Reborn and Counterattack: The CEO's Powerful Sweetheart

Chapter 804: Chapter 803: Switching to Physical Education

The diverse elective course students made Gu Tong’s head ache slightly. She rubbed her temples and said, ”Now, all students are divided into two groups. Those who are familiar with operating scalpels and have completed surgical procedures, go run laps, twenty laps! Those who haven’t been exposed to surgical processes, stay in the classroom.”

With a casual remark, all the students in the enormous classroom were dumbfounded...

They never dreamed that the first time they stepped into the class, their first lesson would be a physical education class...

Moreover, it involved running twenty laps around the field, a task that no teacher had ever assigned.

Now they’re all somewhat doubtful that the teacher might be deliberately giving them a hard time.

”Why do we have to go run laps...” A timid male student hesitantly asked, ”I’m not good with physical endurance... I can’t complete twenty laps...”

Don’t assume that just because medical students are doctors, they have good physical fitness.

In reality, their physical condition isn’t as good as imagined. It’s known that when first studying medicine, the primary exposure is to theoretical knowledge; hence, they’re buried in tedious reading daily. With heavy academic pressure, they hardly have time for physical exercise.

Even now, as they gradually start to encounter practical courses, the academic workload remains heavy with various subjects. Occasionally taking time to walk a lap around the field is considered exercise...

However, right now.

The teaching instructor suddenly changed the approach, asking them to run laps. At this moment, besides bewilderment and terror, they probably have no other emotions.

”How much do you know about this elective course?”

Gu Tong’s voice floated out, everyone was slightly taken aback.

The doctor is inherently knowledgeable. Even if unclear, they have some understanding...

”When I was studying, I saw the academic course on maxillofacial surgery, which seems to address facial reconstruction in medicine.”

Facial reconstruction, which later evolved into cosmetic surgery.

”Well said.” Gu Tong’s lips curled into a slight smile and said, ”Emergency response for craniofacial trauma, correction of congenital deformities, resection and reconstruction of craniofacial bone tumors, and cosmetic remodeling of facial contours, all are part of the knowledge included in this discipline.”

”However, this elective course includes two other courses. So, for maxillofacial surgery, we only focus on the emergency response for craniofacial trauma as the core subject, concerning battlefield trauma and field surgery. No need to elaborate further. It’s directed at battlefield casualties, essential for emergency response, a skill one must learn and master—what’s known as Royal Doctor education!”

As specialized Royal Doctors, mastering these skills is equivalent to basic competence, and it’s a fundamental process.

”Shouldn’t we focus on mastering emergency skills first? Why go running?”

Hao Jiale raised the doubt, clearly showing discontent with the decision.

They are doctors, mastering medical techniques is their priority; everything else is supplementary and not worth concerning about.

”I’ve already mentioned, these three courses comprise the skills Royal Doctors must learn in battlefield conditions. On the battlefield, having good medical skills isn’t foremost; surviving is the primary duty of a Royal Doctor!”

”When war commences, everyone is fully engaged in fighting and killing the enemy. No one will spare a hand to take care of you, so ensuring your own safety is the skill you must now master!”
