Chapter 6068, Could Not Say Much More…

Author: Silavin

Yang Kai had been worryingly pacing around, within the Restricted Area where Fang Tian Ci, Thunder Shadow and Little Eleven had lived in not too long ago. If any of his Wives saw him, they would assume that one of them was giving birth again.

He had relegated himself here because he did not want to get exposed to any of his Wives yet. Out of all places on Star Boundary, this was the most unlikely spot for any of them to visit, and was the most secured from third parties due to the Restrictions placed.

Though he had mastered all Daos, it seemed like his Dao of Women was lacking, as he did not know how to better his current situation.

He had been trying to deduce which Wife to approach first. He had brought all the gifts he could get, but now was the task of actually trying to placate them.

His go to would be Su Yan, since she could be considered everyone’s Senior, and was the most calm when dealing with things. Her word was basically law amongst his harem, with all the others listening to her. It could be said that this was due to both her position as being the First Wife, and her collected attitude when discussing matters, truly never using her position to sway the other Wives.

Therefore, if he could manage to placate her, it would be him winning half the battle already. As for the others like Yu Ru Meng and Shan Qing Luo, these two were the hardest to deal with. Yang Kai never personally seeked them out for favours like this. They held the strongest grudge, and would egg on the other Wives to punish him. In the harem, they were basically the counter balance to the forgiving Little Senior Sister and Tao Ling Wan, ensuring he would not cross the line.

Typically, if he could not seek out Su Yan, he would seek out Little Senior Sister and Tao Ling Wan, since they were the most forgiving. However, he could not find them at their usual locations.

Since he was a Great Emperor, naturally, his senses of what was happening on Star Boundary was but a thought. Yet, he could not find Little Senior Sister and Tao Ling Wan. This hinted that the two were either not on Star Boundary or were some Restricted Area that warped the Space Principles of Star Boundary, which would be too numerous to check through. After all, the whole High Heaven Palace had powerful Restricted Areas that he could not so easily peer through.

Why would they make such powerful Restrictions? Because there were nine other Great Emperors besides him.

Out of curiosity, Yang Kai had even looked for his Mother, but she was apparently gone too. Naturally, his first assumption was that Little Senior Sister and Tao Ling Wan were with his Mother, and that any of the other Wives he could not immediately spot would be with her.

The same could be said for his Little Sister, Yang Xue, who he too could not sense. Yang Xue was also an option, but she too mostly listens to her Sister-in-Laws and her Mother…

Despite all the rest being hidden, Yu Ru Meng’s and Shan Qing Luo’s positions were painfully obvious. They were moving around, shopping. It was as though they were telling him, ‘hey, we are here.’

As for Su Yan, though he could sense traces of her from time to time, since she was the one who seemed to be the most enraged by this whole affair, Yang Kai believes it would be wise to avoid meeting her directly for the time being.

[If I drag this on for longer, it’ll only get worse. At least Yu Ru Meng and Shan Qing Luo brought Yang Ai and Yang Mei along… surely they would be more forgiving when in front of our Daugthers…] Yang Kai sighed. The easy path had been blocked for him. It was obvious the Wives had agreed that he would meet with the two toughest ones first.

Adjusting his clothes one last time, and checking his Space Ring to ensure all the ‘offerings’ were in order, he disappeared from the site.

Yang Kai had transported himself to one of the busiest streets in High Heaven Star City.

The next scene in front of Yang Kai’s eyes was two country-ending women playfully smiling as though they had expected him. Even if they had not mentioned a word, their eyes were saying, ‘finally, you are here!’

However, the sound he heard next was not from either of these two women, but from the two adorable girls beside them, holding onto their hands. “Pa Pa!?”

Yang Kai’s appearance had been quite subdued, since he had used his powers as a Great Emperor to transport himself here. Yet, that could not hide his overwhelming presence and face.

The moment onlookers heard the excited exclamations of the two little girls, they turned their heads for a second to see the Palace Master of High Heaven Palace, the hero who saved the world, the strongest expert in existence right in front of their eyes!

Immediately, some onlookers froze from shock, some knelt down in reverence, and some started to pray–maybe to hope that their descendants could enter High Heaven Palace or they would receive his blessings.

Nevertheless, they all greeted, “We Greet Palace Master Yang!”

Such a shout inevitably drew even more attention, and crowds began to form. Even from the second floor windows, there were people who rushed over to stretch out their necks to catch a glimpse of him.

“En.” Yang Kai was already somewhat used to this at this point. But, he was like his Wives, and very much preferred to keep a low profile if possible. He just returned a nod at them and then quickly wrapped him, his Wives and children into an isolated Space, disappearing from the crowd.

