Resources are Monopolized, What Can I Do About My Unlimited Access Card?

Chapter 21 Class Assignment, Card Master Skills”Quiet!”

Mu Xuefei carried a pile of card-making materials onto the podium, signaling that class was starting.

”Sit down, I have an announcement.”

”With the College Entrance Examination less than two months away, the school has decided to open a sprint class. Anyone with a Bronze Fifth Tier level can join...”

Mu Xuefei paused for a moment and mentioned something that all the commoner students were interested in:

”Special resources will be distributed.”

The students below instantly erupted into chaos. In Class 3 of the third year, except for Chu Ling and Ye Suxuan, everyone else was a commoner student, though Gu Ye noticed that the two of them were also very interested.

Gu Ye turned his head and asked in a low voice:

”How come you two are interested in these school resources?”

”The school is backed by the Federation. Do you think a Noble Families is comparable to the Federation?”

”But the school probably can’t provide very good resources, right?”

Ye Suxuan took her phone out of her pocket, sent a message to Gu Ye, and signaled for him to check it.

After reading the message, Gu Ye’s eyes widened, and he sent a question mark to Ye Suxuan in shock.

”The Federation is way too generous.”

”Insider news: the resources are already on their way.”

”Biu~”

Two pieces of chalk quickly struck Gu Ye and Ye Suxuan on the head. Mu Xuefei stood on the podium, staring at the two with black lines on her face:

”No talking!!”

The two instantly became like quails, not daring to say another word.

Mu Xuefei continued: ”The deadline for the sprint class is this Friday night. Those who need to sign up should come to me as soon as possible.”

”Alright, that’s all for the sprint class.”

”You can have self-study for this period.”

After finishing, Mu Xuefei stood up to leave. Suddenly, she paused and said to the students below:

”This class is my last one as your homeroom teacher.”

”Starting next week, I will be the homeroom teacher for the sprint class.”

Someone among the students asked:

”Teacher Mu, can you not leave? We don’t want you to go. If you leave, who will be our homeroom teacher?”

”Someone will naturally come to be your homeroom teacher. All good things must come to an end, and it’s not like I’m leaving the school.” Mu Xuefei rolled her eyes and walked out of the classroom amidst the wails of the students.

Who wouldn’t want their homeroom teacher to be a great beauty? Even if they couldn’t see her often, seeing her occasionally was pleasing to the eye!

”Friday? That’s enough time.”

The class time passed quickly, but Gu Ye didn’t know how he spent the day because he slept through it.

Returning home, Gu Ye opened the official direct sales website for card-making materials. He kept ten thousand Federation coins for living expenses and used the rest to buy all the necessary card-making materials. He also bought the card-making materials needed for the bloodline card, so now he was just waiting to break through to the Bronze Fifth Tier.

Soon, the card-making materials were delivered by little Qingji. After sending off little Qingji, Gu Ye couldn’t wait to summon the [Furnace] to perform Refinement on the card-making materials.

”Just waiting for tomorrow.” Gu Ye’s eyes burned as he stared at the furnace, which was burning with intense flames.

...

Tuesday, sunny weather, unfavorable for weddings.

On the afternoon of the scorching sun, all members of Class 3 of the third year gathered on the playground.

The instruction teacher, Zhou Xiong, looked serious and shouted: ”Right... dress!”

The sound of students stomping their feet rang out as they quickly aligned themselves.

”Today, I know you are all looking forward to this.”

”Now we will begin the content of this class—Card Master skills, also known as battle techniques.”

”What are battle techniques? Just like a Battle Card Master, they are released by the Card Master themselves, but the biggest difference between the two is that a Battle Card Master needs to rely on cards.”

”Battle techniques are like the limbs of a Card Master; the technique follows the heart, and they can be released without any medium.”

”Battle techniques are diverse, including buff types, combat types, and so on. Their levels correspond to the Card Master’s level, from Bronze all the way to Mythical.”

”Today I am going to teach you the Bronze-level buff-type battle technique [Spirit Ascension]. Is there anyone who wants to test the ability of a battle technique?”

Zhou Xiong looked at the crowd. For a long time, no one stepped out to be the subject.

”Doesn’t your class have the first place of the trial?”

Hearing this, everyone looked at Gu Ye. Gu Ye helplessly stepped out.

”Come up! There’s no life danger!”

After saying that, Gu Ye felt a bit unreliable.

Gu Ye walked to the front, and Zhou Xiong stared at him carefully, only blurting out a sentence after a long while:

”It really does look like there’s a hint of first place about you.”

Under everyone’s gaze, Zhou Xiong summoned a large golden broadsword with a dragon head carved on the blade, casually carrying it on his shoulder:

”Golden Dragon Blade, weighing 50 kilograms.”

”Kid, take a slash from me first.”

Zhou Xiong suddenly launched an attack. Seeing this, Gu Ye quickly summoned Zhang Fei to block. The powerful strike slammed into Zhang Fei, and Zhang Fei’s feet instantly sank into the soil.

Seeing that Zhang Fei had steadily caught his skill, a trace of surprise flashed in Zhou Xiong’s eyes.

He raised the broadsword and slashed at Zhang Fei again, shouting: ”Students, watch closely. Next, I will use the battle technique [Spirit Ascension]. Observe carefully to see what is different about the two identical skills.”

Zhang Fei was fully prepared this time. As the weapons collided again, the extent of Zhang Fei’s feet sinking was only a little more than before.

Zhou Xiong retracted the Golden Dragon Blade and said: ”That’s enough.”

Gu Ye walked back to the team, while Zhou Xiong sighed in his heart that he was worthy of being the first in the trial; his strength had no exaggeration.

”Did you guys see anything?”

The students below thought for a moment, and someone tentatively said: ”The battle technique increased the strength.”

”You got one point right. Anything else?”

”There’s also pressure.” Ye Suxuan’s voice sounded.

Zhou Xiong looked at her with interest: ”How did you see that?”

”Aura. After you used [Spirit Ascension], although there was no change, the aura felt like it had ascended to a higher dimension.”

”Well said.” Zhou Xiong applauded appreciatively. Seeing that no one else had anything to add, he explained:

”The battle technique [Spirit Ascension] can temporarily increase the Card Master’s spiritual energy level. You should know that apart from the many differences such as the spiritual space between a Bronze Card Master and a Silver Card Master, the biggest difference lies in the spiritual energy level.”

”If the spiritual energy level of a Bronze Card Master is compared to a small ditch, then the spiritual energy level of a Silver Card Master is a lake.”

”However, the battle technique [Spirit Ascension] can only raise a Bronze Card Master’s spiritual energy to a semi-Silver Card Master level, which is still completely incomparable to a Silver Card Master’s spiritual energy.”

It was the first time Gu Ye had heard this knowledge. He turned his head to look at his two brothers; the two were poking each other and didn’t care at all about what Zhou Xiong was saying.

But upon reflection, Gu Ye also felt that their families should have already taught them this knowledge long ago.

”Next, I will officially teach you the battle technique [Spirit Ascension].”

As soon as the words fell, the students stared at Zhou Xiong with burning eyes, and Gu Ye was no exception. He also wanted to learn battle techniques, although he would have to wait until the bloodline card was completed to be able to use them normally.

Gu Ye had learned about battle techniques in the school library. Battle techniques require a Card Master to complete a bloodline card and activate the spiritual energy in the bloodline to be able to perform them.

The whole afternoon, the students of Class 3 of the third year spent learning the battle technique [Spirit Ascension].
