68: Chapter 68 Leonhart vs. Fu Hao”Leonhardt?”

”What’s going on?”

”Is it really Leonhardt?”

”...This game is freaking insane.”

Golden hair falling down, pale skin, the one-and-only Dragon Scale Armor in otherworld—no matter how you looked at it, the person standing in front of Fu Hao was the real deal, Leonhardt.

[ ”Brother Hao is the GOAT” donated 50 yuan. (Waaaaaaah!) ]

[ ”Leon Fu Hao” donated 50 yuan. (I can’t believe I’m seeing this with my own eyes.) ]

[ ”Class” donated 50 yuan. (Can he complete Helm’s quest if he wins this?) ]

[ ”Jin Hao” donated 50 yuan. (Leonhardt (Real) has appeared.) ]

”Haha, seriously...”

It wasn’t exactly a lucky day, so why did the heavens send down this trial five months early?

Fu Hao didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, while ”Leonhardt”—no, it should be called the ”Leonhardt Mimic”—stood motionless, just quietly staring at him.

”So it’s a passive-trigger monster.”

To avoid triggering a battle, Fu Hao remained perfectly still, carefully observing the copy:

- The Dragon Scale Armor remained the same, but the gauntlets and helmet were the styles worn recently.

- The weapon was a one-handed sword, different from the two-handed greatsword used when clearing the 78th floor, closer to the 70-71st floor configuration.

Although he had seen Leonhardt fight through recordings and candid videos, Fu Hao had never intuitively confirmed his skills, titles, and equipment details like this before—but one thing was certain: Leonhardt could use all types of weapons. One-handed swords, greatswords, spears, blunt weapons, axes, daggers, dual swords, bows, crossbows, slings... there were 10 types recorded in the Training Tower alone.

”He hasn’t used a one-handed sword since the 71st floor; this must be the 71st-floor configuration.”

In otherworld, which had never had a ”player copy” mechanism, did this Mimic perfectly replicate Leonhardt’s maneuvers, skills, and weapons? No one knew.

”I’ll just have to bite the bullet.”

Unlike trial dungeons, once you entered a new floor in the Training Tower, you couldn’t give up halfway—the only way to exit was death.

”I hope it didn’t copy his maneuvers too...” Fu Hao prayed.

The eerie standoff between Fu Hao and Leonhardt continued.

Fu Hao was both formulating a strategy and waiting for the audience to gather—he deliberately maintained the standoff, changed the stream title to ”Leonhardt vs. Fu Hao,” and set the cover image to show only Leonhardt’s face.

Sure enough, the community exploded instantly, and the server was on the verge of crashing.

A large number of users flocked to Fu Hao’s stream.

[ ”Brother Hao is the GOAT” donated 50 yuan. (Hao looks calm, but he’s actually scared, right? Panicking, right? Totally understandable.) ]

- ”Ranked number one, I’d be panicking too.”

- ”The 71st floor suddenly went from ’starter village’ to ’hell difficulty.’”

- ”As long as it doesn’t copy his maneuvers, he can win based on stats.”

- ”I have a feeling he’ll be one-shot within a minute.”

- ”I believe in Brother Hao!”

- ”Brother, show us what you’ve got!”

To further stir up emotions, Fu Hao started a point-betting poll:

[ Leonhardt vs. Fu Hao ]

1. Leonhardt

2. Fu Hao

- ”111111”

- ”Does this even need a vote?”

- ”Brother Hao’s legendary moment is coming, bet the opposite and you’ll definitely win, go, go, go!”

- ”22 Vine Bind + strongest 1-second burst, it can one-shot.”

As the number of votes surged, the viewer count skyrocketed from 700,000 to 790,000. Just as Fu Hao was regretting not breaking 800,000, a notification suddenly popped up on the screen:

[ ”Rachel” is currently streaming, 861,550 viewers have been redirected to this stream. ]

”...Sister Rachel, thank you for the raid.”

Witnessing the concurrent viewers surge to 1.6 million, Fu Hao was shocked into silence—in otherworld, cross-streamer raiding was extremely rare, and top streamer Rachel had never raided anyone else’s stream before.

- ”1.6 million concurrent viewers???”

- ”860,000 viewers, Sister Rachel is the GOAT.”

- ”Are they flirting?”

- ”Something’s fishy.”

The 800,000 viewers Rachel brought made the chat room boil over again. Although some viewers left, the influx of new traffic stabilized the total number at around 1.6 million—the love triangle narrative around ”Rachel × Leonhardt × Fu Hao” successfully kept the audience engaged.

”First, let’s announce the betting results...”

[ (Vote Percentage) 1. Leonhardt 80% / 2. Fu Hao 20% ]

[ (Point Percentage) 1. Leonhardt 82% / 2. Fu Hao 18% ]

Because of the recent anti-betting trend, Fu Hao’s support rate was higher than expected:

[ ”Gambling King” donated 50 yuan. (I lost miserably betting on the favorites before, this time I’m going all-in on the underdog!) ]

- ”It’s over.”

- ”The ’Gambling King’ of otherworld is here?”

While the audience was still arguing, Fu Hao had finished formulating his strategy. He raised the troll sword high:

”Earth Shatter!”

As Fu Hao’s signature skill, the earth fissure spread from his feet toward Leonhardt—he had assumed it was an ”unavoidable full-map attack.”

But Leonhardt struck the ground with his single-handed sword, using the recoil to leap high into the air, the debris grazing his hair.

- ”He’s definitely going to lose.”

- ”Is this reaction speed even humanly possible?”

- ”Laughing until I’m shaking, there’s no way to win.”

”Ranged attacks don’t work...”

Fu Hao hadn’t expected to defeat the enemy with one move; the earth fissure was just a lure to test HP and reaction—after all, Leonhardt’s fighting style changed with every opponent, earning him the title ”Thousand-Faced Tactician.”

Fu Hao also needed to figure out the Mimic’s mechanics.

”Once more!”

He stared intently at the Leonhardt Mimic charging in a straight line, and the moment the distance closed, he activated the magic in his ring:

[ The ”Vine Bind” magic stored in the ”Five-Colored Ring” is activated. ]

He charged forward while casting the magic—planning to follow the 1-second bind with Spatial Slash.

But the sight before him made his pupils shrink:

[ The target resisted the ”Vine Bind” magic. ]

[ You have been hit by ”Vine Bind” magic. ]

[ Actions sealed for 1 second. ]

Before the sound cue faded, the vines actually wrapped around Fu Hao’s body in reverse!

”What the hell...”

Before he could finish speaking, Leonhardt’s sword light had arrived.

[ Received 82,580 damage from Leonhardt. ] (5 consecutive hits)

[ Death. Login prohibited for 24 hours. ]

[ ”Amulet” consumed, experience loss prevented. ]

Shock, fear, horror—this ”match of the century” watched by 1.6 million people ended in Fu Hao’s crushing defeat, lasting only 5 seconds in total.