“Pa Pa is so popular.” Seeing how everyone was looking at her Father, Yang Ai commented, which drew Shan Qing Luo to giggle, “He sure is. Your Father is the most popular man in the world.”

“En.” Yang Ai gave a nod, as she looked around, and noticed how everyone else had started to turn their heads to look around for them, “Why is everyone turning their heads, looking around? Can’t they see us anymore?”

“Silly girl. Of course not. Your Father made it so that they can no longer see us.” Shan Qing Luo moved forward and patted her head.

“Oh!” Yang Ai exclaimed as she raced to her Father and said, “Pa Pa is amazing.”

“Yes, yes, he is amazing. That’s why he has come here to help so many people.” Yu Ru Meng was the one who spoke this time, with a smirk.

“Woah.” Yang Ai seemed to be impressed, as her dazzling eyes turned towards Yang Kai.

“… Yeah, I’m here to help everyone.” Yang Kai could already feel an ominous foreboding. Yet, in front of his Little Princesses, how could he possibly refuse? [Damn it. So this was their trap!?]

“En, Yang Ai, Yang Mei, don’t you two find staying at Starry Sky Palace a bit boring? Don’t you want to have more friends?” Shan Qing Luo looked towards Yang Kai for a second and then towards the two children and asked.

“Erm… it does get a little lonely if Oldest Brother and Oldest Sister are gone. Brother Yang Hao also always focuses on cultivating, and doesn’t play with us anymore. Yang Ni and Yang Yue are too small to play… so it is mostly us five.” Yang Mei said in a soft voice, a little sad.

Even if they were Silbings, there was a huge gap between them and Yang Ji and Yang Xu, so the Twins typically did not bring them along when going out for fun adventures. At most, they would play in Starry Sky Palace, but they would not leave its confines. Yet, the Twins would sometimes go off for a day or more, and only return to tell the rest of their adventures.

It had to be said that out of all the children, only Yang Ji, Yang Xu, Yang Hao were old enough to leave Starry Sky Palace without needing their parents to accompany them. Yang Ling, Yang Zhi Rao were old enough to leave Starry Sky Palace with Yang Ji and Yang Xu accompanying them.

As for the rest, they were still under six years old, so adult supervision was a must.

“En… we are still too weak to play with them…” Yang Ai said dejectedly.

At this point, all three Parents could not help but sigh. Though it was great to have talented children, Yang Ji and Yang Xu were truly too exceptional. They had cast a shadow in everyone else’s hearts. That was why Yang Hao, the third oldest, had been so diligent in cultivating that it had become a borderline obsession.

None of the children were untalented. In any Sect, they would be labelled as cream of the crop. It was just that if they compared themselves to Yang Ji and Yang Xu, the gulf between them was truly too disheartening. After all, even adults would have their Dao Hearts shaken upon finding out about the Twins’ cultivation progress, what more these innocent children who did not have an accurate gauge of what was normal.

Despite this, it was not like they could hinder Yang Ji and Yang Xu’s cultivation. It would be unfair to them.

Yu Ru Meng gave a forced smile this time, quite rare for her, and said, “That’s why, we are going to make a place where you can get a ton of friends. So, even if your Brothers and Sisters are busy, you will still be able to play with others.”

“But Mom, I don’t want to play with other people…” Yang Mei said, a little uncomfortable with the idea of playing with strangers.

“Not to worry. Your Father will be there to take care of you.” Yu Ru Meng’s eyes turned sharp as she turned to Yang Kai, “Dear, can you please take down this barrier so that I can announce something?”

From what had been said, Yang Kai could already guess what was coming. However, could he refuse at this point? As a Father, could refuse her in front of his two Daughters?

“Fine…” Yang Kai said as he just awaited her next words.

The isolated space that protected them from all the others slowly disappeared, showing Yang Kai again.

Naturally, the onlookers were kept safe. Even if they were close to the distorted Space, no harm would come to them as Space distorted back to normal.

Having the Space around them change like this naturally bewildered many. Even if one knew that Yang Kai had manipulated Space Principles, they would find the sensation shocking. Yet, before they could grasp their bearing, an explosive news ran out.

Yu Ru Meng, as if waiting for this, stepped forward, “On the orders of all Palace Mistresses of High Heaven Palace, High Heaven Palace will now be establishing the High Heaven Academy! Children above 2 years old but under the age of 15 can enroll, and have a chance to be taught by the Teacher and Principal, the Palace Master!”

At this point, there was so much Yang Kai wanted to say. However, the words ‘orders of all Palace Mistresses’ meant that this had already been decided upon, and there was basically nothing he could do about it…

[Well, at least it is not that bad.] Yang Kai comforted himself. Though, what chaos he would face would need to be seen.
