Warhammer Divine Throne

Yes, this gigantic device is not the Compass of Time as claimed by the Ancient Saints.

This enormous device is connected to the entire planet’s spirit veins and stores the most ancient and profound secrets of the Ancient Saints!

The ancient instrument activated under the guidance of pure spiritual energy.

”To activate the device of the Ancient Saints, only your unique spiritual energy on this planet can accomplish it.” These were my father’s exact words.

”Clang~ Clang~ Clang~” The ancient device began to activate under Laine’s spiritual energy, with the harsh sound of stone and iron rubbing together.

Even after over ten thousand years, the machines of the Ancient Saints are still operable. Laine continually infused the compass with his light blue spiritual energy, causing the entire apparatus to creak and groan as it began to turn. The dust covering it was blown away, and the energy within the compass seemed to respond to Laine’s spiritual energy.

The device was opened.

At the same time, a strong emotion of sadness and despair flooded into Laine’s mind.

His thoughts were engulfed in an illusion realm.

This was a war.

A terrible war that lasted several million years, nearly annihilating the Ancient Saints.

Eventually, the last of the Ancient Saints, to escape their enemies, discovered this star domain shrouded in eternal subspace storms. The enemies were skeletons fully armed with machinery and terrifying beings engulfed in flames...

Seeing up to this point, Laine felt a headache, immediately snapping out of this state. He realized that his strength was insufficient and could only see this far. His current weak strength could not handle seeing further.

Thus, Laine focused on infusing spiritual energy into the device.

Time passed quickly as Laine relentlessly injected his spiritual energy into the apparatus.

One hour, two hours, three hours...

Until the fifth hour, after almost all his spiritual energy was injected into the device, it finally activated.

It revealed its entirety to Laine, transmitting mysterious information into his mind.

”To the successors, we are the Ancient Saints, the oldest beings of wisdom in the universe. Welcome to your arrival.”

Laine silently supplemented in his mind one of the wisest.

”After experiencing a terrible war, we arrived in this world. This planet and the nearby star domain are covered by an eternal giant subspace storm, and for now, we are safe. But we know it’s only a matter of time before the terrifying subspace predators find us.”

”Therefore, we have hidden all our accumulations within this planet’s device. This includes part of the energy and part of the technology accumulated over tens of millions of years by our race. Although most of it cannot be used on this strange planet, it is the continuation of our race’s culture and technology.”

”Please use them well, successor.”

With the end of these final words, the ancient device finally revealed its full appearance in front of Laine.

Even with mental preparation, truly seeing what lay before him left Laine breathless!

This device holds the most purified cosmic energy that the Ancient Saints collected and stored over tens of thousands of years!

The energy is so powerful that the White Wolf Knight felt incredibly insignificant, like the difference between a grain of sand and the Milky Way Galaxy. Not even facing the White Wolf War God, Yurik, made Laine tremble and excite this much. The White Wolf Knight could sense the energy being incomparably pure and pristine, ready to obey at a mere beckoning of his finger!

Instantly, Laine’s mind was forcibly filled with endless images.

After receiving such a powerful energy, great Laine, the outsider, would become the most powerful spiritualist on the entire continent, no, the whole world, the greatest knight. He would command an unprecedentedly vast army, planting the victorious flag in every corner of the world. Elves and dwarfs would be powerless to stop his march. He would unify the world and claim the title of Emperor Laine. After a bloody conquest, countless hymns and ribbons would blossom for him.

Men would admire and worship him, any human dying for Laine would receive the highest glory, the ultimate honor for a human. Women would infatuate him, his harem would be filled with stunning beauties from various races and types, one city and mountain after another named in his honor. Statues of Emperor Laine would spread across the continent. Chaos would scurry, barely surviving under his onslaught, shivering, and quaking at the mere sound of Laine’s name, heralding the apocalypse.

Not enough! This is still not enough!!! He deserves more! The Golden Throne of his father’s awaits him, vacated. The loyal son would take over the mighty scepter from his father’s hand. He would become the Master of the Galaxy! The King of the Universe!

Crowned and holding a scepter, the proud ”Emperor Laine” sitting on the Golden Throne gazed eagerly at Laine and said: ”Come! Come! Quickly absorb all this energy, come! As long as you claim it! The current me is the future you! This destiny is yours to claim! Move your hands and take it!”

Laine, full of longing, reached out toward his silhouette.

”Yes! Yes! That’s right, this is a mere stretching of a hand for you, come on, let us become one!” ”Emperor Laine” on the Golden Throne beamed, with his big mouth open, flabby tongue, and gleaming gold teeth exposed.

However, the action of the White Wolf Knight halted.

”What’s wrong? Power, beauty, authority, aren’t these all things you desire? Take it! Take it now!” The silhouette worriedly urged as it saw Laine’s motion stopped.

In response, the White Wolf Knight flipped his wrist and raised his middle finger high.

”F**K YOU!” Laine calmly addressed his silhouette: ”I don’t buy this crap!”

Thus, all illusions and deceptions faded away, leaving only the damp, cold basement and the Ancient Saint Relics laid before Laine.

Nothing had changed.

No! It wasn’t unchanged!!! A man in gleaming gold, wearing a full suit of golden armor, sporting black long hair, with an incredibly majestic and awe-inspiring stature, stood behind Laine, his expression devoid of emotion, but eyes filled with boundless wisdom and majesty, reflecting the image of Laine.

Laine immediately turned around, his face filled with shock and delight: ”Father!!!”

The voice responding was ice-cold yet still conveyed an appreciation from its owner to Laine: ”Well done, my son.”

...

In the Far North, Chaos Wasteland.

The Chaos Wasteland is located at the northernmost part of the world, beyond the vast territories of the Empire, beyond the Nord Kingdom, beyond the Tazier Desert and deep into the Kislev Kingdom, where lies the desolate and evil Chaos Wasteland—from the howling winds, you can hear the whispers of the Dark Gods. In the center of this wasteland lies the kingdom of Chaos, where nightmarish terrors continuously emerge. The power of the Chaos Gods here is unparalleled, and only fools or madmen would dare invade their domain.

The polluted Wind of Chaos blows over this cursed soil, where no living being can stay for long in this most terrifying place in the world.

The third Chaos Eternal God Chosen, King of Three Eyes, Chaos Emperor, Lord of the End, the most revered Chaos Chosen Champion Aizhen, was sitting coldly on his Chaos Throne, gazing ahead. He longed to march south immediately, bringing annihilation to all, but the body’s pain and the current troop numbers were insufficient to ensure his goal’s completion.

He must endure further.

At this moment, a flashing light from the south in his perception caught his attention: ”What is that?”

The Wind of Chaos soon carried the Evil God’s whispers, and Aizhen took out a map, quickly locating the approximate position of the fleeting glint.

It’s the largest port city in the west of Nord, Mijordenhaven.

Aizhen stood up from his throne, and his loyal servants immediately heard the supreme order from the great Chaos Eternal God Chosen.

”Order Bireg! Launch an attack... on Mijordenhaven!”
