Pillar of Yita

”In fact, just a month ago, I met a team called ’Abyss of No Light’—the name picked by your Holy Choosers is quite strange, compared to it, the Seven Seas Travel Group is quite conventional.”

Before others came down, Fang Hong chatted with Madam about the matters of the Holy Chooser’s team.

However, when mentioning this ’Abyss of No Light’ team, Fang Hong learned from Aierna something that caught his attention. According to this Chairwoman’s description, the team seemed to be looking for someone, searching within the Alchemists Association instead of the Adventurers’ Guild, and naturally, the target was also an Alchemist.

”That person isn’t part of the guild.”

Aierna thought for a moment before continuing:

”He’s a Court Alchemist.”

”But I checked, and indeed there was a registration in the Tansnier Crafting Association. However, it seems this person later committed some misdemeanors and has been expelled from the guild. He should be detained somewhere now.”

”Where?” Fang Hong couldn’t help but ask.

”If I recall correctly, the last registered place was Bain.”

Aierna supported her chin with her fingers, thoughtfully said: ”But Bain only has a temporary prison for detaining captives, they should have transferred elsewhere by now.”

The speaker unintentionally remarked while the listener was inquisitive. Fang Hong felt a thump in his heart upon hearing the name ’Bain’ and instinctively thought of someone. At that moment, he remembered, ’Abyss of No Light’ wasn’t a common name; he had heard it before—it was an Elite Brigade within the Southern Region Alliance.

Moreover, the Level was fairly high, it should be a team built by Great God Ye Hua before he became one of the Ten Kings.

It felt like a mysterious line at that moment connected within his mind.

Why would the Southern Region Alliance investigate that Alchemist?

By the way, Great God Ye Hua was indeed at Bain Fortress back then.

But listening to the conversation between the middle-aged Arcanist and the opposite, they seemed to have an Alliance relationship with Count Nulman, how was this the case?

Relating it to Count Nulman and King of Sand’s attitude towards him recently, he felt the situation became even more confusing. The mysterious Alchemist detained in the Dungeon was somehow tied into the Southern Alliance, which seemed to be related to King of Sand’s side.

What exactly is their plan?

Suddenly, Fang Hong had an overwhelming dilemma.

If only the communication hasn’t interrupted, he could directly contact Great God Ye Hua for some information, since he helped them in Dulun, the Ranger King would likely reveal a bit of information to him.

...

Shortly after Tianlan went up, Fang Hong met his Miss Ship’s Officer again.

But he didn’t expect that the first news he got from her was that his cousin was sick.

Tang Xin fell ill shortly after his disappearance, although coincidental, Fang Hong roughly guessed that there might be a part of reason related to him. It made him uneasy—his uncle and aunt treated him as their own, and Tang Xin was like a sister to him—although there were occasionally disputes, they grew up together with strong affection.

Besides, how could a brother not protect his sister?

Fortunately, Hilveld also told him it was just Ether illness.

Only then did Fang Hong slightly breathe a sigh of relief, Ether illness could also be termed as ’not acclimatized,’ uniquely found in Eteliria. During his last time on Princess Briana’s ship, he was so ill that he almost couldn’t get out of bed—it was severe.

Luckily, Tang Xin wasn’t as severe as him; his cousin always had better physical fitness and facial factors than him—

Yet he still rushed with Hilveld to see his cousin.

In the room, Ai Xiaoxiao was somewhat delighted to see him, calling out big cousin several times, but more for fun.

Elisa and Parker weren’t around, heard they went out, like him, everyone had been searching for his whereabouts these days. But Quistack was so large, they missed each other, and despite being a Noble Lady, she hadn’t thought he was actually in this city.

Tianlan then asked about Luo Yu’s whereabouts, heard he had also escaped Bain Fortress, this carefree little girl seemed to act as if Luo Yu didn’t exist—or in another way, she had great confidence in Luo Yu.

Yet seeing his cousin was a bit odd.

Because Tang Xin seemed to be sulking at him, ignoring him.

Fang Hong found himself speechless for a moment—being lost wasn’t his fault, he didn’t want to go missing, plus he forcefully escaped from Bain Fortress, nearly offending King of Sand. Had the other side decided his attitude clearer, not using him at the grand celebration, everyone could have gone to the square to collect his corpse.

Or perhaps to the Holy Sanctuary—

Fang Hong couldn’t help but look towards Hilveld beside him.

The Lady Noble slightly smiled with pursed lips, her crescent-like eyes not responding.

But she quietly pulled him aside, raised her head, with tenderly soaked gaze fixed directly at him, for a good while. Then Miss Ship’s Officer gently tiptoed—next moment, Fang Hong only felt a slight chill on his cheek, somewhat unexpectedly looked to Hilveld.

The latter smiled gently and said softly:

”Welcome back, Lord Captain.”
