Beastmaster of the Ages

The metal ores were densely spread out over dozens of locations around the Sky Palace Formation. Yin Chen had to hurry if it wanted to devour them all.

”Are the current ore reserves enough for you to reach a trillion? We might have to go to Ebonia if there isn’t enough here,” Li Tianming said.

There were metal veins all over Ebonia. It didn’t matter who they belonged to, or if they were sealed by formations. None of that could stop Yin Chen now, as long as a certain number of bodies managed to sneak in. Tianming deliberately kept several wonderians as prisoners so they could take him to the surface of Ebonia through the Xenoworld, which would make it easier for him to release Yin Chen on the world.

However, there was no need to rush.

”It’s not... enough! Five... hundred billion... at most!” Yin Chen replied.

With its increase in size, five hundred billion existing bodies would perhaps be dozens of times larger than the Sky Palace Formation if combined together. They could even form an entire continent on the sun. The ore veins from Gladeus should suffice for the entire population until the Sun produced its own. But it had never occurred to Tianming that they wouldn’t be enough for Yin Chen alone. He could already imagine the magnitude of Yin Chen’s transformation.

”Now can you show me your strongest ability? Or were you just bragging?” Tianming rolled his eyes.

”Hmph!” Yin Chen rolled its eyes back at him and sneered, ”Frog at... the bottom... of the... well well!” Yin Chen was cocky, but it was also reliable. Although it refused to say anything more, it was in fact anxious to show off its new ability.

Before Tianming was a silver sea of insects, each of them more than a meter long. The sound they made as they rolled and brushed against each other made his scalp tingle. ”Eh?” He noticed a silver light appear in the center of the sea of insects.

BOOM! In the next moment, the insects slammed into the light and disappeared. Although it was hard to see, he could still vaguely make out the shape of a large silver egg.

”What’s happening? They all disappeared?” Tianming asked.

”It doesn’t look like it though. They seem to be merging?” Ying Huo said.

Tianming was stunned. ”That’s impossible. There are so many of them. They’ll form a monster that’s even bigger than a nova source world if they all combine!”

“Logically speaking, that should be the case, but that silver egg doesn’t look any bigger.”

In just a short period of time, hundreds of thousands of insects had slammed into the big silver egg. It should have increased in volume, yet the silver egg remained the same size.

”The volume’s the same but there’s an increase in density.”

Tianming now knew that the denser the astrons were, the more resilient the physique would be. Lan Huang, Mister Taihe, Li Fan, and Zi Zhen were good examples of that. Yin Chen was already an astral god, so its existing bodies were actually composed purely of astrons. All those astrons clustered together with no increase in volume meant a higher density.

Each of its bodies are stronger, but they still can’t compare to Lan Huang. It isn’t going to have much combat power even if millions merge, right? he thought.

”Boss, that depends on how many bodies merge into one!” Lan Huang said.

Yin Chen’s advantage lay in its numbers. So what if a billion, or even tens of billions merged together?

”What if all of its bodies merge into one human-sized unit?” Xian Xian tilted its head in thought.

”What?!” Tianming was shocked.

”That’s impossible, right? If a trillion Yin Chens merged together and were condensed to the size of a human being, its density would greatly exceed Lan Huang.” Tianming shook his head.

”No way! If that happens, Tortoise Bro’s balls won’t be as hard as Fifth’s!” Ying Huo exclaimed.

”It’s possible. Fifth is the only one who’s successfully evolved, the only one with nine million nine hundred and ninety thousand stars, the hope of the village!” Meow Meow blinked.

”There’s no point in guessing. Let’s wait and see!”

Although Tianming looked forward to Yin Chen’s transformation, he couldn’t help but mock, ”Its bodies are really spread out. Even if they all merge together, the build-up takes way too long. We’ll all be dead of old age by the time it’s done.”

”Haha!”

They all burst out laughing.

Although Yin Chen’s combat ability wasn’t weak, its strengths lay elsewhere. Any gains in its strength would be an unexpected windfall.

After a while, Tianming and his lifebound beasts looked at each other in shock. When a certain number of Yin Chens had merged together, the multitude of bodies that were gathered in front of Tianming began fusing at a much faster speed. Judging by its progress, Yin Chen was clearly planning to merge a hundred billion, or perhaps even a trillion into one!

”How...?” Tianming was beyond shocked. Nine million nine hundred and ninety thousand stars! His heart started to race. As time passed, his eyes grew brighter and brighter.

”The first.. time takes... a little... longer. It’ll... be much... faster if... I begin... the process... in your... lifebound space... in the... future future,” Yin Chen said in its mechanical voice.

”Holy shit!” Tianming realized that the little guy was pretending to be deep.

Because Yin Chen’s bodies were spread out, it took an hour for all of them to merge into the silver light. The silver sea of insects in front of Tianming shrank as the light became more resplendent. A thousand meters in front of him, a shining silver egg floated in the air. It was only about a meter and a half tall, yet its light enveloped half the sun. Despite its size, its mass and density caused the space around it to collapse and distorted time itself. Not even nova source could go anywhere near it.

Tianming and his lifebound beasts stared at the dazzling silver egg in front of them with wide eyes. It was hard to believe that a hundred billion human-sized Yin Chens could merge into one body, yet maintain its original size. They were too shocked to speak!
