Beastmaster of the Ages

The combined beam of white turned into a massive vortex that swallowed up Imperator Ming. Even so, Imperator Yin’s eight blades didn’t seem to falter in the slightest. His five-headed ten-armed form pulsed with murderous power.

”Eightworld Hellcrusher Slash!” All eight hell-ki-covered bone blades unleashed eight streams of blade ki within the Realm of Hellish Compassion, almost instantly scattering Imperator Ming’s white vortex!

The eight streams of hellish blade ki cut Imperator Ming into nine segments with the power of slashing through hell itself, crushing countless middlekin astrons in his body. The combined compound eye at the center of his chest was severed in two. The strike of Eightworld Hellcrusher Slash was so powerful that even hell itself didn’t stand a chance. Imperator Yin had managed to reduce Imperator Ming to his cosmic-god-essence form while being ganged up on by all five imperatores!

”This is impossible! Save me!” Imperator Ming cried angrily. He felt his cosmic-god body disintegrate as his energy began to scatter. Universe-ending despair filled his mind. How could he be the first one to be defeated in a five-versus-one?

He looked outside the Realm of Hellish Compassion only to see the other four imperatores struggling to fend off Compassionate Ksitigarbha. Despite that, the ghoul imperator didn’t seem the least bit injured thanks to the protective scales of the astralguard formation that defended it. It turned to look at the four imperatores with unwavering murderous intent. Though it had been held off temporarily, it did manage to create an opportunity for Imperator Yin to go for the kill.

”We have to save him!” Imperator Mo cried as he sent his cursed-energy filled warbeasts swarming towards the Realm of Hellish Compassion. Imperator Yinne, Imperator Cang and Imperator Yan rapidly used their cosmic arts to attack the realm as well. Too bad for them, the Realm of Hellish Compassion was the signature move of Compassionate Ksitigarbha. The combined efforts of the four were unable to crush it at all.

Imperator Ming, now trapped within it as a cosmic-god essence, despaired at the sight. No matter how much he cried or complained, he wasn’t able to escape the hellish realm at all. Right after that, Imperator Yin’s warblades smashed the spherical essence completely. Imperator Ming perished right after letting out an unbelievably harrowing shriek, packed full of the power of a specter imperator.

That sight absolutely stunned all the cosmic gods who were in combat, especially the troops of the Virtue Pantheon. They turned to stare at the Realm of Hellish Compassion as their imperator turned into stardust.

”Imperator Yin is far too strong!”

”Are the devas actually just specters like we are?”

”Impossible! Imperator Ming was the strongest among our kind! How could he die just like that?”

The specters of the Virtue Pantheon completely lost their will to fight, having not expected their imperator to be the first elite fighter to fall. Seeing him being cut into nine segments and eventually dealt the final blow was nothing short of experiencing a nightmare.

The cosmic gods from the other pantheons were also terrified. They look wide-eyed at Imperator Yin and his towering five-headed, ten-armed form. He was a fiendgod from hell itself, fierce and merciless. His overwhelming triumph was an immense blow to the forces of the Eightpart Pantheons, wiping out their confidence completely.

”Kill them all!”

”Imperator Yin is our god for now and ever!”

”Kill all those weaklings!”

The devas were absolutely pumped and fought even more wildly like never before. With the astralguard formation and the summoned ghouls backing them up, each one of them were able to take on three foes! Their powerful spirit spread all across Deva Imperius.

However, Imperator Mo and the three remaining imperatores began their assault once more. They used their strongest techniques and finally managed to break apart the Realm of Hellish Compassion.

Imperator Yinne’s beautiful face was not besmirched in the slightest by her seething killing intent. Her countless black primalwings blocked out the stars in the sky as they spun and formed many black holes which came pressing down on Imperator Yin’s bone blades right after he greatly exerted himself. Even though she was running out of black holes she could generate, she had no choice but to make her move.

Imperator Mo, Imperator Cang and Imperator Yan used that opportunity to unleash their strongest moves in unison! The solar grand serpent, stellar divine blade, and accursed beasts came crashing down on Imperator Yin. Being unable to neutralize those attacks with his bone blades, he was struck and sent flying millions of meters away, gravely injured.

”Let me hold the ghoul imperator back. You all should use this chance to kill him,” Imperator Mo said from his hiding spot far away. He turned his ninety-nine accursed beasts’ curse-vortex power towards Compassionate Ksitigarbha.

Then, a huge explosion of black hell energy erupted. Both Imperator Mo and Compassionate Ksitigarbha were unable to gain an edge over the other. Nobody expected that a ghoul imperator summoned by Imperator Yin alone was able to fight Imperator Mo to a stalemate. The cosmic gods that witnessed it felt a sense of unreality creep into their minds. Was this why ninefold hell-rings were so legendary?

Meanwhile, the three imperatores continued to gang up on Imperator Yin, whose Eightworld Wargod Blades were still pinned down by the primalwing black holes. Imperator Cang and Imperator Yan’s lifebound beast and totem attacked him from both flanks, lighting up the universe with their power with the intensity of a supernova!

They had both used their signature moves. The solar grand serpent to the left attacked with golden brilliance while the stellar divine blade to the right unleashed billions of sword flashes from the right.

Imperator Yin pulsed with black hell energy, but he wasn’t able to block the tag-team attack with his blades! With his blades tied up, he was not halfway as powerful as he usually was.

Imperator Cang smirked. ”Your ninefold hell-rings may have gave us quite a shock, but you still chose to go against the Eightpart Pantheons and the Heavenly Dao! This can only end with your death!”

Imperator Yin’s powerful specter body began to crumble as it was no longer able to hold up against the combined assault of the black holes, solar radiance and astral luminance.
