COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

She actually has a cruise ship at home.

’If I can marry her, then my dream of becoming a house cook..... No, no, no, I don’t even have to enter the Kitchen!’

’Hachiman! Don’t be an idiot!’ He quickly shook off these strange thoughts, and tried to reflect.

Because, Hachiman doesn’t think he will get the favor of Sakayanagi or get married to her...

’After all, she is the kind of person who doesn’t raise trash, but actually enjoys to torture it, or even make it work like a private slave!’ That girl, Sakayanagi is really terrible, very dark inside.

This is the most difficult type for Hachiman to deal with....similar to natural enemies. ’It’s all Kushida’s fault.....’

If Hachiman didn’t have the nightmare of marrying her, then he wouldn’t have thought so much.

”Isn’t it shameful to keep looking back on the past?” That was Ike’s quote, after his failed confession.

In this way, Hachiman also decided to hide his love affairs.

No matter, whether it’s the past or now, this boy only thinks.... ’It’s impossible for me to fall in love.’

___________

In this way, after receiving the news from Chabashira-sensei, that he could still enjoy the rich life for one more day, Hachiman did just that.

From watching plays to free meals and body massages.

Even though, Hachiman was very excited to receive the body massage, and it was very comfortable, while being pressed...

But, a few hours later, he immediately found that... the areas where he was touched were a little painful.

”Hikigaya-kun!” When Hachiman came to the library on the ship again, he found the silver-haired girl, he had met before.

Shiina Hiyori, 1st year Class D, this girl was actually born in C, but Sudo, killed one of her classmate in a fight, and result....

Hachiman is now a student of Class C.

And, the last time they met, she directly tested him, about the exam location....Maybe, it was Shiina’s own way to vent her emotions, about her class falling behind.

However, the other person also has silver hair reaching her waist, pure white skin, and clear eyes, which makes her look quite cute.

Very similar to a girl from Class A, but Shiina is not a sadist, and just a quiet literary girl.

Only,

”You have entered my Sanctum again, then it only means, you like reading..... And, just by good luck, I also brought a list of my favourite books...”

Hachiman noticed that when, Shiina opened a book she was holding, there were many sticky notes inside.

Above are several book titles.

[Gone with the Wind]

[The Sorrows of Young Werther]

[Peter Pan] is like this.

They all seem to be literary masterpieces, that have been handed down for a long time.

“I advise you to not read them.”

“.....” Hachiman. ’Is there such an incredible thing?’

Shiina’s eyes looked at these books, as if they were just poison, and didn’t want Hachiman to die like her too.

’Looking at it this way, is Shiina actually not hostile to me?’ “T-then what kind of books, do you think I’m suitable for reading?” Hachiman’s voice was a little shaken, after realising this girl didn’t think, he was an evil person.

And, there are many reasons to ask this -

• Koenji is always fucking that pillow.

• Yamauchi, just likes to play with his stick, and does not even care about the fact that Hachiman’s still inside.

• Sudo, who probably became more fond of him, after going to that dinner and, then criticizing the students of Class A.

He even wanted to invite Hachiman to go swimming, who doesn’t like sports very much.

Just spare him, in that way, he just chose to read a book.

Use this excuse to refuse contact and social interaction, that’s why, he went to the library, specifically.....

Shiina Hiyori’s Sanctum.

”These books are relatively obscure.” Shiina, who has already fallen into Class D, said, ”I can recommend some of my favorite ones to you.”

After that, she turned the notes over, took out a pen, and wrote... it’s just not her looks are very beautiful, her scribbling is also quite elegant.

“.....” Hachiman, who was openly staring at this girl’s hand. Shiina had actually pulled her sleeves upwards a little, exposing....

He really had a perverted desire to take a small bite, and chew Shiina’s.....

“.....” Hachiman, his brain was still very busy, thinking about the massage he received.

For the meantime, he decided to just take a peek at the list of books Shiina, just wrote.

[Resurrection]

[White Night Walk]

[David Copperfield]

[Woman in White]

[Insulted and Injured] are some relatively distant ones, which made Hachiman frown, but he took it anyway.

Since it was recommended by a huge bookworm like Shiina Hiyori, they are probably good....Just by looking at her excited face....Not poison.

’I probably won’t get bored...’ Then, after separating from Shiina, Hachiman went to borrow these books alone.

But only after a few minutes of reading, he quickly discovered a huge problem.

The books recommended by Shiina... either have very depressing characters, or have various unsatisfactory plots, that makes people think about them for a long time, and just feel empty inside.

“.....” Hachiman, who thought it was going to be fun, but now he even felt more uncomfortable....

During their last talk, Shiina was just complaining about falling out....

And, now when he thought, she didn’t want him to die from reading those Life-threatening works.

Shiina directly recommended these poisonous books to him. ’This attack method...is a bit interesting..’

Not using the direct way of countering like Ryuen.

But, it also gave, Hachiman a nice idea, he recommended these dangerous books to Yamauchi.

Only, he was also busy analysing their recent talk in the Library. ’So, does that mean, the books mentioned on her sticky notes earlier were actually, very nice, right?’

______________

On the third day.

Hachiman sent a message to both of the free workers, Horikita and Kushida, and then agreed to meet at the theater.

Not many people come around here, so it’s a good place to talk, besides Hachiman also decided to not visit early this time, no longer wanted to look cool.

It’s just, when the appointed time is coming, he finds that only Kushida Kikyo, is roaming inside wildly.

And, when she realised, Hachiman, her boss, has finally entered, Kushida directly ran over towards him, to share her terrible news, “Boss! Boss! it’s Horikita-san!!”

“Her water just broke?!”

“Horikita-san’s about to give birth, to your first child!”

“......” Hachiman’s jaw dropped, like a dead fish, this boy is really stunned, after listening to outrageous things, Kushida is busy yelling.

’This girl has really gone nuts!”
