Beastmaster of the Ages

When the group of imperatores came out to attack Imperator Yin, the look on the faces of the devas completely changed. They didn’t think that there would be so many imperator-class fighters sent to fight Imperator Yin. They were Imperator Mo, Imperator Ming, Imperator Yinne, Imperator Cang and Imperator Yan respectively! Basically, all the imperatores from the Eightpart Pantheons save for the wonderians’ were there.

Their intention was clear. They intended to kill the leader of the devas to crush their resistance quickly. There was nothing else they could do but surrender after that.

”Die!” Imperator Mo had already been losing patience earlier. He opened both hands wide; there was a forty-nine compound eye in his left hand and fifty compound eye in his right, allowing him to summon forth ninety-nine warbeasts in total! These were Imperator Mo’s accursed beasts. They were all unique and had different forms, ranging from insects, avians, beasts to fish. The only common thing about the beasts were the blood patterns that carried curse energy all across their bodies.

Imperator Mo immediately backed away after releasing the accursed beasts while the four other imperatores came charging. Imperator Ming unrolled the white bandages around his body to reveal ninety-seven trembling eyeballs around his body that shot out powerful beams of destruction! Imperator Yinne turned into a black sea of stars when she spread her massive black-feathered wings that turned into savage claws of death.

Imperator Cang summoned a massive golden serpent behind him with ninety-nine heads, each one glowing golden like a bright star. This was the lifebound beast of the imperator of the Sundown Pantheon, a 98-crest beast, standing at the peak of the Sundown Pantheon! Imperator Yan, on the other hand, was accompanied by a massive totem sword with ninety-eight astral vortices circulating on it, giving it a beautiful and artistic look even when used in combat.

The onslaught of imperatores unleashed so much power that it shook the space around them. The devas that witnessed that sight grew incredibly nervous. No matter how powerful Imperator Yin was, he couldn’t possibly fight all five of his peers at once!

At that moment, the army of the Eightpart Pantheons began their attack. The space around Deva Imperius had turned into a cruel warzone. Fortunately, Imperator Yin’s earlier words managed to inspire his people to fight without fearing their deaths. Countless hell-rings opened as they summoned wave after wave of ghouls and even ghoul emperors to resist the invaders!

Deva Imperius’s imperial-class astralguard formation also manifested as many black scales from hell, each orbited by ghouls that howled at the incoming enemies. Yingsang Daiqiong and her three other specter kings tried to hold back the elite fighters from the Eightpart Pantheons as well.

The most eye-catching part of the chaotic battlefield was naturally the battle between the imperatores, which would have downstream effects on all other aspects of the battle. Imperator Yin snickered at the sight of the five incoming imperatores, having long been prepared to face off against such odds. He activated his specter transformation, sprouting eight arms behind his back and four more heads, turning him into a powerful specter with ten arms and five heads!

”So, this is the undying battle form of the devas, huh? The ten sect sin variant?” Imperator Ming of the Virtue Pantheon said with a smirk. The Sin Pantheon and devas were the two specter races within the EIghtpart Pantheons. They had historically competed heavily among each other and didn’t see each other in that good a light.

Imperator Ming did feel that the ten-sect-sin-variant form of Imperator Yin was domineering enough to resist the onslaught of the five imperatores. Even so, he chuckled and focused the ninety-seven pale beams emanating from the giant eyeballs on his body at Imperator Yin. Two white-bone blades came sweeping to smash the beams aside. Then, Imperator Yin launched massive blade flashes with six other bone blades to counter the attacks from three other imperatores, namely, the solar grand serpent of Imperator Cang, the stellar divine blade of Imperator Yan and Imperator Mo’s ninety-nine warbeasts!

As for Imperator Yinne’s primalwing black feather assault, Imperator Yin tore it apart with his final two arms and forced her back. His arms were armed with crab-like pincers that pulsed with powerful black-gold energy. Such was the power of his undying battle form!

”The Eightworld Wargod Blades!” Even though Imperator Yinne’s feather storm had been torn apart, forcing her to back off, a sinister smile surfaced on her beautiful face.

Imperator Yin had transformed into his powerful ten-sect-sin-variant form with five heads and ten arms. Each head could focus on an imperator that was attacking him. Eight of his arms wielded one of the Eightworld Wargod Blades each, while the other two arms were armed with massive claws from his undying form’s transformation. His current form looked rather savage and grotesque. Even so, the fact that he managed to defend against the first wave of attacks from five imperatores caused the devas to erupt in a cheer.

”Imperator Yin! Imperator Yin!” It was no small feat to fend off five attackers of that caliber, even for only one bout. Other imperatores probably wouldn’t even last one round. This was the imperator of the devas!

”Stop holding back and kill him quickly,” Imperator Ming said as he unleashed even more terrifying pale vortices from the ninety-seven eyes across his body. The other four imperatores also mustered even more of their power to use their cosmic arts.
