of the Four Elements, the young man still went over the understanding that finally allowed his Intent Seed of Shadow Energy to take that final step.

Throughout the four stages that brought the young man up to this point, the young man watched as his understanding of Shadow Energy gradually expanded to encompass the scope of mana, even going so far as to comprehend the relationship between the two energies.

With how he had now gotten his hands on Azure Energy, Valyr felt like the Gates of Enlightenment and Awakening had been subconsciously steering him towards this direction all this time.

Realizing this, the young man faintly shuddered in fear, only to eventually let out a long exhale as he had no qualms choosing the path whatsoever.

After all, compared to his original route of reaching the peak of what a Shadow Serpent Lancer was capable of, his current path had far greater potential than what the previous one had.

With that being said, the tidbit of understanding that finally pushed Valyrʼs Intent Seed of Shadow Energy to become a proper Intent unsurprisingly had something to do with the interaction between Shadow Energy and mana.

However, unlike the understanding that brought the Intent Seed to the Culmination Stage that spoke about how the two could become one and how one could become the other, this new piece of understanding made Valyr perceive Shadow Energy in a different way.

More specifically, it made Valyr look at Shadow Energy as if it were mana itself.

As this understanding came to mind, the young man felt like it made sense. After all, similar to mana, Shadow Energy was the staple energy used by all beings within the Shadow Plane.

And although its properties prompted it to lean more towards offensive skills, Selliferʼs memories showed that it was just as capable as mana when it came to the other types of skills.

In any case, the focus of the understanding that upgraded the Intent Seed to an Intent was how Shadow Energy could exhibit the limitless malleability that mana had in terms of skills and the like.

With this understanding in mind, the young man briefly thought about how his Intent Seed of the Four Elements focused on that area in greater detail, showing the limitless capabilities mana had to meld and conform with other elements.

ʼThen again, the creation of Azure Energy is only possible thanks to that property mana has,ʼ thought the young man to himself, getting the urge to delve deeper into the understanding he had just comprehended.

From what he felt, it wouldnʼt take long for the Intent of Shadow Energy to undergo another upgrade if he were to spend a bit more into it.

However, the young man decided to push such thoughts to the side for the meantime, reminding himself that Azure Energy necessitated a balance of both Shadow Energy and mana one way or another. With that, Valyr decided to bring his Intent Seed of the Four Elements to the same stage his new Intent was currently at before deciding to return his attention back on the Intent of Shadow Energy.

ʼHopefully, Sellifer allows me to take as much time as I need to upgrade my comprehended concepts as much as I want,ʼ inwardly wished the young man, taking in a deep breath before putting all of his attention towards comprehension once more.

As his Intent Seed of the Four Elements revolved along a similar concept to the pure concept of mana Sellifer had comprehended to get to where she was, it went without saying that Valyr continued to make progress in upgrading his comprehended concepts.

Though, with how his Intent Seed focused more on the interaction between mana and the four elements and not just pure mana, his speed in doing so was considerably slower than when he was trying to upgrade his Intent Seed of Shadow Energy.

Nevertheless, the young man continued to persevere, gradually accumulating enough purified comprehension from Sellifer to push his Intent Seed of the Four Elements to what was the final step.

Ding!

[Your understanding of mana and its interaction with the four elements has deepened, allowing it to reach a culmination point. The world has taken notice of this, allowing you to borrow another portion of its nigh-infinite power.]

[Your Intent Seed of the Four Elements has ascended to the Culmination Stage.]

ʼThat took way longer than I thought.ʼ Bringing up his notification screen after hearing the ever-familiar chime echo in his mind, Valyr let out a sigh of relief as he focused his attention on his newly upgraded Intent Seed.

Looking at the understanding he had comprehended that brought his Intent Seed to the final stage, the young man noticed that it wasnʼt any different from the other pieces he had comprehended before during the two or so years he spent with Sellifer.

Though, unlike those comprehended ideas, the idea he comprehended to bring it up to the Culmination Stage was a bit more complex as it focused more on the interaction between the elements to achieve a greater result.

Taking note of this, Valyr felt as if it was only a matter of time until it became a proper Intent as well, deciding to ask Sellifer after that how much time had passed since the Concept Impartation began.

Hearing from the womanʼs mouth that a bit over a month had already passed since then, the young manʼs eyes briefly widened in disbelief before eventually returning his focus to the task at hand.

Closing his eyes to make sure that every iota of his attention and focus was on pushing his Intent Seed of the Four Elements to an actual Intent, it took Valyr quite some time to finally achieve his intended goal.

Taking a total of just a bit over three months to push both Intent Seeds that made the Azure Sign possible in the first place into fully-fledged Intents, the young man had a smile on his face as he subconsciously felt the stronger connection he had with the world.

However, rather than just upgrade his second Intent Seed to the Intent level, Valyr had actually gained something extra from his time understanding the purified comprehensions Sellifer had given him access to.

As to what that extra thing was…

Surprisingly enough, it was another Intent Seed.
