My Youth Began With Him

Seeing Su Yu was serious, Han Yueyao didn’t dare to lie to him and told him the whole thing.

“Oh, okay.” Su Yu only said two words expressionlessly.

“President Su, I’m fine. I’m still a new performer and don’t want to bring trouble to the company or draw haters to myself.”

“Come on, eat the apple.”

Su Yu didn’t continue the topic; he just handed her the peeled apple.

Han Yueyao took it and had a small bite. She sneaked a glance at Su Yu and found he was very handsome from this angle, especially when he looked thoughtful and unsmiling.

He picked up a tissue to wipe the knife and Han Yueyao could see clearly his long eyelashes when he lowered his head.

She thought it was unfair for a man to have such beautiful eyelashes.

“What are you staring at?” Su Yu looked up suddenly and met her eyes.

“Ahem… I wanted to ask what perfume you use. It smells good.”

She scrambled to find an excuse. After all, she couldn’t tell him that she stared at him because he was handsome, right?

“Eau Fraiche.”

“Huh? The famous Versace Eau Fraiche? It truly smells good… I’m surprised that a guy as rich as you would use such an inexpensive perfume. I thought you’d use the Italian hand-made pure herbal perfume; the kind that costs tens of thousands of yuan per milliliter.”

“I’m rich but I’m not a sucker. I don’t buy things just because they are expensive. You must remember it.”

Su Yu was exasperated that the girl thought he was a rich guy with a vulgar taste.

“Haha. I didn’t mean that. I just feel that…you’re quite low-keyed in fashion sense. Compared to the luxurious big brands, Versace isn’t very expensive, but you seem to love this brand. I saw many of your clothes are this brand.”

“Yeah, even my belts,” Su Yu admitted frankly.

“But why? Do you endorse this brand in Asia?”

Su Yu: “…”

“Are you kidding, Han Yueyao?”

“I’m serious.”

“I don’t endorse it,” Su Yu answered her earnestly.

“Do you have a story with it?” Han Yueyao was curious.

Everyone close to him knew he liked Versace; even the twins bought belts of this brand for him.

As Tang Chuan once said, Mr. Su was the No. 1 hardcore fan of Versace.

“There’s no stories. It might be that… I like Medusa,” Su Yu shrugged.

Han Yueyao was speechless.

Medusa from Greek mythology was Versace’s classical logo.

“Okay. I can only say your taste is unusual.” Han Yueyao chuckled.

“Stay here until your foot recovers. If it doesn’t get well in a few days, I’ll cancel your live show in the next week.”

“No.”

“No? Do you want to become crippled?”

“No, but I don’t want to give up the contest.”

“It happened all of a sudden and the show and the audience will understand the situation,” Su Yu persuaded her patiently.

“I don’t like to be a quitter.”

“You’re as stubborn as a mule.” Resigned, Su Yu commented.

“Compared with you, I’m not stubborn at all. You’re the most stubborn mule in the whole world.” Cocking her head, she retorted indignantly.

“I’m stubborn?” Su Yu looked at her in amusement.
