Necromancer: I Am A Disaster

Shu Han was as elegant as ever, wearing a faint smile and exuding noble grace.

She came from a prestigious family. Her grandfather was the Medicine God, the only person in the human race who had reached God-level as a Concocter.

Her brother was also remarkable: the vice-dean of Xiajing Academy’s Concocter Institute and a genius Concocter in his own right.

He stood a strong chance of becoming the second Medicine God.

With such a family, Shu Han’s status was undeniably elite.

Lin Moyu had always been curious why someone of her stature would bother acting as a guide. She surely had no shortage of merit points.

Perhaps she was doing it for fun.

Shu Han never explained, and Lin Moyu never pressed.

“Junior Lin, you’re in the spotlight again.” Shu Han said with a teasing smile, her tone light, free of any annoyance.

Whatever awkwardness remained from their last encounter with the Medicine God had long since faded.

Lin Moyu wasn’t the type to hold grudges.

He returned the greeting, “Hello, Senior Shu. Out on a mission again?”

Shu Han smiled, “Yes. Do you need a guide, Junior Lin?”

Her tone was casual. Lin Moyu replied just as easily, “Actually, yes. I’ve got a question.”

“I’m looking for a good dungeon to level grind. Any recommendations?”

Shu Han glanced at him thoughtfully, “Level 53 already? After level 50, the pace really slows down.”

“You’ll need a dungeon with a high monster count and low complexity.”

“As for loot quality... that’s secondary.”

Her analysis aligned perfectly with his own thoughts. Lin Moyu couldn’t help but be impressed.

Somehow, she knew he was level 53, even though he couldn’t discern her level or class without using Detection.

That could only mean her level was significantly higher—at least 10 levels ahead.

Yet she had never mentioned it.

Out of respect for their friendship, Lin Moyu never asked.

After going over his requirements, Shu Han concluded, “Given your needs, there’s no suitable dungeon in the Dungeon Hall.”

Lin Moyu felt a mix of amusement and helplessness.

No suitable dungeon? Out of the hundreds in the Dungeon Hall?

His requirements didn’t seem that demanding.

But according to Shu Han’s explanation, most dungeons in the Dungeon Hall prioritized equipment over EXP.

Many included trials designed by Xiajing Academy’s professors, similarly focusing more on equipment than EXP.

For most students, good equipment was more valuable than EXP.

After all, levels could be gained gradually over time, but good equipment was rare and difficult to obtain.

But Lin Moyu was the opposite. He wanted EXP. Equipment didn’t matter to him.

Then Shu Han added, “There’s no fitting dungeon in the Dungeon Hall... but there is one outside.”

Lin Moyu listened quietly.

Shu Han continued, “In the northwest of the Shenxia Empire lies the Kunlun Mountain. There’s a unique dungeon there—the Kunlun Divine Palace.”

“You’ve heard of it, haven’t you, Junior Lin?”

Lin Moyu nodded, “Yes. The three-stage dungeon.”

The Kunlun Divine Palace was a renowned dungeon, deeply significant to class users.

Before awakening his class, Lin Moyu had read about it in textbooks.

What made it unique were its three stages, located at the foot, waist, and summit of Kunlun Mountain. ɴᴇᴡ ɴᴏᴠᴇʟ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀs ᴀʀᴇ ᴘᴜʙʟɪsʜᴇᴅ ᴏɴ novel·fire.net

Each stage was a separate dungeon, and one could only advance by clearing the previous one.

Shu Han explained, “The foot-stage is level 55, the waist-stage is level 65, and the summit-stage is level 75. It’s a smooth progression. The Kunlun dungeons are packed with monsters and rich in EXP; perfect for someone like you.”

Her voice lowered as she leaned closer, lips near Lin Moyu’s ear, “Actually, behind the summit-stage, there’s a hidden dungeon.”

“It corresponds to God-level. The entry requirements are strict, so ordinary people can’t access it.”

