Looking at Eina’s worried expression, Robin felt warmth in her heart. She took the initiative to step forward and comforted her in a gentle tone:

”We apologize for worrying you, Miss Eina. Actually, before coming to Orario, we had already joined a Familia and possess a certain amount of combat experience. We aren’t pure rookies, so you don’t need to be overly concerned about us.”

These comforting words for Eina were an excuse Aiden and Robin had agreed upon long ago.

After all, given their skills and potential, their leveling speed would inevitably far exceed that of ordinary people.

Once they leveled up, they had to report it to the Guild.

Forcibly concealing it wasn’t impossible, but the consequences of being discovered would be severe.

In this world, a mismatch between level and strength was a major point of suspicion and could easily attract a thorough investigation by the Guild.

Unless they could obtain an item like the ”Hades’ Helm” used by Asfi, Captain of the Hermes Familia—the ”Versatile One”—which could hide one’s aura and status, hiding their level long-term was an almost impossible task.

Rather than explaining passively in the future, it was better to lay the groundwork proactively from the start.

”Already received Falna and accumulated a large amount of experience points in the outside world”—this explanation could perfectly explain why their first level-up would be so fast, keeping the initiative in their own hands.

As for the future, Aiden’s goal was clear.

As long as he could reach Level 3 as soon as possible, relying on his magic that defied standards and Robin’s rank-up magic capable of reversing the tide of battle, apart from the top few Familias in Orario, there would be few forces left that could threaten them.

At that time, they would no longer need to be as scrupulous and cautious as they were now.

Dissatisfied? Then fight!

Under the repeated assurances of Aiden and Robin, Eina was finally placated.

Subsequently, led by her, the two went to the Guild’s exchange point.

The exchange process was very smooth.

The recycling price of Magic Stones was fixed. After the Guild staff measured the size and purity with professional tools, they gave a price.

And those brand-new drops—Slime Condensate and Hilichurl Masks—since a large number of adventurers had already turned them in for exchange earlier, the Guild’s research department had already completed the appraisal and valuation.

”Pyro Slime Condensate, identified as a high-efficiency combustion aid and heat-conductive material, can be used to make high-quality fire potions or enchantment materials... Guild purchase price, 1,200 Valis per portion.”

”Hilichurl Mask, tough material, imbued with weak curse power, can be used to craft low-level curse items or decorations... Guild purchase price, 800 Valis per portion.”

When the Guild staff member placed the last bag of coins on the counter, it made a heavy thud.

”Hello, the total for this exchange is seventy-eight thousand, three hundred Valis. Please keep it safe.”

Hearing this number, several other adventurers queuing nearby involuntarily cast shocked and envious glances.

Over seventy thousand Valis.

For the vast majority of rookie adventurers, this was a huge sum that would take half a month or even longer of hard work to earn.

Yet these two young people who looked like rookies had used only one day... no, half a day.

Aiden calmly put away the money bag, his heart also surging.

And this was the result after he had prioritized supplying half the Magic Stones to recharge the system.

This income was no different from a shot in the arm for the fledgling Focalors Familia.

Replacing weapons, paying rent, feeding the god... all problems would be readily solved after this.

Carrying that heavy income and the fatigue from battle, Aiden and Robin returned to their small building in the Seventh District.

On the way, they made a special detour to the bustling street of the First District and stopped in front of a small stall wafting with a rich milky aroma.

Golden, crispy fried potato balls were tumbling in the oil pan; just looking at them was enough to whet one’s appetite.

”Please give us a serving of the largest Creamy Potato Croquettes.”

Aiden said to the stall owner with a smile, thinking of the god who was bored at home yet extremely passionate about food.

When they pushed open the door to their home, Furina was lying on the soft sofa like a boneless cat, listlessly flipping through a book of Heroic Tales unique to Orario that she had bought from a bookstore.

Her signature ahoge drooped listlessly; clearly, she was bored to the extreme.

”You’re finally back!”

Seeing Aiden and Robin, Furina instantly revived to full health. She jumped up from the sofa, opened her arms to welcome them, and then complained exaggeratedly: ”I was so bored home alone! I feel like all the fun in Orario has nothing to do with me.”

”Sorry to keep you waiting.”

Aiden smiled helplessly, reaching out to rub her hair soothingly.

”When our Familia grows and we have more companions, someone will stay behind to play with you every time.”

Saying that, like a magic trick, he produced the bag of steaming Creamy Potato Croquettes from behind his back.

The aroma of food instantly captured Furina’s entire attention. The pent-up gloom she felt just a moment ago vanished in an instant.

She cheered, took the paper bag, carefully took one out, blew on it, and then took a big, satisfied bite.

”Mmm... delicious!”

Although she preferred exquisite desserts, occasionally experiencing this kind of commoner food was also an unparalleled enjoyment.

”If you really feel bored, do you want to try going out and making some friends yourself?”

Robin looked at Furina’s eyes narrowing in happiness and smiled dotingly.

In her eyes, this god was more like a lively and cute little sister who needed looking after.

Unexpectedly, upon hearing this, Furina immediately puffed out her small chest and announced proudly: ”Hmph hmph, I’ve already made a friend, you know.”

She triumphantly put down the potato croquette, turned around to pick up that Heroic Tales novel, put her hands on her hips, and swelled up like a proud pufferfish.

”I went to the bookstore to buy books today.”

She described her encounter vividly.

”But I met a super gentle green-haired elf. After just a short exchange, she was completely won over by my charm and even took the initiative to pay for this book and give it to me.”

Hearing this, Robin felt genuinely happy for her.

”That’s great. This way, Furina won’t be lonely at home in the future. To make a friend in such a short time, and an elf known for being difficult to get along with at that—it seems Furina is really popular.”

Robin’s praise made Furina even more smug, her little tail almost pointing to the sky.

However, when Aiden heard Furina’s description, his heart skipped a beat.
