Necromancer: I Am A Disaster

Outside the teleportation formation, Lin Moyu once again encountered Feng Ziliu and his group.

Lin Moyu gave a slight salute, “Thank you for telling me about Gao Yang. If you ever need help in the future, don’t hesitate to find me.”

Feng Ziliu quickly waved his hands, “No, no, I wouldn’t dare.”

The group stood nervously. After all, this wasn’t just anyone; it was a godly general.

Lin Moyu was the youngest godly general in human history, and held power rivaling God-level beings, despite being only level 53.

For ordinary class users, exchanging even a few words with someone of his status was a rare honor.

Lin Moyu could sense their discomfort, saying calmly, “There’s no need to dwell on status. We’re all class users of the human race, sharing the same goal. That makes us comrades.”

Feng Ziliu nodded earnestly, trying to steady his nerves, “Thank you, Godly General Lin. May I ask, how is your friend now?”

“He’s fine.”

“That’s good to hear. We’ll head back to the academy now.” Feng Ziliu said.

Lin Moyu nodded, “Once you’re back, just follow the academy’s instructions. Don’t overthink it. You’ll be fine.”

As he walked away, the group stood in a daze.

Someone whispered, “Boss, what did Godly General Lin mean by that?”

“Yeah, it felt like he knows something.”

“Is the academy calling us back because something happened?”

Feng Ziliu had also caught the undertone in Lin Moyu’s words, “Don’t dwell on it. Let’s just do as Godly General Lin said and follow the academy’s instructions when we get back. The academy wouldn’t do anything to harm us, after all.”

Lin Moyu knew what awaited them: surveillance, limited freedom, at least for a while.

But it was necessary. The empire had to contain the spread of the Soul-Devouring Beasts.

These creatures couldn’t be detected or stopped by ordinary people, or even low-level class users.

The only viable strategy was large-scale containment. There was no better option.

Once the Soul Fusion Grand Formation was completed, restrictions would be lifted.

Outside the city, the bitter wind sliced through the air like blades. It was a stark contrast to the relative calm within the walls.

A path from the city gate led straight toward Kunlun Mountain, home to numerous secret realms and dungeons of varying levels.

Class users of all levels gathered here—some returning from dungeons or secret realms, others just setting out.

The area buzzed with activity.

Located on the northwest border of the Shenxia Empire, Kunlun Mountain bordered several other nations.

Especially at the main peak, clashes with foreign class users weren’t uncommon.

But the Shenxia Empire’s strength usually forced them to back down.

Clad in plain clothing that made him resemble a livelihood class user, Lin Moyu traveled alone.

He stood out quite a bit, with his noble bearing, aloof demeanor, and restrained aura drawing attention.

He ignored the stares, his thoughts with Gao Yang.

Before setting out, he had visited the headmaster of Xiajing Academy, hoping to secure special admission for his friend.

As the youngest godly general with boundless potential, and backed by three top-tier God-level teachers, Lin Moyu’s words carried immense weight.

If he had vouched for a pig instead, the headmaster might have hesitated, but only slightly.

So, Gao Yang’s admission to Xiajing Academy was a done deal.

Lin Moyu even transferred 10,000 points to him for living expenses. It wasn’t a lavish sum, but more than enough for his use.

Lin Moyu believed that with Gao Yang’s outgoing and goofy personality, he’d fit in just fine.

Snow began to fall as he entered Kunlun Mountain, and the temperature dropped sharply.

Many lower-level class users began to struggle, bundling up in thick coats.

Only Knights and Warriors in heavy armor withstood the cold with their strong physique. Some Mages had already erected magical shields.

At this moment, Lin Moyu stood out even more.

People began whispering, casting curious glances his way.

”What’s his level? I can’t tell.”

”Judging by his outfit, he looks like a livelihood class user. What’s he doing here?”

”Livelihood classes aren’t built for combat. If he runs into monsters, won’t he be in trouble?”

”I think he’s a Herbalist.”

”Right! Herbalists are known to find rare herbs.”

”Exactly. They adapt to extreme environments and can even sense danger in advance.”

Lin Moyu listened, amused. It really did seem like he was a Herbalist.

That class did exist—he had read about it.

Though rare, Herbalists were far from insignificant.

Not only could they traverse harsh environments, they often ventured into secret realms to gather herbs, their instincts sharp enough to avoid danger.

Their finds were crucial to Concocters.

In one famous case, a top-tier Herbalist entered a level 85 secret realm and discovered a hidden sub-realm. From it, he retrieved a flower.

The flower caught the attention, of a God-level Concocter, who paid an astronomical sum for it.

The God-level Concocter used the flower to create an extraordinary potion, one that allowed God-level class users to undergo class sublimation.

This miraculous potion became known as the God-Level Sublimation Elixir.

Unfortunately, it was only ever made once in recorded history. Though the formula survived, the flower itself was never found again.

Lin Moyu reflected on what he’d read, marveling at the world’s wonders.

He believed miracles were possible, like a potion or skill that could bring the dead back to life.

After all, he had neutralized the Putrid Corpse Poison, something even the mighty Antares deemed incurable.

Miracles had always existed; people simply hadn’t discovered them yet.

The smooth path ahead ended, revealing the entrance to a secret realm.

It was only level 30—a low-level secret realm—and the closest one to Kun City on Kunlun Mountains.

A stone stele stood by the entrance. When infused with spirit force, it displayed detailed information about the secret realm.

The secret realm had been thoroughly explored, and now served more as a tourist spot.

Its treasures had long been taken, and visitors came mostly to admire the landscape.

Its most famous feature was the Ice Volcano, where fire and ice coexisted in a breathtaking display.

“A great place for a romantic getaway.”

”Maybe I can bring Yiyi here sometime.”

Since he and Ning Yiyi had met and fallen in love, they had spent more time apart than together.

He resolved that when time allowed, he would take her traveling.

Ning Yiyi had once told him she wanted to see the whole world—and not just the Human World.

She longed to visit the Abyss, the Dragonkind World, the Immemorial Battlefield, the Putrid Corpse Land.

Her curiosity knew no bounds.

Lin Moyu had promised to take her everywhere.

He decided to save the secret realm—and its beauty—for a future trip with Ning Yiyi.

Skirting the entrance, he continued deeper into Kunlun Mountain.

Snow and wind grew fiercer, blurring his vision.

The Kunlun Divine Palace dungeon lay further ahead, at the foot of the main peak. At his current pace, he would reach it in an hour.

As he advanced, the number of class users thinned.

“Brother, aren’t you cold?”

A deep voice called out. A Knight in heavy armor approached—part of a twelve-person party, clearly headed for the Kunlun Divine Palace.

Lin Moyu noticed the Knight resembled Jialan Lieyang, like a younger version of him.

A quick glance at the emblem confirmed it: they were members of the Jialan Guild.

“What a coincidence.” Lin Moyu mused.

Then he asked aloud, “What’s your relationship to Jialan Lieyang and Jialan Yeyu?”
