Reborn and Counterattack: The CEO's Powerful Sweetheart

Chapter 154: 154: Heart failure is no small matter

If it were an ordinary patient, there’s no need for cardiac resuscitation, but this patient is different; his heart is weakened to such an extent that it must be forcibly assisted to hasten its rhythm to ensure his life safety.

Cardiac resuscitation has its own techniques and procedures, initially classified into ten major steps. However, Gu Tong had already memorized these steps by heart, so she proceeded directly with the operation, simplifying many steps in the process.

The basic procedure is simple. Gu Tong pressed the corresponding sensory area on the patient and ensured there was no obstruction in his mouth and nose, saying, ”He needs artificial respiration now, you do it!”

”I...” The blonde, blue-eyed beauty widened her eyes. First, she had to feed him medication with her mouth, and now artificial respiration? What’s happening here...

However, Gu Tong didn’t give her a chance to object but calmly stated, ”He urgently needs artificial respiration now! Otherwise, his life is in danger, do as you see fit!”

”I... I’ll do it...” The blonde, blue-eyed woman was startled but didn’t dare to hesitate any longer. She immediately leaned over the middle-aged man and began to blow air into his mouth.

Her movements were fluid, revealing her internal urgency, enough to show how important this man was to her.

Time rushed by, and a few minutes later, the middle-aged man finally let out a cough.

His breath was not stable, as if he had just survived a disaster, gasping, and his breathing still seemed somewhat labored.

”Kun, are you okay...” The blonde, blue-eyed woman supported his back, urgently calling his name, her heart leaping into her throat, fearing any mishap referred to as Kun.

Kun gathered his surroundings for a while. Initially, his hollow eyes revealed a hint of fierceness, which vanished instantly, undetectable to others, and said, ”I’m fine!”

Really fine...

One moment, he was wandering at the gates of Yama Palace, and the next moment, he was fully recovered. Surely, no one could believe such a result.

However, this was not Gu Tong’s credit; what truly saved Kun were those special elixirs he carried.

These few brands, around the year 1991, had not been marketed yet, not just in Longxing Country, even in the M country, such drugs were extremely rare.

So, according to Gu Tong’s judgment, these drugs should be something that the man named Kun spent a lot to have someone concoct for him. As for why they might enter the market later, that wasn’t something Gu Tong should consider.

”Heart failure is not a trivial matter; I still recommend you to go to the hospital for routine checks and cooperate with treatment!”

Gu Tong’s words ended here; this was not a hospital, and she was not the patient’s attending doctor, so what she said could only be considered as advice.

Kun looked at Gu Tong somewhat strangely. He had just regained consciousness, so he did not know who Gu Tong was.

”Kun, she’s the doctor who just saved you, very skilled. If it weren’t for her, you might still be unconscious...” The blonde, blue-eyed woman quickly explained, fearing Kun might misunderstand something.

Kun’s eyes were more scrutinizing; he observed Gu Tong for a moment, then said, ”Thank you!”

After all, she was his lifesaver, and he should express gratitude.

”You’re welcome!” She was a doctor; saving lives was her responsibility; there was nothing to thank for.

With that, she calmly said, ”If there’s nothing else, I’ll go back first; my husband is still waiting for me!”
