Berserk God of War

Chapter 1467: Chapter 1467: Acting Alone, Arrows from Behind

Meanwhile, at another entrance point in the distance, Tie Ti’er and other Canggu geniuses were preparing to set off...

Because Hanluan City was enormous, even the Chaotic Eighth District was vast.

Even though there were hundreds of entrance points, each was far apart, so Tie Ti’er couldn’t see Pei Yuzheng’s situation over there, hence she temporarily didn’t know about Pei Yuzheng’s intention to kill Sikong Jing.

At this moment, Cang Lin looked at Tie Ti’er about to step into the Chaotic Eighth District and asked, ”Ti’er, did you meet the person you wanted to see?”

He had been catching up with various people and only now had time to speak with Tie Ti’er.

Tie Ti’er smiled softly and said, ”I met Cang Lin Grandpa; he’s really formidable.”

Looking at Little Ti’er’s smile, Cang Lin laughed heartily again, asking, ”Got a bit rattled, huh?”

He just wanted Tie Ti’er to personally verify who the black-clad youth was and be greatly stimulated, to tame her playful nature.

”Yes, indeed I was greatly rattled...”

”Didn’t expect Sikong Jing to be so strong, I lost another round in Soldier Killing Chess and haven’t had time to redeem myself.”

”As for Martial Arts.”

”He’s surprisingly strong, but probably isn’t my opponent yet.”

Upon saying this last sentence, Cang Lin paused in shock; his smile vanished as he stared blankly at Tie Ti’er — Martial Arts-wise, Sikong Jing isn’t your opponent?

Little girl, are you not a bit too arrogant?

”But Sikong Jing has an Ultimate Emperor Weapon; if used, I might not be his opponent.”

Tie Ti’er didn’t know what Cang Lin was thinking; she continued to smile, saying, ”Regardless, it’s already terribly impressive that someone from the remote East Plain has achieved what he has today. I’m glad I didn’t have poor judgment.”

”I’ve also arranged with him that we’ll join forces and fight side by side once we enter the conflict zone.”

Despite Tie Ti’er’s words, Cang Lin remained expressionless and unresponsive.

At this moment, a genius from Sacred Canggu Peak said, ”Elder Cang, this Sikong Jing is also somewhat arrogant, being only at Spiritual Battle Realm Peak and claiming to fight alongside us, clearly wanting us to protect him.”

”Yes, from his tone, he seems to think he’s the black-clad youth.” Another Canggu genius said.

The voices fell silent as Tie Ti’er immediately cast a severe gaze, silencing those about to speak.

Then, Tie Ti’er softly said, ”Don’t say that, we at Sacred Canggu Peak have the spirit of Tie Cang’s Wuming Stone; since the founding ancestor, we must not look down on anyone, understand?”

On this side, Cang Lin couldn’t help but open his mouth wide; apparently, Tie Ti’er didn’t yet know Sikong Jing was the black-clad youth.

It seemed she hadn’t truly been stimulated yet.

Suddenly, he glanced at a group of Canggu disciples bearing disdainful expressions.

Really, it seemed these disciples besides Ti’er needed to be stimulated a bit as well, so he calmly said, ”Hmm, indeed we mustn’t look down on anyone; perhaps Sikong Jing will end up taking care of you all.”

”What?” The crowd found it hard to believe as they looked incredulously at Cang Lin.

They opened their mouths wide, wishing to refute but dared not; Cang Lin’s authority over Sacred Canggu Peak was formidable.

”Alright, now go inside, and make sure to protect the Holy Daughter, understand?”

Cang Lin tersely commanded, and eventually, everyone could only nod and silently move towards the entrance...

At this moment, Cang Lin suddenly asked Tie Ti’er with a surprised expression, ”Ti’er, where’s your Grandma Kui? Why isn’t she with you?”

He just realized Grandma Kui wasn’t around...

However, Tie Ti’er’s face immediately darkened as she replied, ”Don’t mention her, I no longer need her.”

Having said that, she didn’t explain further, but led everyone into the Chaotic Eighth District.

