”After the Familia registration is complete, the next step is the personal registration of the adventurers.”

The half-elf girl, who had been waiting quietly on the side, spoke up with a smile.

”According to regulations, the Guild assigns a dedicated advisor to every newly registered adventurer. if you don’t mind, may I serve as the advisor for you two?”

She extended her hand to the two of them and introduced herself:

”My name is Eina Tulle.”

Eina’s kindness, thoughtfulness, and serious, responsible attitude gave Aiden a very good impression. He shook her hand and smiled.

”Then we’ll be troubling you, Miss Eina.”

Led by Eina, they arrived at a quiet private reception room.

Adventurer registration was simple; it was nothing more than basic information like name, gender, race, and age.

When it was Robin’s turn, she took off her hood, revealing that peerlessly beautiful face capable of outshining a hundred flowers.

Even the experienced Eina was clearly stunned for a moment upon seeing Robin’s appearance, a flash of amazement crossing her eyes. However, she quickly recovered her professionalism and continued the registration process.

The race Robin listed was Human. Although she was strictly a Halovian, after being summoned to this world, the iconic halo above her head had disappeared. By all characteristics, she was judged by this world to be human.

After completing all registrations, Eina began to explain in detail the various matters novice adventurers needed to pay attention to, from the basic structure of the Dungeon to the types and habits of monsters on the upper floors—no detail was left out.

”...In short, before you have sufficient intelligence and preparation, absolutely do not rashly enter the Dungeon. Remember, the biggest taboo for an adventurer is to ’adventure’.”

Eina concluded seriously.

This sentence sounded very contradictory, but her meaning was: in a place like the Dungeon, reckless, gambling-style rashness would only result in death. If one truly wanted to live long, one had to be cautious and steady, avoiding ”gambling-style adventures” as much as possible.

”If you encounter any trouble later, you can come to the Guild to find me.”

Her genuine responsibility and seriousness won the unanimous favor of Furina and Robin.

With registration handled, the next issue to solve was accommodation.

When Eina learned they were preparing to rent a house in the Seventh District, she very enthusiastically volunteered to take them to a landlord she knew.

”With an introduction from an acquaintance, at least you don’t have to worry about the landlord arbitrarily raising the price because you’re newcomers.”

That was what she said.

With Eina’s help, they quickly rented a two-story small building on a secluded street corner. Although somewhat old, the interior was cleaned very thoroughly, and it came fully furnished, sufficient for the three of them to live in.

To express his gratitude, Aiden wanted to treat Eina to a meal, but she smilingly refused.

”This is just part of my job.”

Standing at the door, she solemnly warned one last time,

”Mr. Aiden, Miss Robin, please promise me that before you go to the Dungeon for the first time, you must come find me first. I will conduct the most basic knowledge tutorial for you and provide the latest Dungeon information.”

”We promise you.”

Aiden nodded seriously.

Watching Eina’s retreating figure, Robin couldn’t help but sigh, ”What a kind and responsible advisor.”

”Mhm, Eina is a good person.”

Furina also nodded vigorously. She held great affection for this half-elf who had respectfully addressed her as ”Goddess Focalors” from beginning to end.

Night fell. The Focalors Familia finally had its first true home in Orario.

On the first morning in their new home in Orario, sunlight cast dappled spots on the wooden floor through the not-quite-clean windows.

After a simple breakfast, the aroma of bread filled the air.

”We need to go buy equipment.”

Aiden put down the cup in his hand, his tone calm.

Robin nodded. Her lake-green eyes held no fear, only seriousness.

Furina, meanwhile, was eating cake in small bites on the side, vaguely cheering them on with her mouth full.

Hephaestus Familia, the most prestigious forging Familia in Orario and even the whole world; their shops were spread across every corner of the city.

The one Aiden and the others chose was a branch store located in the Eighth District. The storefront wasn’t large, and the decor was relatively simple. The target customers were obviously those low-level adventurers who weren’t well-off.

Pushing open the shop door, a unique smell mixed with metal, machine oil, and coolant hit them.

The space inside wasn’t big. The walls were hung full of various weapons and armor—longswords, short knives, battle axes, leather armor, chainmail... everything one could need. Although most were of simple workmanship, each piece glinted with a practical, cold light.

Because their savings were limited, Aiden’s selection process was very pragmatic.

He chose a single-handed longsword of just the right length and weight for himself, as well as a set of lightweight leather armor that facilitated movement.

But when choosing equipment for Robin, his standards were completely different.

In the end, he purchased a white ash wood staff inlaid with a cyan Magic Stone at the tip for her.

This staff wasn’t high-grade, but it was a boutique item among similar equipment. The shaft was smooth, and its magic conductivity was excellent.

Its price almost exceeded the total of Aiden’s entire set of equipment.

”Only by being fully prepared can we respond to any eventuality.”

Looking at the bill, Aiden felt no ripples in his heart.

After buying the equipment, they didn’t delay for a moment and went straight to the Guild.

When Eina saw the two appearing before her fully armed, a heartfelt smile of relief appeared on her face.

”That’s great. You didn’t ignore my advice.”

She led the two into the familiar private consultation room.

”Many rash newcomers always think the Dungeon is child’s play and rush in without even preparing decent equipment. Adventurers like you who make me feel at ease are truly too few.”

Relieved, she spread out a detailed map and began the final knowledge dissemination for them.

”...Dungeon floors 1 to 5, the main monsters are Goblins and Dungeon Lizards. Their attack patterns are very simple. But when you reach the 6th floor, you will encounter the first true test—War Shadows. They are fast and skilled at sneak attacks, recognized as ’Rookie Killers’...”

Eina explained with utmost seriousness, listing all the known dangers of the upper floors one by one.

Aiden listened quietly, noting down this precious intelligence.

He certainly accepted Eina’s kindness, but in his heart, he knew better than anyone that what they were about to face would never be just these standard answers on the paper.

That skill named [Abyss Gazed Back] destined him and his Familia to walk a path of pioneering distinct from all others.
