DanMachi: Is It Wrong for a Mafia Boss to Go to the Dungeon?

”Heheh, naturally, Loki.”

Hearing this, Furina immediately puffed out her chest triumphantly. ”Although I came down a bit late, my Familia will surpass yours sooner or later.”

”Is that so?”

The smile on Loki’s face grew more playful. ”Hey, kid, with your talent, staying with Focalors is really too much of a waste. Want to consider coming to my side? The treatment is excellent, you know. What kind of beautiful girl do you like? Besides our Ais-tan, we also have lively and cute Amazon twins, and the Thousand Elf with a promising future. If you like them more mature, there’s even a noble High Elf princess.”

”So you want to poach him right to my face, Loki.”

Furina put her hands on her hips, blocking Aiden angrily. ”Hmph, you’re underestimating me too much. With my charm, how could Aiden possibly go to your place?”

”Oh? Then I really want to know what the kid thinks.”

Loki completely ignored Furina. She grabbed a bewildered orange-haired elf girl from behind her and pushed her directly in front of Aiden.

”Look, this is our Thousand Elf, Lefiya. As long as you come, you can adventure with her and win the beauty’s heart. If you prefer someone more mature, Riveria isn’t out of the question...”

As she spoke, she tried to reach out to pull Riveria who was nearby, but she shrank her hand back in fear after receiving a bone-chilling death stare from the High Elf.

”Um... th-that, h-hello, I am Lefiya Viridis...”

Lefiya, who had been pushed out like merchandise by her own Goddess, wanted to cry but had no tears. Her pretty face was as red as a ripe apple. She could only lower her head and greet him with a voice like a mosquito.

But in her heart, she had already cursed Loki ten thousand times.

”Hello, Miss Lefiya. I am Aiden.”

Looking at the embarrassed elf girl before him, Aiden didn’t feel awkward at all. Instead, he revealed a smile of interest.

”I have heard your great name like thunder. It seems Goddess Loki is very sincere. Then... I have no choice but to consider it seriously.”

As soon as these words came out, not only was Lefiya stunned, but even Loki showed a look of astonishment because she couldn’t judge if Aiden was lying.

One had to know that in the Lower World, mortals could not lie in front of gods; silence was the only method.

But Aiden had broken this common sense.

This made Loki open her squinted eyes slightly wider.

”D-Don’t, Aiden!”

Furina, who also couldn’t distinguish the truth of Aiden’s words, hurriedly grabbed Aiden’s arm, anxious to the point of tears.

”I-I was wrong, I’m sorry. I got carried away just now.”

”Don’t panic, Furina. He’s teasing you.”

Robin looked at Aiden helplessly, reaching out to pull the flustered Furina and comforting her gently.

”Eh?” Just then, Loki’s gaze fell on Robin, and her eyes lit up instantly.

Although Robin was disguised and had deliberately restrained her radiance so she wasn’t as dazzling and eye-catching, Loki, who had seen countless beauties, still recognized the breathtaking, peerless beauty hidden under that ordinary disguise at a glance.

”This young lady, do you want to come to my house too? As long as you’re willing, I can agree to any condition.”

As everyone knew, Goddess Loki had three major hobbies: fine wine, fun, and beautiful women.

”Loki—!”

Furina finally couldn’t bear it anymore, gritting her teeth as she called out the name of this God of Mischief.

”That’s enough, Loki. Stop causing trouble for others.”

Finally, even Riveria couldn’t watch any longer.

She sighed, stepped forward, and grabbed Loki by the back of her collar like lifting a chick, preparing to drag her away.

Before leaving, she bowed slightly to Furina and said sincerely, ”Apologies, Goddess Focalors. My Goddess has caused you trouble.”

Facing this High Elf princess who behaved elegantly, had a beautiful appearance, noble temperament, and such a sincere attitude, the anger that had just risen in Furina dissipated by more than half instantly.

”Hmph, this Goddess is magnanimous and won’t lower herself to her level.” Furina turned her head, huffing tsundere-ly.

”Then many thanks for Goddess Focalors’ understanding.”

Riveria apologized again, then mercilessly dragged the struggling Loki away.

”Hey, Riveria, don’t pull me! I was about to succeed! You can’t ruin my good deed just because I wanted to find you a man!”

Loki was still shouting unwillingly, but she was soon completely suppressed by Riveria and couldn’t make a sound.

”Um... I am very sorry.”

Lefiya also bowed deeply to Aiden and the others with a red face, then quickly trotted to catch up with the main group.

If it were any other stubborn elf, they might have shut themselves in on the spot after Loki’s series of operations.

But because Lefiya came from the Wishe Forest where the atmosphere was relatively open, she was a rare social type of elf, so she didn’t suffer too much mental damage—she was just extremely shy.

A farce triggered by Loki finally came to an end under Riveria’s forceful suppression.

The atmosphere in the pub didn’t become awkward because of this; instead, it became even more lively.

”Hey, Mr. Hero, see you next time! I’ll come find you to play again!”

Before being dragged away by her sister Tione, the Amazon girl Tiona, whose enthusiasm hadn’t diminished, still waved energetically at Aiden.

Hearing this, a gentle smile appeared on Aiden’s face. He raised the glass in his hand to signal and responded, ”You’re welcome anytime. However, finding me to play is fine, but can you change the title ’Mr. Hero’? Right now, I’m still not worthy of the word ’Hero’.”

”Oh? Only right now?”

A voice, frivolous but interested, rang out from the distant Loki Familia long table.

Loki, who had just been forced to sit down by Riveria and still had several fresh bumps on her head, didn’t care at all. Her squinted eyes opened slightly, golden pupils flickering with playful light as she stared at Aiden with interest.

”He’s really a confident kid. I like him.”

The dwarf warrior Gareth Landrock stroked his proud beard and let out a loud laugh, his words full of undisguised appreciation.

”Indeed.”

The Captain of the Loki Familia, Finn Deimne, put down the wine glass in his hand. His eyes, deep as sapphires, shone with the light of wisdom.

He looked at Aiden, then turned to Loki beside him, speaking calmly:

”Even just hearing it from Riveria and the others, one can imagine the weight of that battle. He does indeed have the potential to become a hero.”

He paused, then changed the subject: ”Loki, your proposal just now wasn’t a joke, was it?”

”Yeah. I was serious.”

Loki’s expression changed instantly.

She was no longer the mischievous god with a hippie smile. In those fully opened golden eyes was a seriousness and decisiveness belonging to a god.
