How Could the Villainous Young Master Be a Saintess?

Agh, what the hell was he thinking?!

Vinny collapsed inwardly as he looked at himself in the mirror, feeling as though he was going a little crazy. He began to suspect whether his mental state was normal.

Was this, was this right? This was wrong, right??

Vinny, oh Vinny, when exactly did you become like this? This was too strange in every sense, wasn’t it??

No, no, that was wrong. It was not because he liked her that he was doing this! It was purely because Aesphyra had saved him too many times, and because he owed Aesphyra too much, that he had developed this kind of thought.

Mm. Exactly. It seemed that was indeed the case. Because he was grateful to Aesphyra for saving his life and helping him again and again, he had a very favorable impression of her, and that was why he wanted to repay her.

Although Vinny knew this tiny matter was far from enough to count as repayment, he at least had to devote himself to it fully and show his sincerity.

That was right. That was exactly it!

Hmph. The so-called Camella Royal Capital’s notorious young master had this much scope and principle. If he were simply evil, that would be far too tasteless.

Even if he was evil, he had to be evil with taste and principle! That was what one called a charming Royal Capital’s notorious young master!

“Yes, exactly. That’s it. This is only to show my sincerity. I have no choice but to do this, so having this kind of thought is only reasonable, right? Well, after all, I have to admit that white-haired nut ball really has saved me too many times. Though she’s an annoying person, that part’s true! But one thing is one thing, and another is another.” Vinny faced himself in the mirror, his face almost pressed up against it, muttering over and over like he was hypnotizing himself, as though he had gone completely deranged.

“Uh, um?” Outside in the hallway, Shicodale happened to pass in front of Vinny’s door while going to get something from the room, and upon hearing the movement inside, question marks filled Shicodale’s head.

What was Vinny doing in his room? Ever since dinner ended, he had hurriedly shut himself into his room. Shicodale had no idea what was wrong.

From the sound of it, was he talking to someone? But this was their two-person dorm, and only the two of them were in it. Who was he talking to? There was no one else in the room??

This completely left Shicodale at a loss, and that little head overloaded once again.

Could it be that Vinny had been under too much mental pressure recently, and something had gone wrong with his head??

Shicodale immediately sensed that something was bad. But Shicodale was not a priest, nor a nun, much less an alchemist, and had no idea what condition Vinny was in, nor what method should be used to relieve this kind of symptom??

Shicodale glanced at the door to Vinny’s room, then went downstairs with some hesitation. ℴℴ𝘮

Speaking of which, there was only one month left before the Carillian Chosen One Granted by God Tournament was held.

Shicodale walked into the hall, saw the pendulum clock, and pondered.

At the same time, Vinny had also finished building himself up psychologically in front of the mirror.

Mm. When the original notorious young master sensed something strange about himself, there was no need to panic. He would comfort himself on his own.

It was still the same saying. He did not need to feel any shame or embarrassment over this. He dared wear women’s clothing. Did other boys dare??

As for why he was so overly tangled up about what style to wear, wasn’t that because one softened after eating from another’s hand? He was overflowing with gratitude toward Aesphyra, so shouldn’t he carefully consider Aesphyra’s feelings? What was strange about that??

Eh, thinking about it that way, it seemed he had been the one overreacting.

Vinny nodded at himself in the mirror and immediately understood.

What was this? So the thing that had been strange all along was not his behavior at all, but this ingrained way of thinking.

In that case, as long as he broke this ingrained way of thinking, he would be invincible!

And so, Vinny made a decision.

He felt that as the Camella Royal Capital’s notorious young master, the villain MVP of the original work—self-proclaimed—his presence absolutely could not be too casual. He had to have his own aura and bearing.

Since he had made up his mind to do something, he could not be all hesitant and awkward about it. He had to devote himself wholeheartedly, do this thing well, and do it to the utmost!

Once he figured it out, Vinny suddenly felt the world open wide. He opened his wardrobe. There were not many clothes arranged inside. Apart from his uniforms, there were only the everyday clothes he usually wore.

Boys were like that. They did not pay much attention to these things. They did not have many pieces of clothing either, and did not care about style. As long as it could be worn, that was enough.

But today, he felt he could not be so casual.

What he had to wear was not the clothing in this wardrobe, but the clothing stored in the inner layer of this wardrobe.

