Resources are Monopolized, What Can I Do About My Unlimited Access Card?

Chapter 16: Exchanging Card-Making Materials, Forbidden MaterialsGu Ye did not fully trust Yang Fu, so he only took out half of his card-making materials for sale.

His expression was complex, his eyes filled with a hint of struggle, and finally, he shook his head at Gu Ye:

”I cannot afford these card-making materials.”

Gu Ye’s face remained unchanged as he said indifferently:

”Can you take this blue card creation material?”

Yang Fu still shook his head: ”I can only afford these green and white card-making materials at most.”

”As for this blue card creation material, my funds are limited, and I have no way to take it.”

After speaking, a hint of contemplation appeared in his eyes, and finally, he offered a solution:

”Do you need any blue card creation materials? We can exchange them.”

Gu Ye looked puzzled as he watched Yang Fu turn around and walk into a side room. After a while, he walked out holding an iron box and placed it on the counter.

Yang Fu performed a series of operations that Gu Ye could not understand, involving both pupil scanning and fingerprint unlocking.

Finally, the lid of the iron box opened to the sides, revealing three cards lying inside.

Seeing their style was the same as his own blue card creation material, Gu Ye guessed that these three cards should also be of blue quality.

Yang Fu gestured for him to proceed. Gu Ye did not hesitate; if any of these three card-making materials were what he needed, an exchange was certainly possible.

Gu Ye reached out and picked up the first card:

Name: [Ink Feather Crow]

Quality: [Blue]

Description: A messenger crow from the Shadow Swamp, its feathers are as oily and bright as thick ink, and its beak has a faint purple luster. It is cunning and has a good memory for paths; it can deliver short-distance letters for you and bring back subtle intelligence along the way.

After reading the description, Gu Ye silently put it down. In his mind, this card-making material was just average; it might sell easily in the card-making materials market, but it was useless to him.

Gu Ye then reached out for the second card:

Name: [Wind-Splitting Berserker Dart]

Quality: [Blue]

Description: Streamlined and willow-leaf shaped, it can be held for melee slashing or thrown remotely. As the treasure of the Profound Wind Realm’s Rending Thunder Sect, it was stolen by a traitor within the sect and its whereabouts remain unknown.

After examining this card, Gu Ye knew that the card-making materials for his bloodline card were secured. He calmed his emotions, kept his expression unchanged, and continued to check the next card, wondering if it would also be what he needed.

Name: [Right Claw of the Demon Howling Stone Bear]

Quality: [Blue]

Description: As an elemental creature of the Stone Origin Demon Forest, the Demon Howling Stone Bear accidentally blocked a hero’s path and was hunted down. Its left and right claws were severed; the hero took the left claw to roast bear paws, and the right claw was kept as a collection.

After reading this, Gu Ye lost interest. He put down the card, picked up the second card, and handed it to Yang Fu. A hint of tension showed in his eyes as he said indifferently:

”We can exchange; let’s go with this card!”

As he finished speaking, Yang Fu sighed in relief, a smile appearing on his face:

”Alright, Brother Gu, I will settle the bill for you right now.”

Yang Fu took out a machine, scanned all the card-making materials on the counter, carefully calculated the total, and immediately transferred the payment to Gu Ye.

”Ding! 2,893,000 received.”

After verifying, Gu Ye confirmed the transaction was complete. This was the second time he had seen so much money; the last time was when he had that many Happy Beans.

Preparing to leave, he wanted to go to the market to see if there were any card-making materials he needed. The creation of a bloodline card required too many card-making materials, both large and small.

It was not like the blue card Gu Ye had managed to create by pure luck back then, which only required a few card-making materials symbolizing the world’s background to succeed.

The creation of a bloodline card not only required detailed descriptions but also a heap of card-making materials symbolizing the world’s background. However, the main card-making materials were still just a few, while other auxiliary ones were needed in small amounts.

After all, a bloodline card is a card that can grow along with its host, without needing additional card-making materials for reinforcement or upgrades.

Seeing Gu Ye about to leave, Yang Fu reached out to detain him, but the words reached his lips and were swallowed back. He could see that Gu Ye had only come here to sell card-making materials and did not want to get involved with them.

After Gu Ye left, Yang Fu hurriedly urged his daughter, Yang Tongrui, saying anxiously:

”Girl, tidy up, close the shop.”

The two returned to a room in the small shop. Yang Fu confirmed again that there were no surveillance devices before taking out a card. Finally, reflected in Yang Tongrui’s big eyes was a gentle and beautiful woman, with a hint of confusion in her eyes.

”Mommy~”

Yang Tongrui cried out happily and threw herself into her arms, but the beautiful woman only woodenly reached out and stroked her head.

”Mommy, why aren’t you talking again? Do you not recognize Xiao Rui anymore?”

Yang Fu also looked at her with eyes full of love and said softly to Yang Tongrui:

”Girl, stand aside. Soon, Mommy will be able to recognize you.”

Yang Tongrui obediently stood aside, quietly watching Yang Fu operate.

The beautiful woman turned back into a card. Yang Fu looked at the card and muttered to himself:

”Wanfang, you will soon regain your consciousness and return to the way you were before you were a card.”

If there were any other Card Masters present, they would likely be shocked to hear his words; the information within them was too significant.

His card had been created using a human as a material, and it was his own wife. On Blue Star, all federations had strictly prohibited anyone from using Blue Star humans as materials to create cards, as it violated the natural order.

If discovered, one would be exiled to the interstellar front lines to serve as cannon fodder—no, not even cannon fodder.

The ultimate source was the appearance of a Card Domain, from which a type of card was produced that could seal deceased Blue Star humans into materials. This type of card was listed by the Federation as [Forbidden] sequence, and no one was allowed to touch it.

Although this Card Domain had been jointly suppressed by all federations, by the time the Federation discovered it, no one knew how many of these cards had already drifted out.

Yang Fu took out the [gui blood crystal] given by Gu Ye and fused it into the card. The card face depicting Li Wanfang, which had three and a half stars representing its star level, slowly rose to four stars.

Seeing that the card’s star level had ascended to four stars, he immediately proceeded to summon it.

Li Wanfang’s figure reappeared. Her originally wooden eyes were now filled with tenderness, with a slight touch of confusion and a hint of wariness toward the new environment. When she saw the two people in front of her, familiar memories surged into her heart, and she carefully called out:

”Husband?”

Hearing this, Yang Fu immediately rushed forward and hugged her. Yang Fu said with a trembling voice:

”Wan... fang... No, wife, I finally get to see you again.”

Li Wanfang gently patted his back, comforting him, but with a hint of questioning in her tone:

”Alright, you’re a grown man, why are you still so unsteady?”

”I remember I was hit by a car, wasn’t I? How am I here?”

Li Wanfang looked at the unfamiliar environment. Yang Fu let her go, and at this moment, Yang Tongrui also rushed into her arms. She looked at the little girl in her arms in surprise, and a familiar feeling washed over her.

Afterwards, Yang Fu explained to her what had happened since then. After listening to his words, Li Wanfang felt that her worldview had been hit by a massive shock...
