Reborn and Counterattack: The CEO's Powerful Sweetheart

Chapter 201: 201: Foreign aid? Helper?

However, this situation is extremely unfavorable for the special forces trainees of Warhawk Class 1, and it will also affect the smooth progress of the mine-clearing plan!

’Squeak――――’

The jeep lurched forward, with the entire vehicle swaying.

Gu Tong grabbed the car’s handle but still almost bounced up. Leaning on the car seat, she felt the vibrations on her back.

She quickly looked out the window and found that this was an extremely uneven mountain road, covered with stones. She frowned slightly, puzzled as to why they would choose such a route.

Sharp stones have a huge impact on tires, and with the slightest carelessness, the vehicle could have a blowout, putting the entire team in danger.

’Squeak――――’

Another sound!

This time the vehicle stopped.

Several officers stepped out from a few jeeps, their expressions serious, heading towards the first vehicle in line.

It was obvious they were going to discuss the battle plan with Earl!

”Did you feel it... this mission is very severe...”

Li Yunping, who hadn’t spoken until now, said with some fear, his eyes fixed on the changes outside, afraid of missing any signs.

Severe! It’s inevitable!

Gu Tong sneered and said, ”Weapons dealers are not to be trifled with! They can manufacture explosives, and where they are based will have a frightening amount of explosives. If they’re cornered, and with a do-or-die mentality, they could detonate all the explosives! We’d all be doomed!”

Li Yunping shrank his neck and felt even more scared, saying, ”But we have a large group, over a hundred special forces trainees. Are we still afraid of those weapons dealers?”

He thought it was simple: trainees would charge forward, and the Royal Doctor would be responsible for treating the wounded, so he didn’t understand that the battlefield is a killing field.

”The number of weapons dealers may not be fewer than ours!”

Gu Tong lifted the curtain again, but this time not to enjoy the scenery outside, but to observe positions and terrain.

The mountainous terrain is rugged and winding, with steep peaks, making it very dangerous to break through. The trainees are unfamiliar with the geography and cannot compare with these local ’kingpins’, which is their inherent disadvantage.

”But didn’t the survey say there are only thirty weapons dealers...” Li Yunping was slightly taken aback, clearly not believing Gu Tong’s words, because that was an organizational survey believed to be error-free.

Believe in that piece of paper? Don’t be ridiculous!

The weapons dealer survey released by the Academy’s upper management was merely to inform the trainees of their appearance traits, but if they were to rely on that paper to determine numbers, they’d be doomed several times over!

Gu Tong put down the curtain, slowly lowered her gaze, and said calmly, ”The main weapons dealers have only thirty people! But that doesn’t mean they don’t have reinforcements and help!”

”Reinforcements? Help...” Li Yunping and Xie Yongfei were both startled, clearly not expecting Gu Tong to say such things.

But in this remote mountain wilderness, where would they get reinforcements and help...

They wanted to ask more, but Gu Tong had already closed her eyes and seemed deep in thought, so all their questions were swallowed, and none dared to disturb her in the slightest.

Their eyes were glued to Gu Tong, seeing only her eyes, yet they felt she was even more unfathomable...

This mission was perilous, and they were inexperienced, relying entirely on this experienced Royal Doctor to guide them.

Thinking this, they became more resolute in their belief.

However, at this time, they did not know how correct Gu Tong’s analysis of the enemy was, which would save them in the near future. But that’s a story for later.
