Extraordinary Realm from Persuasion System

How does one manage to attract over 100,000 concurrent viewers to a live stream?

Answers to this question vary widely. Some say it’s content, others quality; some suggest giveaways, others hype…

In short, everyone has a different opinion, making it difficult to give a definitive answer.

But if you ask how to attract over 1,000,000 concurrent viewers,

The answer is quite unanimous.

Luck!

It takes an overwhelming stroke of luck, being perfectly positioned at the peak of a trend, achieving instant fame, and becoming a household name.

Li 79, Sanyang, and Dayuan are classic examples.

And Zhang Beixing was now doing something even more outrageous!

He himself was the eye of the storm, the trendsetter!

As a result, less than two minutes after Zhang Beixing had started his stream,

The number of online viewers in his stream room had already surpassed the 10,000,000 mark!

The fluctuating viewer count was conservatively estimated to be at least 5,000,000.

The bullet comments scrolled by frantically, so dense that they completely obscured the stream’s picture.

The big streamers who had recently gone offline now reappeared, as if by unspoken agreement, showering him with gifts and vying for his attention.

[Sanyang Brother sent a gift: Kunpeng Journey (160,000 Douyin coins) *10]

[Li 79 sent a gift: Cloudy Moon Gray Wolf (119,999 Douyin coins) *10]

[Dayuan Story Club sent a gift: Fire Kylin (119,999 Douyin coins) *10]

[Luo Yonghao sent a gift: Dragon Soars Across Four Seas (99,999 Douyin coins) *10]

[Dongguang couple sent....]

Gifts flew across the screen, their Special Effects dazzling.

However, Zhang Beixing acted as if he hadn’t seen them, ignoring them completely.

He just sat quietly in front of the camera, sipping his tea.

The big streamers, for their part, weren’t angry or otherwise upset.

They were very self-aware, knowing that in terms of status, standing, or even fan loyalty, they were not in the same league as Zhang Beixing.

Being able to show their faces here by sending gifts was already a good thing; they couldn’t, and didn’t dare to, hope for more.

And at that moment, quite a few people shared their sentiment.

Therefore, as expected...

The unexpected happened.

BUZZ—

With a soft hum,

In the bedroom, Zhang Beixing was slightly startled as he watched the stream suddenly disconnect.

Before he could figure out what was happening,

A notification from Douyin arrived.

[Douyin Official: Dear users, due to the excessive number of viewers and the high frequency of gift Special Effects, this stream has exceeded the maximum operational load of the current line. We are urgently adding more lines. Please bear with us.]

Seeing this announcement, Zhang Beixing gave a wry smile.

Starting a stream only to have it overload and crash the stream room... how absurd.

Meanwhile, in the stream room,

Seeing Zhang Beixing’s stream suddenly close, the netizens were also thoroughly confused.

”No, what’s going on? I just got here, how is the stream gone? I haven’t even seen my Brother Bei yet!”

”Could this whole thing be malicious hype, and the officials found out it was fake and banned him?”

”??? How can you say something like that? Didn’t you see Douyin’s announcement? Brother Bei’s stream was so popular it crashed their lines!”

”666, that’s my Brother Bei for you! If I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes today, I would never have believed it.”

”Seriously, this isn’t just explosive news in the streaming world; it’s mind-blowingly sensational, even by the most extreme standards!”

”Brother Bei is awesome!”

”So, Brother Bei is really still alive? He actually survived that barrage of dozens of bullets? That’s just too outrageous!”

”Isn’t it though! I’m just waiting for Douyin to hurry up and fix the lines. I can’t wait to find out what really happened!”

”Me too!”

”.....”

Staring at the black screen of the stream room, the netizens recalled what had happened in those two minutes, discussing it animatedly, utterly astounded.

They had never witnessed such a live streaming phenomenon before.

In just a few minutes, the online viewership had broken the ten million mark.

Top-tier gifts appeared endlessly.

The crucial point was that it had crashed Douyin.

Such an event was simply unprecedented, utterly absurd.

But, on second thought, the person responsible was Zhang Beixing.

The netizens suddenly felt it made sense.

After all, this was the guy who had been shot multiple times in Ancient Rome and had still come back alive.

Compared to that, a mere live streaming spectacle wasn’t so hard to accept.

「A few minutes later,」

Thanks to Douyin’s emergency repairs,

The stream room’s picture lit up again.

To prevent a repeat of the previous situation, this time Zhang Beixing, deciding to go all the way, directly disabled the gifting button.

His action indeed made the page cleaner.

But the various celebrities and internet famous personalities who had rushed over to ride the wave of popularity felt extremely frustrated.

Without gift donations, they were no different from ordinary netizens.

How could they possibly stand out and gain exposure from this?

Therefore, not wanting to let this massive surge of traffic go to waste,

They pulled out all the stops, each showcasing their Divine Skills.

Everything from flooding the chat with comments to rallying their fan groups was employed!

Until...

[Douyin Notification: Singer Hua, the Mage, has sent you a co-streaming request. Note: He wishes to discuss the innovative fusion of Martial Arts and music with Mr. Zhang.]

[Connect?]

Seeing this, many people were stunned.

Clearly, no one had expected such a move.

But, it had to be said, this tactic was indeed effective; without gifts, it successfully captured Zhang Beixing’s attention.