Vinny opened the wardrobe’s hidden door, and inside, two more sets of clothing were hanging.

Both sets were Carillian Academy uniforms, and women’s uniforms at that. However, their sizes were completely different. One was ridiculously large. The other basically had no size at all.

One was something Vanessa had worn. The other was something he had worn while cross-dressing.

After wearing these two pieces of clothing, he had not thrown them away. If one asked why, whether it was because he felt guilty and did not dare throw them away, or because of some other reason, even he could not say.

Vinny took out the smallest uniform and repeatedly compared it before the mirror.

Sure enough, wearing this outfit was still too plain, right?

Every time he went to see Aesphyra, he wore this same outfit. It gave off a feeling of being very perfunctory, didn’t it? And what people normally wore was also the uniform, so the other party had probably long since gotten tired of seeing it.

How about adding something new?

Once this thought emerged, Vinny skillfully put on that women’s uniform in °• N 𝑜 v 𝑒 l i g h t •° front of the mirror, planted one foot on the stool, gathered open the mouth of the stocking, and pulled the over-the-knee sock on.

Compared to his initial bashfulness, Vinny was far more practiced now.

It could only be said that growth meant breaking away step by step, until everything finally became dull and tasteless.

After putting on the uniform, Vinny looked at himself in the mirror.

How should he put it? Since some time had passed, his hair had grown longer. Now, he no longer needed to wear hair-extension pieces, and could directly use two hair clips to clip out a pair of small twin tails.

However, he really still was not used to doing that. Wearing the hair-extension pieces or not wearing them was not merely a change in hairstyle.

He felt that if he did not even wear the hair-extension pieces, then he would really be too close to a girl.

At the very least, he had to give himself a mental hint: “He only looks like a girl after undergoing this kind of near-complete appearance remolding.”

So, Vinny still put on the hair-extension pieces.

However, because his hair had grown longer, and because his hair-extension pieces were not the kind worn over the head but were instead clipped to the ends of his hair and onto his hair clips as extensions, they made his hair look even longer.

It was still the same shoulder-length twin-tail hairstyle as always, matched with black ribbon hair clips.

For some reason, every time Vinny changed outfits, he would subconsciously choose this hairstyle. Perhaps it was because this was Vanessa’s usual hairstyle, and he himself had a comparatively high acceptance for it.

Very soon, Vinny finished changing. Logically speaking, with Vinny’s foundations, he looked very good even without makeup. However.

Vinny patted his own cheeks and thought it over. Maybe he should still put on a little light makeup?

He kept feeling that going to see her just like this would still be a bit too perfunctory.

Besides, sure enough, a little makeup would still be better. Even if it looked like he had not put any on at all, it would be like wearing a mask to go outside, right?

But he did not know how to put on makeup.

And so, he gritted his teeth, had no choice but to open the door, and walked to the first floor.

“Vinny, were you just—ah, ah?” Hearing Vinny’s footsteps coming downstairs, Shicodale had just raised a head from reading when Vinny’s outfit drew all attention away, leaving Shicodale frozen.

“Vinny, you?” Shicodale looked at Vinny, who was “dressed up to go out,” and for a moment did not know what to say.

“Cough! Um, Dale, could I trouble you with something?” Vinny gave a dry cough, cutting off whatever Shicodale was about to say next.

“Uh, um, of course. What is it?”

“Could you help me put on makeup?” Vinny’s gaze involuntarily drifted to the side.

“Ah??” Shicodale thought it had been misheard.

“Don’t, don’t misunderstand! This young master absolutely does not have any special hobby. This young master is very normal, a very normal boy! Rather, the fact that this young master dares do this proves my courage is far beyond ordinary people’s. I am a true man!” Seeing Shicodale’s hesitant-to-speak expression, Vinny immediately grew anxious, and with one smooth combo, poured the whole set out in one breath.

“Ah?” Shicodale’s large eyes were filled with large question marks. But Shicodale had clearly not said anything yet?

“Vinny, what are you talking about?”

“...No, nothing! Then, let’s go. To your room. You can do my makeup.” Vinny tossed his head and turned to go upstairs. “I’ll wait for you on the second floor.”

“Oh, okay.” Although Shicodale did not understand what was going on, Shicodale still nodded obediently.

