My Youth Began With Him

“Hello, Mrs. Chairman. I’m Liao Muchen.”

The boy’s self-introduction brought Huo Mian back to reality.

“Are you the artist from the company?”

“Yes, ma’am.”

“Okay, then feel free to walk around. I’m bringing something to Pudding.”

“Alright, take care.”

Liao Muchen nodded respectfully and sent Huo Mian off.

It was just a small brush…

However, Huo Mian’s mind was in a complete mess…

She had a feeling that he was someone she was very familiar with.

But looking at his age, he was only in his twenties. Indeed, he did not look like her friend.

But what had she forgotten?

Huo Mian began to feel distracted by the intense feeling…

In the dressing room.

Only Pudding and Little Bean were left.

“Sis, is something bothering you?”

Little Bean noticed that Pudding was a little distracted and asked.

Pudding bit her lip and didn’t answer.

“Do you miss Wei Yunchu again?”

“Don’t try to be smart reading my mind, okay?” Pudding was a little annoyed that someone had seen through her.

“Sis, stop pretending. Don’t forget that we’re twins and have telepathy. If you’re upset, I’ll be worried too… It’s almost 11 pm… There’s still no news from Wei Yunchu at this time, he probably won’t be returning. I’ve asked Boyuan and Auntie Xiaowei, but they haven’t received any news…”

“I wasn’t hoping for his return. You’re thinking too much.”

Just then, Huo Mian pushed open the door and walked in.

“Come, put on the jade pendant.”

Huo Mian took out two jade pendants and handed them to the twins.

“Pudding, I just saw someone,” Huo Mian said.

Pudding looked up at her mother, knowing that she had more to say.

“He said he’s an artist under your company. He’s called something Chen…”

“Liao Muchen?” Pudding was surprised.

Little Bean’s expression turned even uglier…

“Yeah, I feel like he looks really familiar… He looks like someone I know, but I just can’t remember who he is. Do you guys have any impression of him? Think about it, do I have any friends who look a little like him?” Huo Mian tilted her head and tried to recall.

Pudding and Little Bean looked at each other with complicated expressions.

Little Bean put on the jade pendant in a panic, stood up, and held onto Huo Mian’s arm.

“Mom, you’re thinking too much. Other than being a little handsome, that kid doesn’t have any special features… His personality is too exaggerated… You shouldn’t get too close to him.”

“He seems like a polite kid.” Huo Mian even spoke up for the kid when she heard her daughter belittle him.

“Mom, he just has a celebrity face. You might have seen him on television, so you have some impression of him.”

“No, I don’t think it’s that simple…” Huo Mian denied.

She felt that what Pudding and Little Bean said was wrong. Things were definitely not that simple.

Because all these years, her sixth sense had always been very accurate.

When she saw that kid, just like last time, her sixth sense started to shake violently.

This was definitely not as simple as seeing a familiar face on television.

Huo Mian suddenly had a scary thought…

Could it be that everyone was hiding something from her?

Or rather, Pudding knew, Little Bean knew, and so did her husband. Only she didn’t know?

This thought was quite scary…

Huo Mian thought that the person she loved the most wouldn’t lie to her, especially Qin Chu.

“Mom… Have you not been resting well recently? It must be too stressful to organize a coming-of-age ceremony for us. After it’s over, ask Auntie Xiaowei to prescribe some medicine for you to recover..” Little Bean purposely deviated from the main topic.
