Possessed By The God: God's Choice Series I (omegaverse bl)

Noah’s POV

Harrumph!

I must look like an angry child, but that man in the room with his formal clothes, pocket watch, and brown pushed back hair drives me up the wall.

Elias Deus makes me so mad.

One minute I’m a jack-in-the-box, the next minute I’m a rock, the next I’m a book.

”Forgive me goddess, but I’m about to curse at him, I’ll pray some more after this” I mutter a quick prayer before proceeding to curse in my head.

He’s a fucking jerk and a shitty person.

Satisfaction blooms in my chest after those words.

”The Luna specifically asked for cheddar cheese” two maids walk past me quickly without looking my way.

That’s when I stop walking and I realize how far away from Elias’s room I’ve gone.

I turn my head to look around me to see if I recognize anywhere, but I don’t. And instead of going back to Elias, I continue to walk.

Zane has always said I have the survival instinct of a panda and he’s not wrong. I’d do anything except going back to that man.

I don’t even understand why my omega keeps wanting to breathe his rich scent in when I can’t stand him. I don’t even like spice in my food, and when I ate black pepper a while ago it turned me into a tomato.

Jerk.

I keep stomping down the hall, going further into the isolated place. I have taken only five steps before I am suddenly made to stop by the sound of an angry growl.

Huh?

The growl is repeated and it sounds nothing like the growl made by a human.

The hair on my body stands on end as I turn around slowly.

Two dogs.

Two giant dogs.

My heart launches itself from its position in my chest to my open mouth as I stare at the dogs in front of me.

I’ve always loved dogs but these ones...these ones don’t seem to like me.

The dobermans are positioned in a crouch as if they’re giving me a warning not to move. One of them has his ears cut, while the other one’s ears are still intact.

I’m going to finally die today, am I not?

Where’s Elias and his ’you’re mine’ declarations? Where is he when I need him?

I move slightly and the two dogs start to bark. The last thing I see is one jumping to attack me and I shut my eyes, bringing my hands up to cover my face as I accept my fate.

Good bye cruel world.

Good bye dad, I never got to tell you that I know you’ll never abandon me.

Goodbye Zane, forgive me for dying too soon.

Goodbye...

”Sit” an alpha’s rough command reaches my ear and I hear the dogs whine.

The bite I’m expecting doesn’t come and I open my eyes to find Damien Deus standing by the doorframe of a room.

His bulging arm is holding his body against the frame and he’s half naked. There’s sweat dripping off the alpha’s body and his hair is down, also drenched in sweat.

I want Elias now.

My body is shaking with fear.

I need Elias, I’m sorry for walking out on him.

”Well, well, well, brother-in-law. I never thought you’d visit me for family bonding time” he says and I shake my head.

My heart is still pounding rapidly.

”Come in and sit” Damien says.

”I don’t want to...”

”Come in and sit” he repeats with darkness in his tone and his eyes.

I look at the dogs who are now sitting with their teeth bared at me. One look at them is enough to make me follow Damien’s instruction.

”That one is trained to kill. One bite and you’re dead” Damien informs me and moves out of the way to let me go through the door.

With a sigh and my head down, I get into the room and sit on the edge of the bed.

His room is bigger than my forced husband’s. Where Elias has a collection of rocks, watches, and books, Damien has a personal mini gym.

There’s a TV on the wall and it’s playing a quiet song.

I squint at it and realize he’s playing Laufey’s Lover girl.

What is going on in this house?

”So...” Damien starts, walking to his computer and sitting on the chair. The computer screen is displaying a movie that looks strange, it’s a scene that keeps showing a man in prison.

”Eli’s cock isn’t enough for you, is it? Now you want the older one’s dick in you too?” he asks and I blink.

”What?”

”The thirstiest ones are always the virgin ones, one hot fuck and they want more” he says and I jump to my feet.

”I am not looking for...”

”I’m closed for business, little Gold. I don’t fuck family member’s leftovers” he says and I just stare at him with my mouth open.

”Besides, you won’t claw at my back and draw blood while your walls suffocate me in the way I like” his eyes trace my body, but I feel no heat from him, just mockery.

He’s playing with me like I’m one of his dogs!

”I don’t want to sleep with you, you buffoon” I yell in irritation and my action triggers the dogs.

The dobermans get up and start to growl at me.

”You’re too boring” he clicks his tongue at me and points a finger at his dogs, ”stand down” he growls and they sit.

”You too sit down, we need to talk and it’s very important” he says as the playfulness leaves his eyes.

Like this even with his hair messy and his body sweaty, he looks like he’s a businessman ready to buy a stock. He doesn’t sound like the insane first son of the feared mafia household.

”I don’t want to talk with you, I want Elias” I hiss at Damien and his facial expression doesn’t change.

”We either talk, or we’ll have a problem” he says.

”Your choice” he adds as he points at the dogs with his thumb.

I look at the dogs, the door, and at him.

”Fine” I whisper.

Elias would not kill me, but I know Damien won’t hesitate to do so. I wanted to die before, but now...I don’t want to die.

”Good, now take your seat. We’ll play a game and it has to do with him” he says as he gestures to the screen of his computer.

I get up again and move closer to look at it.

It’s not a movie...it’s Zane.

”Why do you...wh-why do you have a video of Zane?” I stutter the question in fear for my best friend’s life and Damien shuts off the screen.

”Go back and sit, little Gold. Let’s make the best of our new found family bond” he says with a smile on his face.

An oddly friendly smile.

What hell have we been brought into?
