Reborn and Counterattack: The CEO's Powerful Sweetheart

Chapter 838: Chapter 837: Let’s Check Out the Candidate Royal Doctors

After completing the handover, they left Old Sheng’s office.

Yan Lishan felt a bit lightheaded, his whole being somewhat stunned.

He thought about Old Sheng in the office, and it all seemed like a dream, extraordinarily unreal.

He couldn’t help but glance again at Gu Tong beside him, wondering just how remarkable a Royal Doctor she must be to receive such preferential treatment from Old Sheng...

”So... what are you going to do next?”

Upon hearing the question, Gu Tong paused for a moment, thought it over, and said, ”I’ll have a look at the alternative Royal Doctors!”

Earlier during the office handover, Old Sheng had granted her the utmost authority, which included the right for Gu Tong to choose Royal Doctors.

The Royal Doctors at the Shoucheng Academy Royal Doctor Station could be freely selected, not to mention being appointed as deputies at will. Such authority was an unmatched privilege, further reflecting Old Sheng’s support for Gu Tong.

”You’re really going to choose...”

Yan Lishan had come to guide Gu Tong, but regarding the current situation unfolding, he remained in a state of wonderment. By conventional norms, personnel should be assigned by superiors, not self-chosen. Such a choice format, if mishandled, could easily offend others.

”Why not choose?”

Gu Tong, young and fearless, always had this kind of temperament.

Moreover, she believed that selecting the right doctors would be beneficial for battle, with no issue at all.

After all, they were going to cooperate next, and if they met teammates who were not suitable, they could face danger at any time.

Given this, it’s better to choose, to have stronger combat power.

Being a Royal Doctor was truly a peculiar profession, with each having such unique personalities.

Seeing he couldn’t dissuade her, Yan Lishan simply kept quiet, allowing Gu Tong to make her own decisions, and said, ”So how do you plan to choose?”

Gu Tong didn’t hesitate and replied directly, ”I’ll just shout out, those willing to be battlefield doctors and participate in the battle, go sign up with Old Sheng.”

Yan Lishan: ”...”

Ma’am, you are really straightforward and blunt...

This way of choosing people seems a bit too hasty...

However, what did he know? Gu Tong’s way of selecting people was actually the most sensible.

Volunteering is far better than organizational assignment, especially when heading to the battlefield.

Never mind the medical skills, the most crucial thing is their strong enthusiasm and determination for battle, having anticipatory defenses for battlefield situations, which ordinary Royal Doctors can’t compare to.

Moreover, it was Gu Tong’s first time at the Shoucheng Academy Royal Doctor Station, and she hadn’t fully grasped the doctors’ abilities here. In such a situation, choosing would indeed be uncertain.

”I might as well write a notice and post it on the bulletin board...”

Yan Lishan grumbled, hoping Gu Tong would quickly abandon this unreliable idea.

Gu Tong’s bright eyes blinked twice, and with her slender fingers, she snapped them, saying, ”Great idea!” This is much easier than shouting.

Yan Lishan: ”...” Seriously, this works too...

”Didn’t anticipate you’d have such an agile mind, haha, we’ll write a notice, post it on the bulletin board, task done!” Gu Tong stretched leisurely, and complimented Yan Lishan. What was a troublesome task turned into the simplest solution, thanks to him.

Yan Lishan watched as Gu Tong looked all around for paper and pen, almost about to cough up blood...

At this moment, he wished he could slap himself. Following such an unreliable leader, and still daring to come up with ideas, that one accidentally got adopted...
