COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

“Boss! Boss! it’s Horikita-san!!”

“Her water just broke?!”

“Horikita-san’s about to give birth, to your first child!”

“.....” These scandalous words forced Hachiman to doubt his life, because, the last chapters, he just read only indicated, that Horikita Suzune’s just having a fever....but now....

’She’s about to give birth to my first child?!’

’When did this happen?’ Hachiman didn’t even touch her in the slightest!

’I really swear! You must believe me!’

’What about the island exam? Do I have to take responsibility?! Take care of both Horikita and my unborn child....’

“K-Kushi-

“Sorry, I’m late,” Only, when Hachiman tried to explain himself, that he didn’t do these scary things, a girl’s voice directly cut him off.

Hachiman was very familiar with this voice, so he directly snapped his neck, towards the origin, and saw a girl with long black hair, she was holding the edge of a chair, with her left hand, and then moved towards them....but her footsteps were a little slow.

Horikita was wearing the same red colour sports uniform as everyone else. ’But, I have to say that pretty girls like Horikita look good in whatever clothes they put on....’

Even though, Horikita’s figure, looks quite weak, just like a sickly beauty.

But, this girl has a very strong personality.

“......” Hachiman. ’It’s not the time, for thinking about Horikita’s looks, you idiot!’

’Her water just broke?! How terrible!’

Even though, Horikita’s trying her best, to reach towards her baby’s father, with all her strength, only Hachiman got panicked, and ran towards this girl, with an extreme worried look on his face, not even realising that Kushida’s chuckling wildly inside her heart.

Her plan is working beautifully! She was able to make Hachiman’s rationality blow away.

’What an idiot! How could Horikita-san give birth? Didn’t you see, that her stomach isn’t bulging at all?’

But, Kushida didn’t care about Hachiman’s emotional breakdown, her mission of causing trouble, has already been pulled off!

”H-Horikita...should I call the ambulance?! Your health really doesn’t look good now?!”

“Why didn’t you tell me this incredible news before?!”

Several questions were thrown at this girl’s head, at a rocket pace, not even allowing her a chance to....

“.....” Suzune, was quite stunned, when she saw this new kind of expression on his face, both worried, and happy at the same time?

“Ambulance? Hachiman, I assure you there’s no need for this.”

“But but, but?!”

“I can still hold on...Kushida-san....She must have been talking bad things about me again...”

“Indeed, she was the one, who just told me that your.....”

“??” When Hachiman’s gaze slightly looked downwards, he realised, that something is very wrong here, a bad feeling....

“Boss! Boss! it’s Horikita-san!!”

“Her water just broke?!”

“Horikita-san’s about to give birth, to your first child!”

These were the dialogues, uttered by Kushida, the moment Hachiman entered, almost causing a panic attack, but now.....

’Where is the baby?’

’How did it even happen in the first place? I never saw Horikita being....’

“.....” Hachiman, who was fooled, “Oh, what did Kushida-san tell you now?” Suzune, almost sighed, really not liking this yellow girl’s over the top behaviour.

“I just said, Horikita-san cheeks look very rosy....a sign of poor health!”

”There’s a girl named, Sakayanagi-san from Class A, who is absent, then it won’t be a big problem, if our class also has a ghost!’

“Depending on the special exam, you can abstain, if not feeling that well...”

“I was just scared about Horikita-san’s poor body!”

“.....” These words, made both H people bite their lip.

For, Suzune, she had opened up her clothes with Hachiman before, and also declared to her Nii-san, for not chasing his tail....and

’I would just be myself...’

But, now....abstain from these important exams....

Although Kushida hates Horikita, but on the surface level, she needs to fake her Angel persona, very busy even thinking about her enemy’s poor health.

“I will go take a rest....” Suzune was really moved, when she heard, Kushida-san, was really anxious for her, and it seemed to make good points in her cold heart.

It’s just in reality, she has no confidence.

Because, her illness lasted for several days this time, it was like pressure was accumulated for a long time and then suddenly exploded.... May not be cured quickly.

While, thinking about it...

[Attention, students -]

However, at this moment, the horn on the ship cheered in a loud voice.

[If you have time, please be sure to gather on the deck. Very soon, you’ll be able to see the island.

Please be sure to appreciate the fleeting and a very meaningful scenery. ]

It sounded like an inexplicable broadcast, which made the three of them, to look at each other.

Oh, no... Hachiman was already looking at Kushida-san....this whole time...

“.....” But, Kushida just kept that innocent angelic look on her face, and may have been, eating her own tongue, to stop laughing.

It’s just, Suzune also knew, her partners-in crime’s bitch life, using her vast experience of pleasuring the upperclassmen, from her junior high school, Kushida was able to receive information very early.

Details about their forefathers, taking a ship, for going on a Deserted Island, then collective living....shake your hips, behind the trees, and make love...

And, Finally this exam of solving Japan’s low birth rate is being taken care of.

But, Suzune’s pitiful attempt to give her body, more time to heal and then put it to good use... also failed.

__________

All the 1st year students, have now come towards the deck.

The name of this Cruise, which Hachiman has only just learned, Speranza, is large enough to accommodate 160 people. (Not even including other workers)

..... It’s just, 45...47...55...

After the broadcast started, he counted the number of people, who visited....Only about fifty or sixty people.

Everyone stood on the deck, holding on to the railings.....’I forgot it was Kushida’s perverted nature to kic-’

”Hey, Isn’t this Hikigaya-kun?!” This boy’s rude ideas about his classmate named, Kushida-san, were interrupted....

’Actually, I was just being greeted.’

Indeed, the Archangel of Class B, Ichinose Honami, who has dazzling, long strawberry-blond hair, with an extremely confident, plus a sweet smile on her face.....

’She actually ran towards me to say Hello!’

If Kushida is a little angel, then Ichinose really deserves the honour of being called an, Archangel, descended from heaven.... with a shining Halo glowing above.

Hachiman feels like, he was being enlightened, by Ichinose’s divine Light, his evil thoughts about getting revenge against Kushida, seemed to have been wiped out.

This was the first time, Hachiman has met Ichinose, after staying on this Speranza, for more than 2 days!

’But, I did peek at her, a few times...’

Hey, you didn’t tell me that?!

’It was just me being a Human camera...So, I didn’t think, it was a big deal...’

’I can often see people from Class B having fun in various facilities.... In other words, they don’t feel nervous about this exam at all....’

Among the four classes Hachiman mentioned, only 1 did not know, about this school trip....actually being a huge farce.

’Not prepared in the slightest...But I have to admit that Class B....Very good weather for now...’

For now?

’Yeah, Ichinose and her family, really treat this school..... just like an ordinary 1’

’This kind of mentality will only result in their wings to get destroyed by other classes sooner or later....’

I couldn’t agree more, with you.

’Hey, Author-san, we are good friends, right? Can you provide me, some hints during the exam?’

’Author-san....?’
