Rebirth: Splendid Marriage in the 80s

Chapter 3124: Chapter 3060: The Qualifications of Princesses and Princes

Originally, she had no idea and could be said that her past environment simply did not allow her the opportunity to come into contact with such places.

But now she knew.

Zhongming Hall, if placed in the Imperial Era, would be akin to a venue where the Royal Family held ceremonies for heaven worship or blessing, a place not opened for anything less than major royal events.

Even those with considerable power and status might not be qualified to enter.

Jiang Xiao couldn’t recover for a long time, ”Uncle, did I hear it wrong? Zhongming Hall? You let me and Brother Xinian hold a wedding at Zhongming Hall? On what grounds?”

In ancient times, wasn’t that place only available for the most favored Princesses and Princes to hold their grand weddings?

Even the average Princesses and Princes were not qualified.

Although it’s no longer the royal era, some rules are about the same.

”Originally, I wouldn’t suggest such an idea,” Li Hanzhong said, ”but now there’s something I want to tell you, Lu Zhenggang’s son is getting married, and he’s marrying a lady from the Long Family. Lu Zhenggang has been striving to have his son’s wedding banquet at Zhongming Hall.”

Jiang Xiao had heard back then that Sister Long Xiaocai was engaged to a young master from the Lu Family, and now they are ready to get married?

”Moreover, you probably don’t know, their wedding is on the same day as yours.” Li Hanzhong added.

Jiang Xiao was stunned.

”Are you saying the Lu Family’s wedding is also on August 27th?”

”Yes.” Li Hanzhong nodded, ”They always said it was September 1st, but suddenly confirmed the date these past few days as August 27th. And they’ve invited the whole family of Commander Cui, as well as your aunt and me, and of course other guests like Yang Zhiqi, Old Wei, Chen Baoshen, and so on.”

Upon hearing this, Jiang Xiao immediately became furious.

Is the Lu Family doing it on purpose?

If it’s intentional, then using their son’s lifelong event to cause trouble, wouldn’t it be too much of a farce?

But if it’s a coincidence, why change to the same day and invite all those guests that she and Meng Xi planned to invite for their wedding?

”Think about it, if you and Xinian hold a banquet at home, and the Lu Family holds their banquet at Zhongming Hall, how would the guests choose? Attend your joyful occasion or go to Zhongming Hall?”

Li Hanzhong saw her mouth open as if to speak, raised his hand, and waved lightly, ”Don’t rush to speak yet, think about it, think it through.”

Hearing him say that, Jiang Xiao closed her mouth and her mind began to turn.

Li Hanzhong didn’t lay out everything explicitly for her.

That’s because he believed she could figure it out.

If the Lu Family were to host at Zhongming Hall, it would undoubtedly be a major event, and if the people they invited all went there, then fewer would attend Meng Xi and Jiang Xiao’s celebration, making that side more renowned while hers remained unheard of.

If she were just Jiang Xiao, then there wouldn’t be an issue, as long as she’s happy, it’s her marriage, no need for comparisons with others.

Unfortunately, she’s not just Jiang Xiao; she’s also Jiang Shiheng’s daughter, Old Master Jiang’s great-granddaughter, and Jiang Yingqiong’s niece, with such a connection to Li Hanzhong.

Though it’s a wedding, a joyful banquet, but once it involves such matters, it becomes more than just eating a festive meal.

At that time, how should she let Yang Zhiqi and Director Wei choose?

She believes that, in terms of personal relationship, they should all choose to attend her joyful occasion, but if it involves aligning with someone, concerning their future?
