Supreme Warrior in the City

Circling around this planet, Su Yang and his companions continued their journey, encountering more and more fierce beasts along the way.

Earlier, they could handle the beasts individually, but later on, they needed two or even three people to fight together. In the end, they had to all join forces to deal with those fierce beasts.

At this moment, everyone finally realized the training effect of this journey.

Their abilities improved significantly in combat against these fierce beasts.

Moreover, the key part was that after killing these fierce beasts, they could keep the beasts’ bodies. The bodies of fierce beasts were treasures that could be used in medicine, artifact refining, and even help in cultivation, all of which were extremely valuable.

In the Nine Realms, although there were some demon beasts, they were extremely rare. Particularly in the Human World, demon beasts basically did not exist. The few existing demon beasts were either hidden in the deep sea or in the primeval forests, making them very difficult to find.

Moreover, in the Human World, under the sparse spiritual energy, it was very difficult for demon beasts to grow. So, the demon beasts in the Human World were far less powerful than these fierce beasts and naturally less valuable.

It’s no wonder the days when Defenders go out to hunt fierce beasts are called hunting days since it really is the time they hunt fierce beasts. After killing fierce beasts, bringing their bodies back truly constitutes a hunt.

One day, after slaughtering a batch of fierce beasts, Su Yang and his team continued in that direction. Surprisingly, after moving forward for half a day, they didn’t encounter a single fierce beast, which puzzled them.

”What’s going on? Where have all the fierce beasts gone?” the Second City Lord wondered. ”In such a timeframe before, we would at least encounter three to five batches of fierce beasts, each with no fewer than twenty beasts. As for single or small groups of fierce beasts, they were even more common. What’s happening now? After running for half a day, we haven’t encountered a single beast?”

Everyone else also looked puzzled; this was quite unusual.

Su Yang suddenly had a thought and said, ”Everyone, be on guard. We might be about to encounter people from the other Eight Realms!”

Upon hearing Su Yang’s words, everyone realized.

There was one reason they hadn’t come across any fierce beasts for a long time: someone had already passed through and dealt with those beasts.

And in this place, besides people from the Eight Realms, who else could be here?

Just as Su Yang predicted, they were indeed about to encounter people from other worlds.

Everyone immediately became vigilant. Although they were pretending to be Asura Clan, it didn’t mean they were absolutely safe.

In this Endless Starry Sky, the other Eight Realms didn’t just target the Human World. In fact, there was competition even among the Eight Realms.

The Eight Realms were all in competitive relations and didn’t want any other world to become too powerful. Under such circumstances, if there was a chance to kill people from other worlds, they wouldn’t miss it.

Yet, when people from the Eight Realms attacked each other, they had to be particularly cautious. After all, the power differences among the Eight Realms were not significant, and neither were the differences in strength among these individuals. Without great certainty of killing the opponent, they dare not strike rashly. In this place, unless they could truly kill the opponent, they wouldn’t casually make enemies.

This was unlike dealing with the Human Clan, whose strength was genuinely weak, requiring no psychological burden. Therefore, anyone from the Eight Realms who encountered members of the Human World would definitely attack and kill them, which was the Human Clan’s sorrow.

Su Yang and his companions disguised as Asura Clan, but they were less than ten in total. In such a situation, the strength of other worlds would probably surpass theirs. If they truly encountered them, those other worlds might not treat them kindly!

Of course, Su Yang and his team disguised as Asura Clan was also to deal with people from other worlds, while framing the Asura Clan, killing two birds with one stone.

The group sped on for about two days and finally met a batch of people.

This batch was from the Feather Realm, and they were in a chaotic battle with a group of fierce beasts.

The number of these fierce beasts was quite large, around forty, with their leader being the king of this batch of fierce beasts, possessing extremely formidable strength. The leading figure of the Feather Realm was engaged with this king of fierce beasts.

The leader from the Feather Realm was truly strong, but against this fierce beast king, he was still no match, barely holding on.

He was clearly waiting for others from the Feather Realm to finish off the remaining fierce beasts and then come to help him deal with this fierce beast king.

Seeing such a situation, Su Yang immediately signaled for everyone to stop.

To seize the benefits of conflict, Su Yang would certainly not miss such an opportunity.

Su Yang and his team’s strength was considerable, and they were adept at concealment. Moreover, since those from the Feather Realm were engaged in a battle with these fierce beasts, they hadn’t noticed Su Yang’s group arriving.

The chaotic battle was intense, lasting for two hours, during which the Feather Realm lost five people, and others were somewhat injured before they finally dealt with all the fierce beasts.

The fierce beast king was indeed ferocious; in a frenzied final attack before dying, it injured over a dozen people from the Feather Realm. The first three suffered severe injuries and were entirely unable to fight again.

Even so, after the fierce beast king was slain, the people of the Feather Realm were exceedingly joyous.

The leading man of the Feather Realm approached the corpse of the fierce beast king and exclaimed excitedly, ”Who would have thought we’d encounter a Green Cicada King here. Taking this Green Cicada King’s body back, we’ve truly gained immensely from this expedition!”

Everyone else was also full of excitement. Such a king of fierce beasts could only be found by venturing deep into the Endless Starry Sky. According to their current journey, it would take at least another three months to encounter one.

In reality, given their strength, they wouldn’t dare venture much further than two months ahead. The further they progressed, the more fierce beasts there would be, and the stronger those beasts would become, not something they could handle.

So, they never expected to hunt down a fierce beast king.

Now, having hunted a fierce beast king at this spot truly made this expedition worthwhile. Without even considering other aspects, simply bringing back the body of this Green Cicada King would count as a significant achievement for them, removing any need to venture further.
