The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 1530: Chapter 608: Sweet Dates

It wasn’t until almost four in the afternoon that the study door finally opened.

When Zhou Wang leisurely walked out, he immediately sensed that the atmosphere in the living room was off.

The four girls who were originally whispering suddenly stopped almost simultaneously, then looked up at him in unison.

The four pairs of eyes were very complex, filled with various emotions that even Zhou Wang, who was used to all kinds of situations, felt a chill down his spine.

He was genuinely surprised to see that Cui Min’er, who was hiding in the room, had also come out, and judging by the situation, the four girls seemed to have been conversing for a long time. The four half-empty cups of milk tea on the table also indicated that they had spent a lot of time talking...

In the peculiar atmosphere, it was Su Yajing who finally stood up first, jogged over to Zhou Wang, and gently pinched him before saying with a hum:

”Don’t worry, it’s all taken care of.”

”Ah, how did you manage that?”

Zhou Wang looked at Su Yajing in surprise and whispered.

”The process was complicated, and brother, you don’t need to worry about it. A lot of it was private talk among us girls, not something we can share with you... In short, when you feel like you’re on top of the world with everyone around you, just remember to appreciate us.”

Su Yajing looked down, twirling her fingers, with a pouty look.

Zhou Wang realized Su Yajing wasn’t joking with him and immediately raised his head in surprise to glance around. Although the other three girls couldn’t hear what Su Yajing and Zhou Wang were saying, they could guess it to some extent. When Zhou Wang turned to look at them, they each dodged his gaze with a shy expression...

Zhou Wang’s body shook.

Then he was overjoyed.

Although he didn’t know how Su Yajing did the mental work, it was clear that Ranran had directly helped Zhou Wang resolve internal strife and avoid a ”chaotic scene”.

Moreover, this seemed to save Zhou Wang a lot of trouble.

Otherwise, explaining his relationship with Yu Duo, his relationship with Shen Yutong to the other three girls would have been quite troublesome...

Truly, my considerate little cotton jacket.

Zhou Wang almost wanted to hold Su Yajing and kiss her, but he quickly calmed down.

Although he trusted Su Yajing’s coordination abilities and believed in their deep sisterly bond that allowed them to understand each other without drama, Zhou Wang desired more than that.

If the four girls had already reached some tacit understanding, then perhaps going further, like sharing the same bed, wasn’t entirely hopeless?

It must be said that Zhou Wang indeed had ”grown”. Regardless of whether the growth was skewed or not, his ambition had indeed expanded greatly.

Back more than half a year ago, finding any one of these four girls as a partner would have been fortunate for him, let alone catching them all in one swoop.

Historically, those in power who wish to manage people, regardless of how methods vary, can be distilled into two things: stick and carrot.

Zhou Wang had already given them the stick, so to maintain people’s hearts, he could only focus on the ”carrot” now.

In a moment, Zhou Wang had made his decision. He grabbed Su Yajing’s wrist, ”Come with me.”

He said and led her back to the study.

Initially, Su Yajing thought Zhou Wang was feeling triumphant and wanted to bring her for some daytime revelry, but upon seeing the destination was the study, she realized she might have misunderstood.

Under the curious gaze of the other three girls, Zhou Wang and Su Yajing entered the study one after the other. Zhou Wang didn’t completely close the door, leaving a small gap, seemingly to demonstrate their innocence.

...

”Brother, what’s up?”

After Zhou Wang sat in the chair, Su Yajing naturally wrapped her arms around his neck and followed him sitting down, her soft and full hips pressing down on Zhou Wang’s thighs.

Zhou Wang originally intended for Su Yajing to sit opposite, but then reconsidered and decided against it. Instead, he hugged Su Yajing’s smooth waist beneath her hollow strap top and pondered for a moment before saying:

”You’ve been at the hotel for a while now. How do you feel?”

”It’s quite... fulfilling.”

Su Yajing thought for a moment and said, ”Since I was young, I’ve been following my aunt, who’s always been in the lodging business. So I might have a natural affinity for this industry. Although our family guesthouse is entirely different from a five-star hotel, there are still many commonalities...”

”President Qu is very considerate, almost allowing me to rotate through all the hotel’s departments. I feel I’ve learned a lot during this time...”

”Like what?”

Hearing Su Yajing say this, Zhou Wang felt a bit of a test coming on.

”For instance, I never knew before that the guest rooms in a large hotel aren’t actually the main source of profit. Instead, they’re just the basic setup. The real money comes from banquet and conference revenue. Oh, the profits from additional projects like the spa center are also considerable...”

Upon hearing this, Zhou Wang realized Su Yajing wasn’t being perfunctory, and she truly had learned a lot during this period.

Indeed, for any star-rated hotel, the guest rooms, which should be a basic configuration, are not the main focus of profit.

Weddings, company annual meetings, award ceremonies, major social events, training, seminars, and other activities are the real revenue drivers for a star-rated hotel.

Additionally, facilities like spa centers, swimming, and fitness also have very high profit margins.

But some things can’t be seen just from the books. If one just looks at the turnover, surely the rooms department has the largest turnover. This involves knowledge related to accounting and taxation. If Su Yajing noticed these things on her own, it shows she indeed studied very diligently.
