Berserk God of War

Dong dong dong...

Heavy footsteps echoed in the dim palace.

Finally, Sikong Jing was guided by six demon puppets to a large door at the center of the palace.

At this moment, the six battle puppets simultaneously stopped and stood on either side of the door.

The intact demon puppet mechanically said, ”Master of Ten Thousand Beasts, Black Demon Lord is inside, please enter!”

Sikong Jing stared at the equally dim interior of the door, stepping inside without much thought.

Soon, with a loud ”buzz,” a white light burst forth within the door.

In an instant, it illuminated the environment inside the door clearly, resembling an ordinary meeting hall.

The light was emanating from the highest position, where a white light shield existed, and within this white light shield sat an old man in black clothes with closed eyes, unresponsive, simply sitting quietly.

”Black Demon Lord...”

At this point, Sikong Jing released the Double-Horned Demon Tiger Spirit Shadow, which instantly cried out upon seeing the old man.

It couldn’t resist rushing forward, but couldn’t break through the white light shield surrounding the old man.

And Sikong Jing completely confirmed at this moment that the black-clothed old man before him was indeed the legendary Black Demon, the one who created the Pure Spirit Heart allowing demonization without losing spiritual wisdom, and the one who devised the Desert Sea Absolute Array.

It should also be him who stole the Ten Thousand Beasts Sky Prison in the hands of the Five Heavenly Emperors...

However, the situation was clear; Black Demon was dead and had been dead for an unknown number of years.

Sikong Jing’s fists clenched tightly...

He stepped closer to the white light shield, then stopped in front of it and directly kneeled down, saying, ”Black Demon senior, although I am the new generation’s Master of Ten Thousand Beasts, you deserve my respect.”

This bow, Sikong Jing felt, was deserved.

No matter if his previous speculations were true, just with the three chances of demonization provided by the Pure Spirit Heart, he won many things and saved many comrades’ lives.

Sikong Jing’s head lowered heavily... buzz!

At this moment, Sikong Jing was suddenly enveloped by white light, and his consciousness was pulled into an illusory space, surrounded by a white haze before revealing a new scene.

Sikong Jing’s consciousness paused, then immediately calmed down, thinking, ”This is a memory scene left for me by Black Demon senior.”

The situation before him was not unfamiliar to Sikong Jing...

Just like the memory scene set up by Soul Dominator Venerable within the Soul Dominator Secret Realm, where he saw the story between Grandpa Su and Soul Dominator Venerable.

This time, Black Demon similarly wanted to show him all ancient secrets this way.

Sikong Jing knew well that soon he would understand everything.

About Divine Demon Island, about Desert Sea Absolute Array, about the legacy of the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts, and so on.

The scene of the memory illusion became completely clear within Sikong Jing’s consciousness, and then he surprisingly saw the Double-Horned Demon Tiger!

However, the Double-Horned Demon Tiger in the illusion was not a spirit shadow but a living entity, with a middle-aged figure floating in front of it, unmistakably the middle-aged Black Demon.

At this moment, the Black Demon in the illusion said, ”War Demon Tiger, guard the Pure Spirit Heart well, I am now going to find the Swallowing Sky Tiger King.”

Clearly, this was the scene of Black Demon bidding farewell to the Double-Horned Demon Tiger at the Soul Snatching Battlefield in the Central Plains East.

Black Demon had just created the Pure Spirit Heart and was going to look for the Black Prison Swallowing Sky Tiger to acquire a treasure to present to the previous Master of Ten Thousand Beasts... and this was the last memory the Double-Horned Demon Tiger Spirit Shadow had of Black Demon.

After these words, the scene in the illusion suddenly changed...

On an enormous, terrifying battlefield where the horizon was invisible, among countless demon beast and human clan corpses, a figure staggered up, unmistakably Black Demon’s silhouette.

Covered in blood, his eyes crimson, he shouted, ”I must find the Swallowing Sky Tiger King, I need to break through, I must break through!”

Bang...

In the illusion, Black Demon’s True Qi exploded, instantly making him younger, transforming into a gray-haired yet youthful appearance, he quietly laughed, ”I have reached the Divine Martial Stage, there’s still a chance, I still have a chance!”

At this time, Black Demon was still on his way to find the Black Prison Swallowing Sky Tiger, reaching the Divine Martial Stage.

The illusion changed again, to a more terrifying Void battlefield...

Black Demon stepped onto the battlefield, covered in dust, and looked around in confusion.

”Why, why didn’t they wait for me?”

”As long as Master of Ten Thousand Beasts gets my Pure Spirit Heart, they won’t be defeated, but why did I arrive a moment late?”

Seeing this, Sikong Jing’s heart was gripped tightly.

This should be the final battlefield, where the previous Master of Ten Thousand Beasts and Fierce Beast Divine Beasts like the Golden Divine Dragon were defeated.

Black Demon arrived late; when he reached there, the war was long over, his Pure Spirit Heart was of no use.

”Ahhh, the Swallowing Sky Tiger King is gone, all Fierce Beast Divine Beasts are gone?”

”How can this be, where are the bodies?”

Black Demon frantically searched for corpses in the terrifying battlefield but found none of the Fierce Beast Divine Beasts.

But Black Demon, eyes red, kept searching.

The battlefield was huge; he could only search day and night... there was no living being around, besides him there wasn’t even half a soul, as if the place had become a terrifying desolate land due to the war.

Suddenly, Black Demon dug out a broken giant claw from a huge demon beast corpse.

”This is, this is the remaining claw of the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts...”

”Hahaha, heaven favors those who persist, I finally found a part of Master of Ten Thousand Beasts’ corpse.”

In the memory illusion, Black Demon’s voice was filled with excitement.

But in the next moment, his whole body trembled as he said, ”Someone’s coming, the subordinates of the Five Heavenly Emperors, they failed to gather the complete corpse of the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts and are coming back to search the battlefield.”

”I must leave immediately, I need to hide...”

With these words, the illusion in Sikong Jing’s consciousness changed again.

This time, to the scene in the depths of a mountain...

Black Demon appeared, panting heavily, hoarsely saying, ”I finally escaped successfully, disguising myself as a human to deceive them, I finally brought the claw corpse of the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts out, hahaha!”

He laughed manically, then took the claw corpse out of his Storage Space.

Black Demon stared intently at the claw corpse before him...

He lowly growled, ”I must gather the fragmented spirit shadows of the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts remaining in the world into this claw corpse, I must use this claw corpse to allow a new heir to the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts’ bloodline.”

”I must succeed, a new Master of Ten Thousand Beasts must appear.”

Hearing these words, Sikong Jing felt another strong suffocation in his chest.

Finally understanding where the legacy bloodline of the previous Master of Ten Thousand Beasts came from, it was the doing of Black Demon senior.

The memory illusion changed again...

In the scene, Black Demon, already at the Divine Martial Stage, had become old again, countless years had passed.

The elderly Black Demon made a sound, tears streaming as he said, ”It succeeded, after three hundred years, I finally succeeded... Master of Ten Thousand Beasts, I am a human subordinate of Swallowing Sky Tiger Emperor, Black Demon; my real name is Ying Yu.”

He knelt before the claw corpse, introducing himself.
