Death Guns In Another World

Chapter 1993: Short Memory Loss

Having taken her time to bath Nyx only left the lake after two hours. She automatically changed to another clothes and if Alex was conscious and saw it he would have been shocked because Nyx was currently in a black and white dress, the dream clothes any man of culture would undoubtedly like, she was dressed in a maid outfit, an outrageous short maid outfit accompanied by a gather belt and a black leather ballerina.

Nyx swirling on herself, she observed her outfit and nodded pleased, it was indeed true that this clothes gave you the mobility to move around like her little sister had said, unaware that the person in question was making fun of her when she suggested this and Silveria would have never expected her big sister to actually try this out, unfortunately she was not in the state to enjoy this, to make fun of her stoic sister.

Being satisfied with her outfit that gave her the freedom of mobility she moved, she didnʼt return to their lodging but went to hunt some animal and pick some vegetables and herbs to cook tonight dinner, after all despite being in an unconscious state Alex must consume nutriments considering his current state, it was a must if one wish for a faster recovery.

That evening the game was a rabbit, a plump rabbit. She collected various herbs, mushrooms great for recovery. She went to the kitchen and began cooking, she made a simple meat soup with various herbs for Alex, she cooled it before feeding him slowly until he finished a small bowl of soup, wiping away the sweat on his forehead she laid him back on the bed before covering his body with a blanket, leaving him to sleep.

Outside the sun was setting, evening had come.

As evening casts her dusky gown, when the air becomes fresh and restful, the time of joyful reflection has arrived. For in the achievements of the day are a form of self pride that warms the soul, that is a sense of happiness.

Nyx observed this beautiful scenery from the window, it was one of the enjoyable moment she loves. After enjoying this for a moment she decided to read to pass time.

The book opened as sweetly as spring flowers. Upon those soft leaves were words for the soul, a poetry that asked the core of each person for a dance. For it was written so deeply that it spoke of them more clearly than they could; it whispered the words ears lent themselves too gladly, as if from a wise mother. Nyx enjoyed imagining the writer with a magic wand for a pen, that she was some sort of inter-dimensional refuge. Somehow this fantasy added to the ambience each line she brought about, as if ideas could be both seed and aromatic flower all at once, a full lifecycle in an eternal instant.

She read the book until late in the night, she went to check on Alex one last time before choosing to sleep in the living room. Sleep came as soon as she lay down to sleep, she was really exhausted and needed to rest as well. Night passed quickly.

In the early morning, daylight unwraps the hues of the world. The new day, the new sky, the water and the land - ever the same and ever evolving - the embodiment of the moment and the eternal entwined.

Nyx woke up, she immediately went to check on him, Alex was still unconscious, his state wasnʼt alarming anymore. The gaping hole in the middle of his stomach had almost closed up but his right arm showed no sign of recovering, back then he sacrificed his right arm to save one of his women, he didnʼt want to lose another one again, chaos energy mixed with something ominous had seeped in the injured arm making it unable to recover by some conventional mean.

Nyx sighed and began thinking how to remedy to this problem, fortunately that thing wasnʼt completely dead, it could be used as substitute for Alexʼs missing arm. Hopefully, he was recovering well in her world.

After fetching water from the lake she wiped his body like she did yesterday. Once she was done she went to the kitchen to make another soup and fed him.

The days passed uneventfully with Alex showing no sign of waking up, then a second day, a third, days passed in flash, the sixth day started with a beautiful sunrise.

Golden light dribbled over the land like syrup on oatmeal. The leaves shimmered like a mirror flecked mosaic and the morning dew sparkled on the bejeweled cobwebs and grass.

Nyx woke up by the sound of something falling on the ground, she moved instantly to the bedroom to see Alex sprawled on the ground, he was trying to rise to his feet using his remaining arm, seeing struggle so pathetically Nyx felt pity, moving she tried to help him on his face it was then Alexʼs hollow eyes landed on her, his once beautiful heterochromia eyes, silver and blue were devoid of their usual brightness.

Nyx felt heartache seeing his eyes but what he said next was the most shocking.

ʼʼW-who are you?”

At first she thought he must be playing a prank on her but seeing his eyes she knew he was being serious so acted decisively.

She moved, arriving before her master, lifting him up and after making sure he had completely recovery she delivered a spinning kick.

Bang!

He was sent flying, breaking the wooden wall of the bedroom and continued flying for almost five meters, he broke many small trees in the process, he violently slammed into the ground, vomiting blood.

ʼʼFuck! That hurt, where I am?ʼʼ Wiping away the blood on his mouth he spat before lifting his eyes and they landed on the black haired body.

ʼʼNyx?”

The person in question was smiling and for some reason Alex felt chill, there was a certain ominousness in this smile.
