Reborn and Counterattack: The CEO's Powerful Sweetheart

Chapter 1129: Chapter 1128: Were You Just Seeing the Madam Off?

The assistant class leader decided to ’preserve himself,’ and simply gave up on talking with his Duke.

He coughed once and said, ”So, shall we go back to the Academy?”

Li Yan responded casually, ”No rush!”

The assistant class leader: ”???” Why no rush...

The Academy’s combat meetings are always held on time, and as the person in charge of two tasks, Devil King must attend for guidance.

You know...

Just because of this, Qiao Chenyi had called many times to remind, and repeatedly stressed, to avoid Devil King being late, the assistant class leader came early to pick him up.

But then...

Just at this moment, Devil King actually said no rush.

Clearly everyone is in a hurry, a lot of people are waiting for him!

The assistant class leader wanted to cry but had no tears, not knowing what mood his Duke was in, he was just about to speak to persuade him.

But then heard Li Yan’s calm voice saying, ”Let’s go!”

Let’s go???

Wasn’t it no rush just now...

The assistant class leader was instinctively confused, almost driven to a nervous breakdown by Devil King’s fickle thoughts.

Li Yan turned back, clearly noticing the assistant class leader’s surprise, and explained, ”Gu Tong walked away!”

The assistant class leader: ”...” So, you were just seeing off your wife...

So sweet! It’s almost overwhelmingly affectionate.

The assistant class leader didn’t react.

Li Yan raised an eyebrow and said, ”What’s wrong?”

Even though the assistant class leader was already stuffed full of public displays of affection, he dared not have any dissenting opinion, instead, he burped and said, ”No, nothing...”

After that, he stepped on the gas, the car started, heading straight to the Academy.

...

Meanwhile, on the other side, this period is undoubtedly class time for all students at the National Medical College.

Gu Tong followed the path into the inner gate of the Academy.

There weren’t many students on the playground, just a few physical education classes scattered here and there.

Gu Tong bypassed the playground and went straight to the classroom where she taught, she suddenly found that another teacher was giving a lecture in the multi-functional classroom. There was also a notice on the door, ’Class Time Postponed,’ probably due to her absence from teaching for quite a few days!

Previously, when Gu Tong requested leave, the Academy always handled it directly, so taking leave was very smooth. The school was very cooperative, despite having missed classes for quite a while, no one complained.

Of course...

Even if someone did complain, Gu Tong wouldn’t hear it!

After all, she wasn’t at the Academy during this time.

Thinking of this, Gu Tong shrugged and headed to the director’s office.

For resuming the course process, it’s still necessary to communicate arrangements with the director. Although she doesn’t really want to teach, she has already come, so she should report in.

...

The director’s office on the third floor was open.

The director, deputy director, and teachers of all subjects were busy inside.

Gu Tong knocked on the door and said, ”Report!”

Director Hao, being closest to the door, pulled it open a bit and frowned slightly, ”What do you need?”

A few days ago, when Gu Tong reported in, Director Hao was away on a business trip, and after returning, he has only heard of her name but never met her, so he didn’t recognize Gu Tong.

Now, seeing how young Gu Tong looks, like a little girl, he mistook her for a student of the National Medical College.

Gu Tong coughed and said, ”I’m the teacher for the three elective courses, I was on leave before, now applying to resume courses.”

This teacher doesn’t seem very responsible...

Leading by example in skipping classes, and skipping for a long time.

Director Hao’s eyeballs almost fell out, shocked, he said, ”You’re the teacher for the three courses, Gu Tong... you’re so young...”

Not quite what he had imagined.

Director Hao initially thought that any teacher responsible for three courses would at least be an experienced, relatively older mature instructor, not so young.
