Beastmaster of the Ages

Chapter 3469 - Someone’s There

”I want you to forget it. I also wish to never see you again.” When Eminent Jiguang said that, her lashes fluttered and her eyes began turning red. It seemed that she was still agonizing over the matter.

Tianming felt a pang in his heart to see her like that. She hadn’t found someone she deemed suitable after all this time because she had high standards. It was also a sign of how important she considered her lifelong affairs would be. She wouldn’t just settle for someone she didn’t truly feel like she belonged with. If she couldn’t find such a person, she would prefer to not have anyone at all.

But her misadventure had resulted in a Mistrunner that she had no idea about barging into her life and redefining it. It wasn’t something she could easily accept.

He recalled the first time they had met. She hadn’t just protected him time and again, she had even lent him lots of springwater and baleflame. Her gentleness was absolutely enchanting. Even though she was still his senior, Tianming felt like he owed her a great debt—especially because she was Suishen Yao’s aunt and the fact that he had obtained her Suishen Blood.

Putting the debt aside, he genuinely cared for her. She was someone who made him feel things that he didn’t know he was even capable of feeling. After this, he could be certain that he did indeed like her. He felt an attraction for her that was even more intense than what he felt toward everyone else, including Xiaoxiao, Moran, and others who had been with him all along. The only one he loved more was Feiling. As such, there was no way he would be able to treat everything that had happened as a mere dream.

It had lasted for ten whole years. Even if it felt like there were only seven ’stories’ in each day, he had ’heard’ them tens of thousands of times. He and Eminent Jiguang had many more pages in their book than he and Feiling did! He was already familiar with every single astron in her body.

But she had asked to never meet him again, and Tianming had no choice but to agree. But even if the Mistrunner would forget, Li Tianming wouldn’t. One day, he would protect her as himself, not as some random stranger. It was a vow he made to himself, something he would never change.

The two of them remained silent for quite a while. Eminent Jiguang couldn’t even bear to look at him. After a while, she said, ”It’s currently the stormy season, so I’m unable to leave. Do you have a way to return me to Myriadpath Valley?”

Only then did Tianming recall the monochrome figurine. ”It’s been ten years already, so you’ve surely finished the activation process, right?”

”Complete! Successor, you may now assimilate me and control the Blissful Union!” the figurine said.

After getting an answer like that, he turned to Eminent Jiguang. ”It shouldn’t be a problem. First, I have to take control of an astralship. After that, I’ll be able to send you home.”

”Do you mean the astralship we were at before?” Suishen Jiguang looked at him and continued, ”Aren’t you worried that I’ll kill you and take your formation core for myself?” She could easily guess that the core was with him since he told her that he had to take control of the ship first.

”I trust you,” Tianming said.

”It’s best that you don’t!” she snapped.

Tianming knew that she didn’t want anything to do with him. She would refuse even his trust. ”Then I’ll get started with assimilating the formation core,” he said.

”Fine.” She nodded and began ignoring him. Instead, she regulated her emotions and channeled the energy in her body, glowing bright and lighting up the dark space they were in once more. She began looking around, probably for Suishen Yao’s mother.

They had come to rescue her to begin with, only to be met with a setback like that. Tianming had just been recalling it as he looked around, only to see a figure all of a sudden. ”Au—Lady!” He almost called her ’Auntie’ again.

”What is it?” she asked.

”There’s someone there!” Tianming immediately went down and saw someone lying at the spot between the giant’s crossed legs. The giant appeared to not have a particular sex, completely lacking the seventh astral organ. There was nothing but flat skin between the giant’s legs, so there was nothing awkward about it.

Since it had already stopped moving, Tianming immediately went down to see who was between its legs. Eminent Jiguang looked at where Tianming had pointed, causing the light from her body to illuminate that part. Tianming immediately saw the woman lying between the giant’s legs!

She was lying on her back with her hands and legs spread out. Her waist-length hair was crimson, spreading out neatly on the ground and looking like a rose. Her hair color reminded Tianming of Suishen Zhao, though his was a purer shade of crimson while hers looked more warm in comparison. It even seemed to ’pop’ more than Eminent Jiguang’s pink hair.

The moment Tianming saw her face, he could be certain that she was Suishen Yao’s mother. Suishen Yao already looked incredibly similar to Eminent Jiguang, both of them having perfect features. This woman’s facial features resembled theirs a lot, too, but with a much more mature air about them. She looked like an older version of Eminent Jiguang.

”Turn around and don’t look!” Eminent Jiguang yelled.

”Oh, right!” Tianming immediately turned around, having forgotten that everyone in this space had nary an article of clothing on them. What kind of perverse kink did the people of the Yin-Yang World have to make a rule like that?

”There was someone here with us over the past ten years, but we didn’t notice her at all.” Perhaps they had been too focused on the ritual while it was happening. Even though he had only caught a single glance, he could say with relative certainty that the unconscious woman was even sexier than Eminent Jiguang. It was like the mischievousness of Suishen Yao had blended with her aunt’s mature grace to produce such a figure.

Hmmm, I doubt she ended up like this because Eminent Ranxing betrayed her. The women of House Yumo definitely aren’t tempting enough to make him choose them over someone like her. Only a madman would kill a woman of that caliber.

As the woman was Suishen Yao’s mother, Tianming made sure to close his Sky Plundering Eye as well. Only when Eminent Jiguang asked him to hurry up and assimilate the formation core did he know that she had already taken care of Suishen Xiyue.

He opened his eyes and saw Eminent Jiguang holding someone who was dressed in her clothes. Her long hair made her look like Eminent Jiguang’s actual sister. While she was still unconscious, she was definitely alive.

”Is she alright?” Tianming asked.

”She’s fine, only unconscious. Her divine soul is somewhat mixed up, but she’s physically uninjured. There’s still energy in her, so she should be able to wake up....” As Eminent Jiguang said that, her tears began flowing nonstop; it was absolutely good news. She bit her lip and mumbled, ”Yaoyao, Little Zhao, just you wait. Auntie will bring your mom back to you.”

What she had wanted after all this time had finally come true. Tianming was overjoyed for her sake. If it weren’t for that astral giant, Auntie’s voyage in the Yin-Yang World would’ve been perfect. But now, she must have some regrets at the end of it all....

Tianming sighed, but didn’t dare to say anything else. He began assimilating the monochrome figurine in front of Eminent Jiguang.