Lin Moyu was stunned. He had never heard about a hidden dungeon.

Perhaps only great families knew of its existence.

The world held many secrets beyond the reach of the average person.

Shu Han’s breath carried a faint orchid scent, “Junior Lin, I believe you can meet the requirements.”

Lin Moyu also lowered his voice, “What are they?”

“It’s actually quite simple: just score 100 points in each of the first three stages of the dungeon.”

“The rating is based on factors like clear time, monster kill efficiency, and the number of teammates.”

“So this dungeon is perfect for you, Junior Lin.”

She added playfully, blowing lightly on his ear. The warm breath made it tingle.

Her face flushed. This was likely her first time teasing someone like that.

Lin Moyu nodded, “Thank you, Senior.”

Shu Han’s willingness to share this information was a clear sign of trust.

It wasn’t about the value of the information—it was the trust behind it that mattered.

Then, Lin Moyu brought out two crystal bottles of Venomous Flood Dragon’s Spinal Fluid, each glowing softly like flawless gems.

“Senior Shu, this is for Medicine God.”

Shu Han blinked in surprise, “What is it?”

“The spinal fluid of a level 85 world rank boss. It can neutralize most poisons. Have Medicine God try refining it into a potion. Maybe it’ll counter the Putrid Corpse Poison.”

At the mention of a level 85 world rank boss, Shu Han instantly understood its rarity and value.

But instead of refusing, she smiled, “Then there’s no need for you to pay the 500 points. Let’s call it even.”

Lin Moyu returned the smile, “Sure.”

The Kunlun Mountain stood at the border of the Shenxia Empire, perpetually blanketed in snow.

The higher one ascended, the more unforgiving the wind and snow became.

At the mountain’s base lay Kun City, a small border city that thrived with unusual liveliness, as many class users heading to the Kunlun Divine Palace dungeon would first stop there.

Especially at night, the city buzzed with activity as class users gathered to chat and unwind.

Its streets glowed with bright lights, rivaling even some of the empire’s great cities.

The city’s teleportation formation flickered to life, and Lin Moyu stepped out.

A sharp wind struck him, but he barely noticed.

Class users generally didn’t feel discomfort from cold or heat.

Though the temperature hovered near 0°C, Lin Moyu wore only casual clothing.

His military badge had been removed. Walking through the lively streets, he looked distinctly different from the other class users.

Most combat class users wore their standard gear.

Only livelihood class users—those who didn’t fight—dressed like Lin Moyu. To the average passerby, he seemed to be one of them.

He quietly took in the vibrant surroundings.

Shops of all kinds lined the streets: general stores, class user specialty shops, bars, and restaurants.

Lin Moyu felt a bit out of place.

Since awakening his class, Lin Moyu had done little but fight. Leisure was a rare luxury.

Though he had visited several cities, he had never taken time to explore them.

The everyday life of ordinary class users felt distant, almost foreign.

By the time he arrived, night had already fallen. Many class users had returned from expeditions and now gathered near the city gate, feasting on meat and drinking heartily.

The restaurants and bars were bustling with noise and warmth.

From the city, the silhouette of Kunlun Mountain loomed in the distance.

It soared 10,000 meters into the sky and stretched thousands of kilometers, making it one of the largest mountain ranges in the Human World.

Hidden within its snowy expanse were numerous dungeons and secret realms, the most famous being the Kunlun Divine Palace dungeon.

Above its waist, the mountain was shrouded in clouds and mist, concealing its full majesty from view.

To truly grasp its scale, one had to approach it in person.

Lin Moyu felt incredibly small before the Kunlun Mountain, sensing a strange, familiar aura emanated from it.

He stared for a long time, then muttered to himself, “God aura…”

He sensed it clearly now—there was a God on the mountain. Or at least, there had been one.

Just then, a voice sounded beside him: “Little Brother, awestruck by Kunlun Mountain’s majesty?”
