”…Welcome. First time seeing your face.”

The one who greeted Rigel was a middle-aged man.

He did not seem suited for reception at all.

”Yeah, first time here. How much?”

”The cheapest course is three silver coins. Payment in advance.”

”Oh? Quite cheap.”

”Yeah. Our place has circumstances… Well, none of your business.”

The middle-aged man said while shrugging his shoulders.

Rigel placed two gold coins on the counter.

”Thank you for your patronage. …Nn? H-hey hey. I said three silver coins, right?”

”First-time service. No need for change. In exchange, prepare a good girl for me, okay?”

”Hehe… Yeah, leave it to me.”

Having realized he was a customer who paid well, the middle-aged man’s mood improved.

Then he guided Rigel to the back.

”But customer, you’re rich.”

”Nn? Ah, well…”

Rigel answered vaguely.

He had money.

That was thanks both to being born as the heir of a Marquis family, and also thanks to the cheat skill [Rape].

—-

”The fact that you don’t know about me means this isn’t a store frequented by nobles, right?”

”Yeah. Of course not. Would a noble come to a store with circumstances like this?”

To Rigel’s question, the middle-aged man answered.

Nobles did visit brothels as well.

Brothels frequented by nobles were cleaner and more beautiful places.

This store was not like that.

”But why do you think that if it were a store frequented by nobles, I would know you?”

”You don’t get it?”

”…Don’t tell me, you are… No, that’s impossible…”

The middle-aged man seemed about to realize Rigel’s identity.

But he did not gain certainty.

”Then, I’ll give you a hint.”

Rigel flipped open his cloak.

There was the uniform of the Royal Academy.

”A-as I thought…!!”

The middle-aged man’s eyes widened.

The existence of the Royal Academy was known by anyone living in the royal capital.

And also that many of the enrolled students were nobles.

There were a very small number of commoners as well, but they were only in an exceptional position.

Moreover, commoners who could enroll in the Royal Academy were often capable people, and from the perspective of ordinary people, either way they could be said to be superiors.

—-

”Well, that’s how it is.”

Rigel grinned.

He had no hobby of flaunting his status to a middle-aged man, but doing this had practical benefits.

Combined with the extra payment he had given earlier, he could expect good service.

”I-I apologize! Young master!!”

The middle-aged man hurriedly lowered his head.

Having the difference in status shown, he could not do anything careless.

If he acted rudely, there was even the possibility of being cut down for insolence.

”Well, fine… More importantly, show me the candidates for the girl. Don’t tell me there’s only one?”

”Yes, of course.”

The middle-aged man lowered his head.

Then he took out a bundle of papers.

(Hmm…)

Rigel flipped through them one after another.

But—

”Hey, there’s not a single face photo. Not even a portrait…”

What was written on the bundle of papers was only the girls’ ages and three sizes.

If high-class magic tools were used, it was possible to take primitive photographs like those on Earth.

Even if that was impossible, many brothels at least prepared simple portraits.

However, this store did not have such things.

Without knowing the faces, he could not even choose.

—-

”Please forgive me. This store has many with circumstances… At the stage of selection, they are set as no face exposure.”

The middle-aged man said apologetically.

Rigel clicked his tongue.

”Tch…! It can’t be helped. Then tell me your recommendation.”

”My recommendation… Let’s see…”

After thinking a little, the middle-aged man selected one girl.

He pointed to one sheet of the bundle of papers Rigel was holding.

”How about this girl? Outstanding figure and looks that aren’t bad.”

”Oh…?”

”She’s a popular girl with five years in this path. She can also handle abnormal play, you know?”

”Hmm…”

Rigel’s tension dropped a little.

He liked rape.

He liked forcing distorted play.

He liked raping virgins.

Although he understood that he could not expect such things the moment he came to a brothel, there was still a degree to it.

Five years of experience meant she was probably in the veteran category as a girl.

She would not hold even a slight sense of resistance toward having relations for money.

Even if abnormal play was forced, it would be accepted without problem.

It was clear that Rigel would not be able to enjoy it.

(Well, it can’t be helped…)

Rigel was about to give up.

But—

The next instant, he noticed.

—-

”Nn? Hey, what’s that bundle of papers you’re holding?”

”Eh? No, this is…”

”Hand it over.”

Rigel snatched the paper from the middle-aged man’s hand.

Then he checked it.

”Roselia…? Three sizes are modest, but she’s young… Recently debuted?”

Rigel confirmed the girl’s profile.

Then he floated a grin.

On the other hand, the middle-aged man was sweating coldly.

”Th-that girl is… certainly a newcomer who only recently debuted! However, she’s still in training… She’s not a girl who can satisfy a young master.”

”No, it’s enough. I like the inexperienced ones.”

”Eh!? No, but…!!”

”I’ll enjoy myself with this girl. I’ve decided that.”

Rigel took out additional gold coins from his pocket and slammed them onto the counter.

”Hie! Th-this much money…?”

”No need for change. Quickly proceed with the preparations.”

Receiving Rigel’s words, the middle-aged man trembled.

Then he opened his mouth with a fearful manner.

”This girl named Roselia has set conditions for the customers she deals with…”

”Conditions?”

Rigel asked back.

In high-class brothels, depending on the customer the girl might refuse.

But would something like that happen in a dingy brothel like this?

To the suspicious Rigel, the middle-aged man continued his words.

—-

”Actually, Roselia is… a student of the Royal Academy.”

”Oh… And so?”

”I explained that this place has many girls with circumstances. She also has circumstances. Something about tuition fees or whatever… She is working at this brothel under the condition that under no circumstances are people related to the Royal Academy or nobles to be connected to her.”

”Oh… I see…”

Rigel thought.

A student of the Royal Academy working at a brothel.

Thinking normally, it was impossible.

Children of nobles or wealthy merchants almost never struggled with money.

Even some commoners, by making use of their talent, had at least some savings from before enrollment.

But there are exceptions to everything.

If they had not saved up much money before enrollment, they might struggle with living funds or tuition fees after enrollment.

If there was leeway in studies, it was possible to do part-time jobs in free time, but…

Jobs that could be done at night after classes ended were limited, and there was also a limit to the money that could be earned in little time.

”Hmm. A female student struggling with money put her hand into night part-time work. It’s a story that can’t be said to be absolutely impossible.”

Rigel said as if understanding.

Of course, whether she was truly a student of the Royal Academy was unknown.

But since the middle-aged man was also saying this, it was thought to be an extremely high possibility.
