Beastmaster of the Ages

Eminent Ranxing wants to completely crush Suishen Yao’s desire for freedom, thought Tianming. Although he naturally supported Suishen Yao living the way she liked, House Suishen was a behemoth. A tiny Suishen ward had no qualifications or strength to intervene in such matters that determined Suishen Yao’s fate. Otherwise, his own life would be at risk.

Suishen Zhao and Suishen Shuang sighed beside him, worried for Suishen Yao. But they had no way out, either.

”Tianming, let’s go to the Suishen Ancestral Hall and prepare for the rampage idol!” said Suishen Zhao.

”Alright!” Tianming nodded.

”I’ll go accompany Yaoyao.” Suishen Shuang chased after Eminent Jiguang.

What a proud and complicated clan! That was Tianming’s assessment of House Suishen. It was probably the mentality of the house that was like the third child.

Generally speaking, the eldest was majestic and authoritative, the second unwilling to lag behind and often rebellious, and the third was... complicated! The Three Exalted Houses were like three leaders of a mountain stronghold.

Jiguang Sea was an incredibly beautiful place within Suishen Cave. There, the midsky essence had turned into liquid, forming a sea of starlight. The entire Jiguang Sea was a sacred place for cultivation.

But it belonged only to one person: Eminent Jiguang.

It was evident that, although Eminent Jiguang was young and had yet to reach the peak of her cultivation, her status was very high, very close to that of her brother. Otherwise, how could she be called the Goddess of Myriadpath Valley?

Within the mist, the Jiguang Sea shimmered with waves of starlight. Two stunning women were frolicking and swimming in the crystal-clear water. While playing, the tall beauty hugged the smaller one from behind, resting her chin on the latter’s shoulder.

Their faces were similar, yet exuded different charms. They were Suishen Yao and Eminent Jiguang.

Eminent Jiguang slightly closed her eyes and said, ”Time flies. I remember when you were just born and I carried you everywhere. In a blink, you’ve grown so much.”

”How have I grown? Compared to you, I’m still small.” Suishen Yao looked down, gazing at Eminent Jiguang’s slender fingers, and stuck out her tongue.

”That’s what makes you beautiful, and you appear ethereal and pure, you know?” Eminent Jiguang chuckled.

”Nonsense! Every time you show up, no one looks at me anymore, especially men. They all stare at you, including that Li Tianming,” Suishen Yao rolled her eyes.

”Does he?” Eminent Jiguang squinted and whispered into Suishen Yao’s ear, ”What’s this? My little girl is jealous?”

”Jealous? He’s just a kid! I admit that my impression of him has improved compared to the beginning, but it isn’t to the point of jealousy,” Suishen Yao said.

”What was your initial impression?” Eminent Jiguang asked, curious.

”Just a toy to annoy my arrogant brother. Once I was done, I’d throw him away. After all, he’s still a tainted beastmaster. Everyone says he brings bad luck and I can’t let my reputation be ruined by gossip, right?” Suishen Yao pouted.

”The kid’s impressive, managing to change the Little Demon Lord’s opinion through his efforts,” Eminent Jiguang softly laughed.

”No matter how my view changes, it doesn’t change the fact that he’s a tainted beastmaster. Even though you always tease me about keeping him as a pet, honestly, could you accept his lifebound beasts? Especially in intimate moments? It’s like being with wild beasts...” Suishen Yao said with some disgust.

”I could accept it. I don’t care much about bloodlines. On the contrary, as long as someone is interesting, I’d find it thrilling,” Eminent Jiguang giggled.

”I don’t believe you. If you were that casual, you wouldn’t be single. You’re too naughty, always teasing me.” Suishen Yao angrily turned around, pounding Eminent Jiguang with her small fists.

”So, Yaoyao, you don’t fancy Suishen Yue, Suishen Yuan, nor that kid?” Eminent Jiguang asked.

”Of course not. If he wasn’t a tainted beastmaster, I could consider keeping him as a pet as you suggested, not letting anyone else touch him,” Suishen Yao said, frustrated.

”Seems like Yaoyao has high standards,” Eminent Jiguang laughed.

”High standards? There’s hardly any decent choices! I’d rather stay single forever, like you. What a crappy Suishen bloodline, such a disgusting thing!” Suishen Yao grabbed her hair, looking distressed.

”Unfortunately, your father set the wedding date and publicly announced it. The matter can no longer be changed...” Eminent Jiguang sighed.

”I don’t care. I’ll die to show him! Let’s see if he wants Suishen Yue to become an eminent or if he wants my life!” Suishen Yao grit her teeth, her eyes red again.

”Hush, don’t be angry. I blended a lot of Myriadpath Sourcespring into the Jiguang Sea for you to soak in, just to make you feel better. Don’t get upset again.” Eminent Jiguang quickly hugged Suishen Yao to comfort her. She’d lost her mother at a young age, so all her maternal love had come from Eminent Jiguang.

In her embrace, Suishen Yao felt a little more at peace.

”Death isn’t a good solution. Moreover, your father won’t give you a chance to die. I tried that trick too. He knows all your plans,” Eminent Jiguang said.

”You tried it, too?” Suishen Yao was on the verge of tears. She was living such a good life. Honestly, who would want to die after being born into one of the Three Exalted Houses?
