The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 1511: Chapter 598: BP Concert (Part 2)

In the past, I didn’t have money. Once I had it, my mentality changed, and I lost interest in things that were easily accessible. Today circumstances were special; I heard BlackPink’s live performance is quite intense... Zhou Wang just needs some intensity right now.

...

”Boss, this way to the VIP passage... The staff told me that after the performance, there’s a chance to go backstage for photos and close interactions with idols.”

Xiao Wang led the way in front and then turned back to speak quietly.

In his impression, his boss shouldn’t be into celebrities, but maybe Zhou Wang hadn’t shown it before.

Since people made a point to emphasize the ”privileges” of these internal tickets, Xiao Wang naturally felt it necessary to inform Zhou Wang.

Oh, you can meet them directly?

Zhou Wang felt a bit of novelty.

Although given his current wealth, people from the entertainment world no longer held any halo for him, he still held some special sentiments toward BlackPink, and this kind of thing could excite his anticipation.

Following the VIP passage without a queue, Zhou Wang entered the venue and took a look at the entrance.

Not bad, not as big as he imagined...

But considering Ao Island’s small area, building a large venue accommodating up to sixteen thousand people is already quite challenging.

Most likely, more people would prefer building it into a casino.

The VIP area was all around the T-shaped stage. The ticket Qiu Zeyu gave to Zhou Wang naturally was in the best VIP1 section, located on the left side of the T-stage, less than a meter away from the stage’s edge, also known as the ”interaction zone.”

Stars on the T-stage only need to bend down and extend their hands to interact intimately with the audience in this area.

Guided by the staff, Zhou Wang sat down in the front row, while Xiao Wang sat on the other side of Zhou Wang.

Sitting to Zhou Wang’s left was a couple who looked young, both dressed fashionably. The girl had BlackPink’s support stickers on her face and was taking selfies with her phone, but from Zhou Wang’s viewpoint, it appeared that she intentionally avoided including the boy in her shots.

However, the boy seemed somewhat absent-minded and didn’t notice the girl’s little actions.

At this point, the girl temporarily left her seat under the pretense of finding a good angle, and the boy quickly took out his phone and made a call.

”Hey, Mom, did you send the money... What, I have to wait till tomorrow? But I need it tonight... You need to think of something, or I’ll be sleeping on the street... I can’t help it, the school insists on researching here at Ao Island; the costs here are too high...”

The boy murmured into the phone, speaking urgently.

Being close enough, Zhou Wang caught snippets of the conversation. Having been this irresponsible age himself, he instantly understood, casting a glance at the boy with a mix of sympathy and disdain.

The girl returned from taking photos and offhandedly asked, ”Zile, did you book the hotel? Where are we staying tonight?”

”I’m booking now... Hey, Yiyi, can we just book one room... Well, don’t worry, I’ll book a standard room; I didn’t mean anything else.”

”That’s not okay.”

The girl immediately frowned and said, ”Zile, I’m only giving you the chance to go to BlackPink’s world tour with me because you also like them. We’re not even boyfriend and girlfriend, how can we stay together? Forget it; since you’re unreliable, I’ll book a hotel and stay by myself.”

Seeing the girl looking angry, the boy promptly tried to comfort her.

When Zhou Wang heard the girl named Yiyi, he felt a slight sense of loss.

Speaking of which, he hadn’t heard about Cheng Yiyi for a long time, and he wondered how that rebellious and vain girl was doing now.

At this moment, as the clock pointed to half-past eight, the venue’s lights suddenly dimmed.

The fans, very familiar with this opening scene, instantly screamed, with the nearby girl named Yiyi being especially enthusiastic, making Zhou Wang feel a bit irritated.

The boy waved his hands frantically, seeming to share the sentiment sensibly, but Zhou Wang knew he was probably pretending.

Thud!

As the lights brightened again, four styled girls appeared at the center of the stage; their S-shaped body curves, luxurious clothing styles, and the exquisite yet cool makeup instantly triggered screams from the whole venue.

