Wilderness (Special Base)

Jeremy Night went around the area, but he didn’t find any corrupted beasts, let alone Tier-6 Stone Foxes. Finally, he decided to get help from Stella.

She was ready to help. After hearing the request from Jeremy Night, she sprang into action. She used her mental power to scan the vast surroundings.

Her mental power covered the green cover and open patches of land. It didn’t take long for corrupted beasts to appear-including higher-tier beasts.

But none of them were Stone Foxes. She didn’t bother with the other beasts. Jeremy Night was resting under a tree. He knew Stella was working.

She would definitely find something. At the same time, he was using his inner healing method internally to recover. The shade from the big tree was providing a cooling effect.

Stella scanned the surrounding miles, but she didn’t find any Stone Foxes. She thought Jeremy Night was wasting time here.

[Jeremy, you are wasting time here. There are no Stone Foxes in the surrounding miles. You have to travel again. Go a little deeper.]

Jeremy heard Stella’s voice. He understood the whole picture. He stood up from the rock and thanked Stella.

He collected his thoughts. Then, he began his journey again. He went in a straight direction. Stella didn’t absorb natural energy this time.

This time, she focused on helping Jeremy Night.

Time passed.

Jeremy covered a couple of hundred meters. The place was not that dense with green cover, so he could walk further with ease.

At the same time, he used his eye power to scan the place. Corrupted beasts were not nearby. He thought he was not going to find a Stone Fox today.

[There is a Tier-6 Stone Fox ahead. Let me check whether it’s in a group or not.]

After saying that, Stella began to cover more ground. She didn’t find any other Stone Foxes, but this one was resting under a tree.

Stella observed the beast first. The male Stone Fox had a massive height of over 5 meters. The eyes of the beast glowed with blood-red light. Even its mouth had a sharp row of teeth over an inch long.

The tail of the beast was fluffy and large. The beast looked bulky and menacing. It could tear apart other corrupted beasts.

Its body looked like it was made of stone. Nothing could break the defense of the beast.

Suddenly, the massive beast sensed something. The beast stood up from the spot. A massive pressure erupted from its body.

Boom!

The Tier-6 coercion overturned the ground. It swept away the green cover and surrounding earth.

[The Stone Fox has sensed you. It’s time to fight.]

Hearing that, Jeremy unsheathed the blade and covered it in starlight power. Next, he used his eye power.

Like Stella said, he spotted the beast. It was a massive beast over 5 meters in size. Jeremy Night held the blade in his hand.

Boom!

Jeremy Night used his movement method. Energy force burst forth from his feet, and his body was propelled forward.

Roar!

The Stone Fox spotted a Human Beast Tamer. When the beast saw that the human was charging at it, it was shocked.

The fox’s eyes flashed with cunning. It saw through the strength of the human, knowing that the human was only a Tier-3 Beast Tamer.

The beast was stunned again. It wondered what the Tier-3 Human Beast Tamer was doing.

The beast didn’t stop thinking; its cunning worked. It saw that the pressure released from its body didn’t affect the Human Beast Tamer.

The Tier-6 Stone Fox felt something was wrong. It quickly thought it must be some ploy of the Human Beast Tamer to trick it.

Shriek!

The Stone Fox let out a loud shriek. The sound from the beast could affect anyone-especially if the beast or human was lower than Tier-6.

They would definitely be affected by the beast. The pressure once again struck Jeremy Night.

Boom!

Jeremy Night, who was moving using the movement method, faced the pressure. He felt uncomfortable.

But the pressure was nowhere near that of Tier-7 or Tier-8 Corrupted Beasts.

Just then, Stella used her power to cancel out the pressure as well. The next second, Jeremy Night’s speed increased again.

Swoosh!

In a flash, the distance between them closed.

The Tier-6 Stone Fox was stunned again. It didn’t expect the Human Beast Tamer to run this freely.

The Tier-6 Stone Fox felt something was even more amiss. If it didn’t kill the human, it could encounter a huge problem.

Boom!

The Stone Fox attacked again. It swept its huge claws at the Human Beast Tamer.

As the claws moved through the air, they created an air-tearing sound. If the claws were to land on the human, his body would be sliced into pieces.

The Tier-6 Stone Fox was already imagining the outcome.

Clang!

Jeremy Night slashed his blade at the claws. Both came into contact with each other. Next, a metallic noise sounded.

The blade didn’t stop. It cut further inside and cleaved one of the claws in two. The broken part fell down to the ground.

Swoosh!

Using the opportunity, he moved to the flank. Then, he slashed at the body of the beast. Unlike other beasts, the body of this beast looked like stone.

Cut!

The starlight-filled blade came in contact with the rock-like skin. The next second, the defense was broken. The blade swept further inside.

Because of the length of the blade, he couldn’t do more damage to the massive body of the beast. He needed more moves to kill it.

Jeremy Night withdrew the blade as he saw the long tail coming at him. As the blade came out, he jumped backward to create more distance.

A 50-meter gap was formed. The beast let out a roar.

The Stone Fox didn’t expect to receive a blade injury. Not even a drop of blood dripped from the wound, but the blade cut was open and visible.

Seeing that, Jeremy Night was shocked. He didn’t know what was going on right now. He had been clear about the extent of the injury.
