Berserk God of War

Chapter 1454: Chapter 1454: Not of My Direct Lineage, Silenced

Just like that, Grandma Kui took Tie Ti’er and left.

Gong Ying naturally did not stop them, as the opponent was the Holy Daughter of Sacred Canggu Peak; even if she had tried to stop them, it would have been useless.

At this moment, Gong Ying looked at Senior Sister Cen and the others, asking, ”What is the matter with this elder and younger pair?”

She could obviously discern that Grandma Kui and Tie Ti’er had opposing opinions.

Then she heard Senior Sister Cen and the others explain the previous situation. Gong Ying frowned and said, ”I see, it seems the Holy Daughter of Sacred Canggu Peak places great importance on Sikong the little beast, while Grandma Kui wishes for his death.”

”Forget it, there’s no need to bother with Sacred Canggu Peak anymore.”

This matter is strange, but Gong Ying was too lazy to deal with it...

No matter how much importance is placed on Sikong Jing, Tie Ti’er is still a junior who ultimately must listen to her elders, and Sacred Canggu Peak absolutely won’t risk getting involved in their muddy waters for the sake of their little Holy Daughter.

Unfortunately, Gong Ying doesn’t know that if Sikong Jing was truly just a pawn of Minglong Village, Sacred Canggu Peak wouldn’t interfere.

But he is still... the black-clad youth!

”We must kill Sikong the little beast immediately, and act quickly.”

”He has acquired the inheritance of the Soul Dominator Venerable, which might prompt that old hag Venerable Ba Lian to come out of hiding, posing a grave threat to my senior brother Ba Lie Venerable...”

”We must eliminate him before Duanmu Chun contacts Venerable Ba Lian.”

As Gong Ying spoke, the atmosphere turned chilling...

The next moment, Gong Ying looked at Netherworld Guardian and said, ”Sikong the little beast will surely return to Yao Residence. We will go directly to seize him, using the Soldier Killing Array to take him in front of Duanmu Chun’s people and cut him down.”

”The reason is that Sikong Jing killed three of my disciples.”

Regardless of the circumstances, Sikong Jing hasn’t truly separated from the Overlord Commerce, so there must be a reason for killing him.

As her words fell, Netherworld Guardian’s eyes flashed with cold light.

The last time Duanmu Chun managed to leave with great fanfare was because he could forcibly control troops, so now to kill Sikong Jing, they must bring forces...

Just as Netherworld Guardian was preparing to follow orders, Di Geng said, ”Gongda Bajue, this matter is inadvisable.”

”Hmm?” Gong Ying looked over with cold eyes.

Di Geng took a deep breath and replied, ”If only we knew about Sikong Jing acquiring the inheritance of Soul Dominator Venerable, it would be fine, but the Holy Daughter of Sacred Canggu Peak also knows.”

”If the Holy Daughter tells Venerable Ba Lian that we seized him and killed him on the spot, ruining her chance to find Soul Dominator Venerable, given her crazed nature, she would surely go mad and kill us.”

As he spoke, Li Feng also nodded heavily, feeling a shiver run through him.

They had all encountered Venerable Ba Lian before; everyone knew that since she lost her husband, she’d been frighteningly lunatic, especially regarding matters that irritated her.

By then, Gong Ying might live thanks to Ba Lie Venerable’s protection, but the rest of them would surely die.

Gong Ying also felt chilled in her heart; Venerable Ba Lian indeed terrified her.

Even her senior brother Ba Lie Venerable is not her match; however, it was the Holy Daughter of Sacred Canggu who knew of this matter; they can’t silence her.

Yet they must eliminate Sikong Jing, otherwise Venerable Ba Lian might come out of hiding.

”I’ve got it...”

At this moment, Di Geng suddenly said, ”Yao Yulou will certainly have Sikong Jing participate in tomorrow’s territorial contest, at which time we can eliminate him...”

Li Feng’s eyes lit up and he said, ”Right, even if he brandishes the Overlord Battle King Spear, even if the whole world knows he’s got the Soul Dominator Venerable’s inheritance, dying in the territorial contest can’t be pinned on us.”

