Wizard: I Add Points and Hunt Monsters

”Clelia!!”

Wei’en had just finished imprinting two Soul-Devouring Runes when he heard the voice. He had named Xiaoxi number three and four ”Red Devil” and ”Secret Master,” respectively.

And no, don’t ask why. He just thought the two names were easy to remember.

Wei’en released Secret Master’s head, rose, and went to the window, looking toward the Laos District.

’Clelia?’

’Looks like she’s fighting someone over there...’

”Eternal life, eternal life, eternal life is truth...”

Before Wei’en could make anything out, he heard what sounded like countless voices of Clelia chanting these words in Gonzalez.

Immediately after, a gray fog abruptly rose over the Laos District.

The fog was thick and heavy, and as it billowed up, it seemed to block out the light of the red moon.

From the outside, he could only faintly see two flashes of red and black light from time to time.

But under the enveloping cover of the gray fog, the red and black flashes appeared less and less frequently.

”Clelia, I won’t let you get away with this!!”

As the voice faded, one red and one black streak of light pierced through the gray fog and vanished beneath the red moon...

Wei’en felt his scalp tingle as he watched this scene unfold.

’Is Clelia really that powerful?’

That gray fog just now had enveloped nearly the entire Laos District and had almost spread to Golden Street.

Not only that, but the person who had twice cried out in impotent rage had managed to fight Clelia for so long under the cover of that fog. Clearly, they were no ordinary Extraordinary.

However—

’Lady Clelia, as a renowned figurehead for the Eternal Life Association, can’t you act a little more discreetly?’

’If this keeps up, I’m going to start worrying about people discovering my connection to you.’

’If I get discovered, too...’

Wei’en didn’t need a brain to know the consequences of that would be utterly catastrophic...

”Holy!”

’Huh?’

’Again??’

Wei’en recognized that voice, too. It was the Guardian Knight, Melbel.

Immediately after, a light as bright as day tore through the night sky, descending from above Krimms Cathedral onto the Laos District.

”Damn it!!”

Clelia’s furious voice rang out.

Wei’en: ”...”

It just went to show that every power has its counter. Now it was Clelia’s turn to be impotent.

After a good while, both the Dawn Radiance and the gray fog vanished, and only then did Wei’en draw the curtains.

’I have no idea what these powerful Extraordinaries think about all day.’

’With all this time, wouldn’t it be better to focus on improving their strength?’

’Like me—I’m always thinking about how to kill Melbel!’

With that, Wei’en ”viciously” grabbed a Xiaoxi, pressed his finger to the back of its head, and got back to the busy work of imprinting runes.

Imprinting five runes in a row was a bit much even for Wei’en’s current Spirit Level. He quickly pulled out a bottle of Enlightenment Potion and drank it.

As his Spiritual Power rapidly recovered, the color returned to his face.

”Phew...”

Wei’en sat down in his chair, waiting for his Spiritual Power to recover while he looked over the information on his panel.