Next, they would release the Message Birds to contact Sikong Jing and others first, then find a location to meet up and act.

Outside the entrance point, Cang Lin watched Tie Ti’er and others’ disappearing figures, murmuring to himself, ”When you all realize just how terrifying Sikong Jing is, you’ll understand the vastness of the world.”

Cang Lin’s eyes were full of expectations; then he flashed onto Sacred Canggu Peak’s Divine Shuttle Ship, ordering it to ascend over Hanluan City.

Next, it was time to watch the battle!

...

Within the Chaotic Eighth District, Sikong Jing’s group proceeded leisurely.

Around them, countless ruined houses and broken tiles evidenced those who’ve trodden ahead, sporadic corpses, and cries from corners — some who just entered but had died or been injured.

As for common people within the Chaotic Eighth District...

Though not seen, it’s sensed that many were hiding in cellars.

Sikong Jing glanced a few times before withdrawing his gaze, then looked towards the direction of the entrance point and said to the group, ”Pei Yuzheng indeed entered from our point, he’s coming to kill me.”

He had already placed Little Demon Beast at the entrance point to monitor Pei Yuzheng.

Upon hearing this, a cold gleam flashed in everyone’s eyes, Hua Meixi openly asked, ”Should we... eliminate him now?”

Sikong Jing glanced at the sky upon hearing this; the view was densely packed with Divine Shuttle Ships.

During the conflict zone battle, all forces could ride Divine Shuttle Ships to watch from above, but the entire Hanluan City was protected by formations from various forces to prevent interference in the genius battle.

This meant Divine Shuttle Ships had to watch from outside the formation; no one could descend.

If a powerful figure wanted to forcibly break the formation to intervene, they’d be jointly stopped by people from other forces.

Simultaneously, people from the Soldier Formation Master Guild would also intervene...

Taking back his gaze slightly, Sikong Jing replied, ”Not now, it’s not chaotic enough having just entered the conflict zone. If Pei Yuzheng is killed immediately, Qianwang Holy Tower might forcibly suppress Hanluan City’s forces to retaliate against us.”

”Now isn’t the time to kill him...”

Sikong Jing shook his head; intervention by other forces in the conflict zone would be stopped, but Qianwang Holy Tower might not.

Before killing Pei Yuzheng, a strong individual might descend to save him.

Therefore, Sikong Jing continued, ”Next, I’ll let Pei Yuzheng kill me first, while you all avoid the edge of his spear...”

”What?” The group froze at Sikong Jing’s words — killed by him?

”Of course, not truly killed by him...”

Sikong Jing laughed softly and explained, ”We shouldn’t be tied down by Pei Yuzheng for us to continue acting, our primary target remains Gong Ying’s people.”

At this, Sikong Jing clearly laid out his plan to the group.

Everyone listened intently, nodding repeatedly.

Upon Sikong Jing finishing his explanation, Weng Ting asked, ”Junior Brother Sikong, you mean you will start by acting alone?”

Sikong Jing nodded, ”Yes, I must first act alone.”

”You all should train and challenge yourselves with Sacred Canggu Peak first; we’ll reunite at Chaotic First Zone later.”

In fact, there were unsaid words by him — he might be able to deal with Pei Yuzheng now.

But in a direct confrontation, he might not be able to protect everyone at Yao Residence; having them join Sacred Canggu Peak was intended to preserve their lives, avoiding immediate targeting while gaining combat training.

Even if he causes chaos, it would only be his own matter, and no major trouble would implicate everyone.

Moreover...

He wanted to focus the attention of Qianwang Holy Tower, East Dominator Branch, and even Shiyu Commerce on himself, allowing Hua Meixi, the eighth-grade War Body, to temporarily hide and await the real opportunity to explode.

Just as Hua Meixi and others seemed eager to speak, Sikong Jing suddenly looked back and whispered, ”It’s coming!”

Buzz!

With his words falling, a terrifying arrow light suddenly shot from the direction of the entrance point, carrying golden light that tore through space, directly targeting Sikong Jing’s back...