Zhou Wang, observing these four girls closely, couldn’t help but nod slightly.

Stars are stars; they have been tested by countless HD cameras, and when you meet them in real life, the sense of astonishment becomes quite tangible.

Honestly, through the screen, Zhou Wang previously thought Lisa and Jin Zhixiu were better looking, fitting his aesthetic.

Needless to say about Lisa, even though she had minor adjustments, her foundation was excellent, a ”Barbie face” indeed.

Jin Zhixiu was once hailed as one of Korea’s top three beauty peaks among four girl groups there, a perfectly standard Korean beauty, but because she lacks distinct features, she isn’t liked by many people.

Yet Zhou Wang felt being sufficiently pretty was already an advantage.

The remaining two, one known as the ”Chanel in human form” Jenny, and the other called the ”wild rose of Australia,” Rose, Zhou Wang didn’t find them particularly appealing before, but upon closer look now, realized they weren’t bad in appearance either.

Rose had dyed her hair blonde and possessed extremely striking snow-white skin, her demeanor leaning toward a ”noble princess” vibe.

Jenny had a typical cat-like face, not considered perfect just in terms of features, but the slight child-like appearance combined with the cool makeup created a strong contrast, and now Zhou Wang noticed her figure was the best among the four girls.

Angular shoulders, an ant waist, and a pair of sensuous, long legs... very nice.

Of course, when purely comparing looks, Zhou Wang thought the Italo-French mixed girl who accompanied him earlier was also quite good, perhaps even slightly better than the four girls from a certain angle.

But... these four girls carried the ”superstar” halo.

Beauty, figure, and aura are the three dimensions to judge women, where the most crucial distinguishing factor between ordinary and top beauty is the ”aura.”

It’s invisible and intangible, but it indeed forms part of our external disposition, perhaps even the most crucial part... This is similar for men too.

In Zhou Wang’s view, the reason BlackPink’s four girls were more attractive than the Italo-French mix was because of the long-accumulated aura they carried.

If this wasn’t valued, those top-tier global brands wouldn’t choose them as ambassadors.

Then, as the rhythmical drum intro began, the four girls opened their mouths, immediately triggering a large sing-along.

”Yeahyeahyeah, BlackPink in your area...”

A hugely iconic ”Kill this Love,” Zhou Wang could even hum along a few lines.

Must say, Zhou Wang found the atmosphere at his first concert rather nice; although the people around him were noisy, wrapped in this environment, he felt the halo’s effect further diminished.

Simply swaying and singing could release all sorts of emotions.

The only thing that puzzled Zhou Wang was, although the atmosphere seemed explosive, this vitality primarily came from the surrounding audience’s hysterical shouting and screeching.

The four girls on stage didn’t move much; their jumps were not in sync, carrying a hint of laziness. Overall, it was far from the energetic dance clips Zhou Wang had seen in short videos.

As another song ended, during BlackPink’s brief intermission to change outfits, Zhou Wang suddenly heard a dispute nearby.

He turned his head in surprise and saw the girl named Yiyi arguing with two other girls in the row behind her, her male companion looking somewhat lost by her side.

”What, you little cheapo, did I say anything wrong? Discrimination is discrimination... if you’d seen them perform abroad, you’d know they’re completely slacking today!”

One girl sneered, pointing at Yiyi and cursing.

”You’re bullshitting, Jenny tweeted today saying she’s not in a good state; it’s a health issue, not intentional!”

Yiyi screamed back at the two girls trying to rebut.

”Eh, don’t fool around. She was twisting like a pretzel at the Europe concert two days ago, and when here at Ao Island, she turns into a noodle. What, did her period just happen to start today?”

”Exactly, whether it’s ’clothes too tight,’ ’shoes too high,’ or ’going lazy style’ today, they always have various reasons when performing in Huaxia. Only a dumbass, brainless fan like you would believe...”
