Reborn and Counterattack: The CEO's Powerful Sweetheart

Chapter 1150: Chapter 1149: Good at Twisting Logic

”Is the order of arrival really that important? If there were a fire, would everyone rushing in to put it out have to follow the order of arrival too?”

Gu Tong’s words hit the floor, leaving all the teachers in the director’s office dumbfounded. Clearly, no one expected Gu Tong to have such a fiery temper, showing no regard for Ding Sidan’s face at all.

It’s no wonder Ding Sidan made a scene in the director’s office — she must have suffered a loss!

Gu Tong continued:

”So what if you were here first? Standing silently in the director’s office, how would anyone know you were here for business? I thought you were just here for a tour!”

Ding Sidan’s face turned pale with anger, and she retorted, ”Teacher Gu! Saying that is completely unreasonable! I clearly entered the director’s office first, and I was the first to talk to the director! First come, first served, right?”

Oh, she’s quite good at arguing.

Gu Tong’s corners of her mouth turned up as she chuckled, saying, ”Even if you were here first, I didn’t see you speak when I entered. No one was talking. Is that what you call discussing business?”

Gu Tong was merely arguing for the sake of arguing, initially just wanting to casually chat with Director Hao Changxing, clearly trying to change the subject to avoid escalating the situation.

However, Ding Sidan was never one to give up easily, so how could she relent now?

She was determined to get an apology from Gu Tong today; otherwise, this matter wouldn’t be over.

Ding Sidan’s plan was loud and clear, but little did she know, Gu Tong wouldn’t give her an inch of respect.

Gu Tong raised an eyebrow and said, ”Just because you’re here first means you have matters? And those who came later are in the wrong? According to Teacher Ding’s logic, then you might as well wait a bit more; there are so many people in this room who all arrived before you.”

Come on, the director’s office is never short of people; all the professors are working here.

If you’re using the order of arrival to make a case, it’s definitely not Gu Tong who’d be at a disadvantage.

As the words landed, the directors in the room all forcibly held back their laughter, fearing they’d burst out laughing.

Ding Sidan’s face grew even darker, and she said, ”Other teachers are working, I’m here for business! Can it be the same?”

Those professors stay in this office all day, whether they have something to do or not; there’s no reason they can’t find Director Hao.

Continuing in anger, Ding Sidan said, ”As for Teacher Gu, pretending not to know, being unreasonable! Clearly knowing I’m here to see Director Hao, yet not waiting, instead causing a fuss with me! Is it that Teacher Gu can’t stand me and targets me at every turn?”

Who really started causing trouble here...

Causing a scene like this is absolutely outrageous.

The directors inside exchanged looks, never expecting Ding Sidan to stir up such trouble...

Gu Tong pressed a finger to her lips, pausing, and said, ”Oh, according to Teacher Ding’s reasoning, I might also think you’re looking for someone else, not Director Hao, so I spoke with Director Hao first. See, if you think negatively, both your mind and your person follow suit!”

On the surface, Gu Tong seemed to be talking about herself, almost apologetic.

But in reality, she was subtly mocking Ding Sidan for being narrow-minded, that she could twist someone else’s intentions so much.

But honestly, that’s just the truth.

Simply because she was dissatisfied, Ding Sidan was blowing things out of proportion, and her words were quite excessive.

Even the teachers in the room could barely stand it, let alone Gu Tong, who naturally had a bad temper.

It was because of this that when Gu Tong retorted, they actually felt it was quite satisfying.

Ding Sidan surely didn’t think so. With so many people watching, being completely disrespected by Gu Tong, even arguing outright, her face was utterly disgraced.

”Who do you say is narrow-minded! How am I narrow-minded! Who’s narrow-minded!” Ding Sidan was utterly displeased, and all her anger burst out as she said, ”You all saw that, right! This new teacher is just too much! She’s bullying me like this!”