The territorial contest is a fair battle...

If he dies there, Venerable Ba Lian wouldn’t have grounds to go mad. Even if she does, she couldn’t blame it on us.

Gong Ying furrowed her brows frantically; she still felt this was somewhat passive.

”Gongda Bajue, it’s said that Venerable Ba Lian has severed communications with everyone. Even if Duanmu Chun truly gets info about Soul Dominator Venerable from Sikong Jing, he can’t immediately inform her.”

”Therefore, we should also deal with Duanmu Chun at that time...”

The one speaking was Netherworld Guardian, making a killing gesture with eyes filled with murderous intent.

Finally, Gong Ying smiled coldly, ”Alright, not just Duanmu Chun, Yao Yulou must also die at that time... Everyone connected to Sikong Jing must die, not leaving a single one!”

She must eliminate everyone tied to Sikong Jing...

Only then can she ensure that even if Sikong Jing has news of the Soul Dominator Venerable, it will never reach Venerable Ba Lian.

Di Geng’s eyes flashed with cold light, saying, ”It’s simple to kill Yao Yulou, eliminate him during the territorial contest.”

Gong Ying agreed with a cold gleam in her eyes, and said dully, ”Regarding Sikong the little beast having secured the Soul Dominator inheritance, for now, don’t let it be transmitted to the Overlord Association, remember that.”

Should it reach the Overlord Association, Venerable Ba Lian could discover it, so Gong Ying planned to proceed carefully.

After speaking, Gong Ying finally prepared to leave, but in the next instant... Thud, thud, thud, thud!

She suddenly blasted out four streams of True Qi, directly striking the four captains including Jin Liwu, causing them to stiffen with full-body tremors, and blood began to gush from their heads with faces full of astonishment.

Jin Liwu asked dumbfoundedly, ”Gongda Bajue, why?”

”You are not of my direct lineage, cannot trust you, hence silenced,” Gong Ying replied indifferently.

The others heard this and naturally didn’t give those four captains another glance before leaving...

Finally, in front of the Soul Dominator Courtyard, only the four captains including Jin Liwu lay sprawled on the ground, regretting that they should have followed Duanmu Dabajue like Sikong Jing.

...

Hanyi District, Canggu Courtyard!

Slap!

A loud slap resounded on Grandma Kui’s face, as Tie Ti’er glared at her furiously, eyes blazing with wrath.

”You’re simply senile.”

”You said Sikong Jing is a worthless being destined to be purged from this world, but has he truly vanished? He has proven his frightful potential, demonstrated his terrifying combat abilities, proved how wrong you were.”

”Just because you were wrong, now you want him dead?”

Thud...

With Tie Ti’er’s angry rebuke, Grandma Kui fell to her knees, saying lowly, ”Holy Daughter, I did all this for your sake; we really cannot meddle in the affairs of the East Dominator Branch.”

Slap!

Tie Ti’er landed another slap hard on her old face, laughing furiously and said, ”You can’t meddle in the East Dominator Branch, yet you listened to Senior Sister Cen’s words to track Sikong Jing’s whereabouts?”

”Isn’t that meddling, what else is it?”

Tie Ti’er panted angrily, thinking that if not for Sikong Jing being formidable enough, she herself might have already been restrained by Grandma Kui, helplessly watching him be killed by Senior Sister Cen and others.

Even more infuriating was that after Sikong Jing had left, Grandma Kui was still helping to track him down—utterly unreasonable.

Tie Ti’er wasn’t foolish; she could tell this was just Grandma Kui feeling displeased after Sikong Jing’s performance slapped her in the face.

As Tie Ti’er spewed out words like a fountain, Grandma Kui was rendered speechless.

The next moment, Tie Ti’er said coldly, ”Henceforward, you no longer need to follow me. I, Tie Ti’er, do not need someone who won’t listen to even the words of the Holy Daughter, especially one who can restrain the Holy Daughter before outsiders... Begone!”

After speaking, Tie Ti’er slammed the door shut behind her, ignoring Grandma Kui entirely.
