Reborn and Counterattack: The CEO's Powerful Sweetheart

Chapter 527: 527: Contagious Diffuse Disease

Gu Tong is the Royal Doctor at the Medical Center, so she is expected to help analyze the data.

This is also part of her responsibilities and something she cannot refuse.

However, she did not expect that Elder Xue sought her expertise to analyze the illness.

”A contagious disease? The flu?”

Gu Tong furrowed her brows slightly.

In her impression, there were no flu outbreaks during this period.

Even if there were infectious diseases, it would be many years later.

”It’s a case of severe acute respiratory syndrome! Highly contagious, difficult to prevent, and fatalities have already occurred.”

Xue Zhengping tapped the documents on the table twice, indirectly hinting for Gu Tong to take a look.

Gu Tong understood Xue Zhengping’s implication.

She immediately stood up.

With a few steps, she walked to the table and picked up a thick stack of documents.

The data in her hands can be said to be comprehensive.

It contains extensive information.

The disease progression, test results, cell analysis, patient symptoms, and case studies are all included.

Gu Tong is also an experienced doctor.

Thus, she has a unique and convenient way of viewing such data.

She pulled out a few pages, tossing the remaining documents back onto the table.

Focused on breaking through the key content!

She skimmed swiftly, yet carefully.

Missing no critical information —

However...

”SARS!”

The disease’s name burst out involuntarily!

”What does that mean?”

Elder Xue was slightly taken aback.

Clearly, he did not understand the meaning behind Gu Tong’s words.

Gu Tong realized she had misspoken, so she quickly waved her hand and said, ”It’s nothing...”

Gu Tong provided a brief explanation.

And did not speak further.

Instead, she continued to flip through the documents, unwilling to let go for a moment!

SARS, an acute respiratory syndrome that had seriously spread in a previous life!

And spread globally!

It was not until the mid-stage that the pandemic gradually diminished.

However, this incident alone!

Was enough to shock the global medical community.

In fact, anyone who lived through that period.

Would know that an infectious disease once erupted!

Gu Tong remembered that back then, she was a doctor at the Royal Hospital.

Thus, she could clearly recall the number of isolated patients in the Royal Hospital was countless...

However, the SARS outbreak back then happened after the year 2000.

About nine years from now...

Yet, inexplicably, the event broke out early...

In truth, after Gu Tong’s rebirth, numerous butterfly effects occurred.

However, every incident changed only after Gu Tong’s involvement.

SARS! A viral infectious disease.

How could she alter its outbreak timing...

”Have you encountered this disease before?” Xue Zhengping asked tentatively.

After all, Gu Tong’s reaction was too unusual, inevitably raising suspicions.

Gu Tong finally put down the documents and said, ”I just feel that this disease spreads easily and will eventually reach the Academy, so we must prepare in advance...”

What she said was absolutely correct.

In fact, it coincided with Xue Zhengping’s thoughts.

It should be noted that the current spread speed of the disease is already frighteningly fast.

If timely prevention is not done...

At that time, the consequences would undoubtedly be unimaginable...

”Do you have any solutions?”

Xue Zhengping questioned.

After all, having looked through the documents for so long, Gu Tong must have some ideas.

”No solutions for now... All we can do is use traditional methods for disinfection... Also, since this disease easily causes fever, I recommend distributing banlangen granules to the trainees for early prevention.”
