The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 1020: Chapter 381: Reflection and Farewell

In the following two days, Zhou Wang mainly commuted between Wanliu Academy, Yihua Alley, and the newly established Wangzhou Pharmaceutical, forming a triangle.

On this side with my senior, having bought the house and established a personal art studio, there were still many trivial matters to handle after its announcement.

The most troublesome aspect was the studio’s future operations, or rather, it also involved my senior’s future development path.

Fortunately, with the help of Young Master Qiu, he directly called Miss Wang, and through her connections, found a seasoned agent within the capital circle who would be specifically responsible for the studio’s daily operations.

”Mr. Zhou, you really don’t plan to let Miss Jiang debut through the entertainment industry? Miss Jiang’s temperament and appearance are the most unique I’ve ever seen, and she’s a rare cool type in the industry. I’m confident in getting her to domestic top-tier status in the shortest time...”

During the discussions, Zhou Wang insisted that Jiang Mo should not enter the entertainment industry. Although the agent named Linda didn’t understand, she knew the kind of person Young Master Qiu was, and from the details of his interaction with Zhou Wang, she could see the importance Young Master Qiu placed on Zhou Wang, even showing a hint of respect...

So she didn’t argue, she just nodded in agreement honestly.

If not the entertainment industry, then it’s purely the art path. Linda had prepared for difficulty, but after understanding Jiang Mo’s situation in detail, she realized why Zhou Wang was so confident.

Money was secondary; primarily, it was about Miss Jiang already having laid a very solid foundation.

She had stage performances at the Great Hall, was personally recommended by the Central Music College head for the Cultural Troupe’s tour, and also gained fame online...

Linda then realized that the resources Jiang Mo had were probably out of reach for the average person, indeed allowing one to take an unconventional path.

”Mr. Zhou, with your strong support, I am confident in cultivating Miss Jiang into an art star on par with Teacher Yang Liping, and maybe even make her an international figure in the future...”

Linda naturally attributed everything to Zhou Wang, gaining a bit of reverence for the mysterious young tycoon in her eyes, while also becoming quite excited.

”Everything should be based on Jiang Mo’s own wishes. My requirements for you are very lenient, with only one condition: do not force her to do anything she doesn’t like.”

Zhou Wang smiled faintly and finally stated his requirement.

After Linda nodded, Zhou Wang continued, ”Regarding your compensation, I heard from Miss Wang that your previous annual comprehensive salary was around 1.5 million. I’ll increase it a bit for you, with an annual salary tentatively set at 2 million, and for the rest like bonuses and benefits, you will have to strive for them yourself.”

”Thank you, Mr. Zhou!”

Linda promptly showed her excitement and thanked Zhou Wang.

Many people believe that celebrity agents earn high incomes, but that’s not the whole story.

Agents vary greatly, from the lowest level of executives to publicity agents, business agents, full-contract agents, and so on.

The worst agents make incomes not far off from ordinary workers, with monthly salaries ranging from five to ten thousand.

Those with annual incomes in the hundreds of thousands are already considered senior agents. Linda has previously managed many top-tier celebrities, making her one of the top figures in the industry, with a legitimate annual salary in seven figures.

Of course, that doesn’t include grey income; some with more skills can earn eight figures a year, which isn’t surprising. Linda might not be that exaggerated, but she can still make three to five million a year, which is why she wasn’t as thrilled inside.

Zhou Wang noticed she wasn’t overly happy, so he smiled and took a call in front of her.

”Hello, Miss Li, it’s me... you mentioned Linda? Hmm, with Li Kun’s introduction, I’ve met her... oh, there’s such a thing?”

Zhou Wang glanced at the puzzled Linda, switched to speakerphone, and the unique clear voice of Miss Li immediately came through from the other end of the call.

”...Linda previously worked under Mr. Ren. She’s lucky to be with you, Mr. Zhou. Rest assured, if you have any doubts later, you can find me and Mr. Ren. We also know many gold medal agents, who would gladly serve you, Mr. Zhou...”

Beside them, Miss Wang, who hadn’t spoken much the whole time, looked at Linda’s suddenly pale face and couldn’t help but show a look of pity in her eyes.

Linda apparently did not yet fully grasp the extent of Zhou Wang’s influence.

Miss Li and Mr. Ren are authoritative figures in the Beijing Circle’s entertainment sector; judging from Miss Li’s attitude towards Zhou Wang, obviously, with just a word from Zhou Wang, Linda would never be able to survive in this industry again.

This wasn’t a threat, but a subtle warning, and also a way for Zhou Wang to preemptively ensure there wouldn’t be any future problems.

As expected, after this call, Linda’s attitude shifted again. Even if she had any small plans before, they were completely quashed from this point on.

Besides Linda, the studio for Jiang Mo obviously needed some permanent staff. Initially, Zhou Wang wanted to help Jiang Mo arrange this, but Jiang Mo said she already found some people.

Zhou Wang was puzzled at first, until Jiang Mo’s two friends from the Central Music Band showed up - the ones Zhou Wang had met before: Wang Ying, Cindy, and Brother Jie. Only then did Zhou Wang understand.

After what happened last time, Wang Ying, who was once a close friend and classmate of Jiang Mo, unknowingly became more distant. But no matter what, in terms of familiarity, they were indeed suitable candidates, so Zhou Wang didn’t interfere further.
