Death Guns In Another World

Chapter 1970 - 1752: War 30

With the sun rising over the horizon, casting a golden light across the vast expanse of the Drexia Empire, Artemia felt a renewed sense of purpose. After liberating the small village from the monstrous horde, she knew her journey was far from over. There were still countless people in danger, and she was determined to help them, to be their shield against the darkness that threatened their homes.

As she traveled across the empire, her blue hair flowed like liquid silk in the wind, and her blue eyes sparkled with determination. News of her victory had spread quickly, and whispers of her prowess as a lightning wielder—the lightning goddess—preceded her. With every step she took, she felt the weight of her responsibility, but it was a burden she embraced wholeheartedly.

Artemia moved swiftly, her spear at her side, ready to unleash her lightning magic at a momentʼs notice. As she passed through fields and forests, she could hear the distant sounds of conflict—the cries of people and the roars of monsters. Each sound tugged at her heart, urging her to push forward.

Her first stop was a town known as Stormwatch, situated on the edge of a forest. The town had been under siege by a group of ravenous beasts that had escaped from a nearby dungeon. As she approached, she could see the smoke rising from the buildings and hear the frantic shouts of the townsfolk.

”Hold on! Iʼm here!” she called, her voice ringing out as she dashed into the town. The scene that met her eyes was chaotic. Monsters were rampaging through the streets, destroying homes and terrorizing the citizens. Artemia felt her heart race as she quickly assessed the situation.

Without hesitation, she took her place on the battlefield. She raised her spear, feeling the familiar surge of energy course through her. The air around her crackled with electricity as she prepared to unleash her magic. ”Lightning Goddess, hear my call!” she shouted, and as she did, vibrant arcs of lightning danced along her spear.

With a powerful thrust, she sent a bolt of lightning surging toward the closest creature, a massive beast with razor-sharp teeth and a wild, bloodthirsty gaze. The lightning struck true, illuminating the area with a blinding flash. The creature howled in pain as it convulsed, and Artemia wasted no time in moving to the next target.

”Stay back!” she yelled at the frightened townsfolk, her voice firm but reassuring. ”I will protect you!”

As she fought, she moved gracefully among the monsters, her spear becoming an extension of her body. With every swing, she sent arcs of lightning crashing down upon her enemies, each strike accompanied by the sounds of thunder. The monsters fell before her, their bodies writhing in agony as the electricity coursed through them.

The townsfolk, witnessing her power, began to gather their courage. They picked up whatever weapons they could find—brooms, pitchforks, and kitchen knives—and joined her in the fight. Artemia felt a surge of pride as she watched them rally together, their fear transformed into determination.

”Keep pushing! We can drive them back!” she encouraged, her voice echoing through the chaos. She continued to unleash her lightning, lighting up the darkened streets as she fought alongside the townspeople. Together, they drove the monsters toward the outskirts of the town, refusing to let them take their home.

But just as victory seemed within reach, a larger creature emerged from the shadows—a hulking beast with spikes protruding from its back and a menacing glare. It charged toward Artemia, its roar shaking the ground beneath her feet. She felt a moment of fear but quickly pushed it aside. She had faced larger foes before, and she was not about to back down now.

With a fierce determination, she summoned her magic, feeling the energy build within her. ”This ends now!” she shouted, focusing all her strength into one final attack. She aimed her spear at the beast, her heart racing as she unleashed a massive bolt of lightning.

The energy surged forth, a blinding flash illuminating the battlefield as it struck the creature with incredible force. The beast let out a deafening roar, its body convulsing as the electricity coursed through it. Artemia watched as it staggered back, smoke rising from its charred form. With one last effort, it collapsed to the ground, defeated.

The townsfolk erupted in cheers, their voices ringing with joy as they realized they were safe. Artemia stood tall, her chest heaving as she caught her breath. She had done it—together with the townspeople, they had driven back the monsters.

”Thank you! Thank you so much!” a villager cried, rushing toward her with tears of gratitude in their eyes. Artemia felt a warmth spread through her heart as the townsfolk surrounded her, their faces filled with relief and admiration.

”I couldnʼt have done it without all of you,” she replied, smiling at them. ”You fought bravely, and together we saved your home.”

After ensuring the town was safe, Artemia continued her journey across the empire. She moved from village to village, helping those in need, each time using her lightning magic like the goddess she was hailed to be. The news of her deeds spread like wildfire, and she became a symbol of hope for those who had lost so much.

In a remote village near the mountains, she encountered a group of villagers trapped by a pack of fierce wolves, their eyes glowing in the shadows. With a fierce battle cry, she charged in, her spear crackling with energy. The villagers watched in awe as she unleashed lightning upon the creatures, her movements swift and precise.

In another town, she faced a swarm of goblins raiding homes. Artemia fought alongside the townspeople, her magic illuminating the night as she drove the creatures away. Each victory filled her with a sense of purpose, a fire igniting within her as she fought for those who could not.

As days turned into weeks, Artemiaʼs legend grew. She became known not just as a warrior but as a protector, a beacon of hope in a time of darkness. The people of the Drexia Empire began to believe that they could reclaim their homes, that they could stand against the tide of monsters threatening to engulf them, after all the princess was fighting for them.

Yet, in the quiet moments between battles, Artemia found herself reflecting on her journey. She remembered the faces of the villagers she had saved, the gratitude in their eyes, and the strength they had shown. Each encounter reminded her of why she fought—to protect the innocent and to restore peace to her beloved empire.

As she stood atop a hill one evening, overlooking the vast expanse of the Drexia Empire, she felt a surge of determination.

The sun was setting, casting a warm glow over the land, and she knew that her fight was far from over. There were more battles to be fought, more lives to save, and she would not rest until the empire was safe.

With her heart set on her mission, Artemia took a deep breath and raised her spear to the sky, feeling the energy crackle around her.

”I shall be the storm that protects this land!” she declared, her voice ringing out as she prepared to move forward.