Very soon, Vinny, seated before the vanity, waited until Shicodale came in holding cosmetics.

“Light makeup is enough. The kind that’s best if you can’t tell it’s there. Dale, don’t make it too heavy,” Vinny said, appearing rather embarrassed. “Do you understand what I mean?”

“I understand. Actually, with your foundations, Vinny, you don’t need makeup at all. Putting on makeup might instead ruin this pure feeling.” Shicodale looked at the blue-haired girl in the mirror and spoke seriously.

“P-pure?? Stop joking. This young master is only... Ah, fine, forget it. Even if I say it, you won’t understand.”

“Vinny, are you going out to meet someone?” Shicodale suddenly asked without warning.

“What? What are you saying? How could that be possible??” In the mirror, the blue-haired girl’s face instantly flushed halfway red. Like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, she almost sprang up from the stool.

“Uh, um.” Shicodale shrank in slightly. “Then, Vinny is?”

Vinny fell silent.

He really had not thought of an excuse for this.

“Dale, you really... As expected, you still don’t understand.” Vinny took a deep breath and used that deliberately profound tone he always used.

“Ah?” Shicodale’s little mouth opened slightly. Although Vinny had said “you still don’t understand” so many times by now, Shicodale still did not understand why there was something to not understand.

“As an upright man who stands tall between heaven and earth, one naturally has to accomplish things others cannot. Do you understand what I mean?” Vinny put on a solemn look and, just like usual, began earnestly fooling Shicodale.

Of course, this fooling did not only fool Shicodale. To say these words, he first had to believe them himself. Only when he spoke with confidence would these words have a chance of convincing someone else.

“Uh, um, I don’t really understand.” Shicodale weakly told the truth.

“Sigh, let me put it this way. Do you think anyone else would go out wearing this outfit like I do??” Vinny said with an expression of profound scheming.

“Probably... not.” Shicodale thought about it.

That “probably” was unnecessary. Definitely not.

“Then isn’t that exactly it? The more something is something no one dares do, the more, once you do it, it proves how great its meaning is!” In the mirror, the blue-haired girl immediately puffed out her nonexistent chest, her mouth so proudly pursed it looked like a metal hook could hang from it.

“Ahh?” Shicodale froze again.

Although whenever Vinny said the words “you still don’t understand,” Shicodale knew that whatever Vinny said next would most likely be something impossible to understand, this was the episode Shicodale understood least of all.

“But, this?”

“Dale, listen to me. Isn’t the Chosen Tournament coming up soon? I also want to do some special training for myself before that,” Vinny said solemnly. “So do you understand now? I’m doing this for special training!”

Vinny did not lie in this sentence. He really was dressed like this to go do special training, so when he said it, there was no hesitation whatsoever.

“Special training??”

“That’s right. Looking at it this way, it seems meaningless, but in reality, its meaning is extraordinary. First, it trains courage! This will allow me to regain my confidence. Second, it trains the heart. This will let me remain composed under any circumstances. Then! Mm, that’s about it. Do you understand what I mean now?” Vinny felt that if he kept going, he would not be able to make anything else up.

“Mm, I think I probably understand.” Shicodale blinked those large eyes.

Shicodale definitely did not understand, and understood even less why makeup was necessary. But since Vinny was trying so hard to make Shicodale understand, then Shicodale would just look like it was understood.

And, honestly, Vinny really did look extremely good like this.

Shicodale began to get busy.

“Vinny, close your eyes here.”

Vinny cooperated with Shicodale, and very soon, it was finished.

Looking at the bright and moving blue-haired beauty in the mirror, even Vinny himself felt his heart stir.

“Mm. Sorry to trouble you, Dale.” Vinny pursed his lips, and the pure blue-haired beauty in the mirror, with bright eyes and white teeth, also made the same movement.

All right. This was about it.

“Then, I’ll go perform a man’s cultivation first. Dale, you have to work hard too.”

“Mm. Let’s work hard together.” Shicodale agreed, then watched Vinny’s back as he reached the entrance hall.

Even after the door closed and the sound of footsteps gradually faded away, Shicodale still kept staring at the door, not knowing what was being thought.

“Ah! No, no, that won’t do. I can’t do that.” A moment later, Shicodale hurriedly denied the thought that had arisen just now.

No. How could one do something like tailing Vinny??
