STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer

The following day,

Jeremy Night went to the training facility. Last time he was here, he had faced a challenge from Romeo Barrett.

Right now, upon seeing him, no one troubled him. He then entered one of the training rooms. He was going to practice the explosive steps.

Meanwhile,

The other students were taken aback. They were all excited about the challenge duel. Jeremy Night’s statedndition had spoiled their plans.

Now, the strong department representatives have left the university. The remaining ones were not daring to challenge Jeremy Night.

So theyuld only mind their business right now.

Inside the training room, Jeremy’s eyes flickered. He was about to practice the explosive steps, but heuldn’t help but think of his main goal.

Like everyone else, he had his own plan as well. He wanted to improve hismbat strength.

If heuld kill a Tier-4 Beast, then it would be his best achievement. But he knew that heuld kill a Tier-3 Beast thanks to the help of Starlight energy.

But if he wanted to injure a Tier-4 Beast relying on his pure katana sword skills, it would be a difficult task. The scales and defense of Corrupted Beasts were strong.

But there was a way. Heuld learn about their weaknesses. If heuld identify their weaknesses and target them, then he would be able to slay a Tier-4 Beast without relying on Starlight.

His eyes flashed with a gleam thinking about it. Then he decided to visit the library tomorrow.

After pushing down these thoughts, he started practicing the explosive steps. He began by running the technique. The natural energy entered his body. He started guiding the energy to his legs.

He then decided to move. As he took a step forward, a powerful force generated beneath his feet.

Swoosh!

The next snd, he disappeared from the spot. In a flash, he appeared a few meters away from his original spot. Jeremy felt improvementsuld be made.

He felt a lot of energy was getting wasted because of the explosive nature of the technique.

Lindsey Family:

May Lindsey was with her family right now. Yesterday, she entered the wilderness to train, but her family found out about it. They decided to send a few bodyguards to ampany her.

Because she had revealed her intentions to hunt Tier-3 Corrupted Beasts, her family supported her decision. It’s not like they didn’t know about the campus matters. The news travels fast.

They too felt that S-Graders were supposed to be the face of the Beast Tamers, whether they were first-year students or seniors. So they were happy with her decision.

...

Wilderness:

The same situation was going on with Victor tt. The tt Family had decided to support him as well. Right now, he and his five protectors were looking for Tier-3 Corrupted Beasts.

Victor wasnfident in himself. He thought heuld defeat a Tier-3 Corrupted Beast because he had killed Tier-2 and Tier-3 Beasts during the Beast Invasion.

But he knew that a Tier-3 killuldn’t beunted because he had assisted his seniors with poison skills. If he wanted to be sure, then heuld only kill a Tier-3 Corrupted Beast himself.

Not long after,

The group went deeper into the wilderness.

”Young master, it’s not safe to go deeper anymore,” one of the black-clothed protectors said.

Hearing that, Victor tt frowned. They had been looking for a Tier-3 Corrupted Beast, but they had not euntered one so far. He knew that Tier-3 and above beasts lived in deeper areas.

”Okay, let’s search this area,” he said to them.

The protectors began searching separately. They were Tier-4 Beast Tamers, so they were not afraid of Tier-3 or Tier-4 Corrupted Beasts.

But if they went a little deeper into the wilderness, they might eunter Tier-5 Corrupted Beasts.

A few minutes later,

”There is a Tier-3 Grey Spotted Leopard here,” one of the protectors returned.

Hearing that, Victor became excited. Then the group went to target it.

About two hours later,

May Lindsey entered the wilderness with her protector as well. Then they started their journey to find Tier-3 Corrupted Beasts.

Whereas Romeo Barrett was fighting against Tier-2 Corrupted Beasts at the edge of the wilderness, close to the City Gate. He hadme here without protection.

Like yesterday, he had planned to return before evening. It was just that he didn’t find any Tier-3 Corrupted Beasts here. His main goal was to fight against Tier-3 Corrupted Beasts.

So he had decided to wait for them.

...

City C:

Manager Salvatore’s time hadme. He immediately stopped the ongoing operations in City C. Then he asked his men to return to their base immediately.

He had planned to go to their next city, where more Corrupted Beastrpsesuld be found. Salvatore didn’t know that their hideout had already been exposed.

It was just that the people were unwilling to offend the backer behind him, so they turned a blind eye to his actions.

Red Rock Human Settlement, City A:

The Red Rock Settlement is one of the many human settlements located close to City A, Zone 14. It’s only two kilometers away. Their populationnsists of 60,000. They hadn’t suffered much during the Beast Invasion.

Because City A was able to defeat the Beast Invasion in the end, everyone thought that the problem was over after the Beast Invasion. But the locals didn’t know that the Beast Invasion was caused by a single Tier-7 Corrupted Beast.

Their homes still faced threats from other Corrupted Beasts.

Their campnsists of refugees. The able-bodied men here work as mercenaries. They go to the wilderness to hunt and then sell the beast valuables to the store in City A.

The Beast Tamers here are registered with the Beast Taming Association, so they are getting a regular ime.

But recently, the situation of the Red Rock human settlement has bme dire. Those who went into the wilderness never came back.

At first, everyone thought that the mercenary groups were spending time in City A. But it didn’t take long for them tonfirm the situation. Their mercenary group never went to City A either.

Immediately, those who were left went to City A to report. Theyuld also inform the City A administration and the Beast Taming Association at the same time.

A few hours later, they were able to report the issue.

Not long after, their query was published as a mission by the City A administration. If someone wanted, theyuld accept the mission to investigate the disappearance of the Red Rock Mercenary Groups.

Whereas the Beast Taming Association published the mission, both in their mission board and Central University 14’s mission board.

The Central University 14’s mission board accepted requests from all sides because they had a larger number of Beast Tamers looking for the opportunity to explore the wilderness.

Central University 14:

Jeremy left the training room in the evening. On the way to his dorm, he walked past the mission hall building. For some reason, he decided to check out the missions.

He had no plans to go out anytime soon. At the same time, he wanted to check whether any missions piqued his interest.

He then turned around and began walking toward the mission building. The passersby were surprised to see him.

Everyone knew that department representatives were working hard in order to challenge him. But it was only possible if Jeremy stayed at the university.

If he went out for a mission, then their department representatives would have to wait for his return from the mission.

Some of the Elemental and Control Departments’ students were nearby as well. Some of them were angry. They felt being played by a STRIKER Department Representative.

If they don’t do anything now, then Jeremy Night might accept the mission. They quickly figured it out and stepped forward to stop Jeremy.

Jeremy was taken aback for a moment. He didn’t know these people, yet they were blocking his path. He then avoided them and tried to walk past.

The students once again moved from their previous spot and blocked his path again.

Jeremy frowned. He looked around the place. The other Beast Tamers were watching the scene with amusement.

”What are you guys doing?” he asked.

”Are you planning to take on a mission?” one of them asked.

Hearing that, Jeremy looked at the black-haired person similar to his age.

”Why should I tell you?”

”Don’t bother me,” After saying that, Jeremy tried to walk past again.

This time, when they moved away from their spot, his eyes turned icy. When they appeared in front of him.

Swoosh!

Jeremy moved. In a flash, he appeared in front of them. He then threw punches at their abdomens one by one. In the blink of an eye, all five of them were down.

Gasp!

The Beast Tamers who were watching gasped in shock.

Jeremy glanced at them icily before going toward the mission building. This time, no one dared to stop him.
