Chapter 1131: Chapter 1130: The Physical Education Teacher Truly Has It Tough

Not long ago, the buzz about the three special courses turning into physical training sessions had spread far and wide.

Many students were exhausted and full of complaints; some couldn’t bear it and quit after a few classes, even complained to their own teachers for quite some time.

Among the teachers in the department office, two were the primary course instructors for those students. At the time, they found it odd; after all, this is the National Medical College, not a sports college. Such a teaching method was unheard of for them, so they could only comfort their students, saying that perhaps these three courses were different from others.

At this moment, they were all looking at Gu Tong, although they couldn’t directly ask the reason, their faces were full of confusion, appearing to want to hear something from Gu Tong.

Gu Tong thought for a moment and said, ”The sports teachers must have had a hard time.” Gu Tong felt she should treat the sports teacher to a meal; while teaching their own classes, they also had to substitute for her, which was incredibly tough.

Director Hao: ”...”

All the teachers: ”...”

The sports teacher crying in the bathroom: ”...” Nowadays, it’s tough being a sports teacher, having to substitute for teachers from other disciplines; is there no justice?

Director Hao coughed twice and said, ”If you could teach your classes normally in the future, I think the sports teacher would be happier.”

Director Hao couldn’t help but recall the sports teacher’s complaints from a few days ago.

Other sports teachers around the academy are the most relaxed. Look at our National Medical College’s sports teacher; after finishing their sports classes, they have to substitute for other teachers. The number of times they substitute in a week even surpasses the sports courses; it’s really tough for the sports teacher, alright.

Teaching well...

This seems to be a problem.

Gu Tong thought for a moment, pursed her lips and said, ”Uh... I’ll try my best...”

If there were no tasks or special events, she would definitely teach properly and train these future talents of the nation. But when time does not permit it, even if she wants to come, she probably couldn’t.

Hearing this, Director Hao was on the verge of tears...

It seemed like she wanted to continue ’skipping classes.’ As a teacher, couldn’t she set an exemplary role?

However, Dean Huang Zhizhong had previously reiterated many times about Gu Tong’s special identity—as an extraordinary talent, invited with great effort by the National Medical College.

Moreover, Dean Huang Zhizhong mentioned that nowadays, there are very few teachers who can teach these three courses well, only Gu Tong is among the outstanding talents, so she absolutely shouldn’t be offended or overly criticized, and should be regarded as the most valuable talent.

Going on and on, Director Hao was already getting a headache, but he could also see that even Dean Huang Zhizhong found Gu Tong’s issue very tricky, so much so that he simply passed it back to Director Hao to handle, and stepped away from the matter.

Director Hao was almost in tears back then and resignedly started coaxing the talent, saying, ”Try not to skip classes, okay...”

Uh...

Director Hao’s face was already green, looking quite intimidating...

Student Gu Xiaotong swallowed and said, ”Ahem, don’t worry, Director, I’ll try, really try my best...”

She also had no choice; sometimes tasks came so suddenly that before she could react, she was already in the middle of it, leaving the school no way to attend to her duties.

Student Gu Xiaotong felt a wave of grievance.

”That’s good,” Director Hao said resignedly, ”By the way, the school has assigned an assistant teacher to you, who used to be an intern at the First Royal Medical College; you might know each other.”

Actually, if they were in the same year, the students would definitely know each other.

However, Director Hao considered that Gu Tong wasn’t even diligent as a teacher, let alone as a student, so he spoke ambiguously without conclusive language.
