My Youth Began With Him

“Huo Siqian, you are crossing the line…” Huo Mian was at the end of her patience.

Smiling, Huo Siqian didn’t pursue the topic.

“Tonight, the moon is very beautiful, right?”

He looked up and saw the moon in the high sky emitting misty light.

“Don’t go romantic on me… Whatever you say is meaningless to me. At this moment, you’re only a kidnapper and I’m your hostage,” unfazed, Huo Mian said.

“Tsk… You’re not romantic. My Sister Mian, why do you look gentle and cute like a kitten with Qin Chu but change into a small tiger before me?”

“Because I’ve always disliked you, and I’ll always dislike you.”

“Very good; it’s an honor to be disliked by you all your life…”

“Huo Siqian, do you know what a pervert you are?” Huo Mian asked suddenly.

“I don’t think I am one.”

“Do you know the existence of the guy named Jack?”

Hearing Jack’s name, Huo Siqian’s expression changed a bit.

“Mian, you know a lot of things.” He had a faint smile on his face.

“Of course. I saw Jack twice with my own eyes.” Huo Mian looked at him seriously.

“What then? Jack only comes out when I forget to take medicine; that idiot and madman can’t control me.” Huo Siqian commented about the other side of himself.

“Do you think Jack and you are two people sharing one body?”

“Of course. What else do you think?”

“Don’t you think Jack doesn’t exist at all, and it was all nothing but your imagination? He is just another side of you.”

“Nonsense. He’s not me; I’m not that stupid and reckless.” Huo Siqian obviously didn’t like his other personality.

“By denying the other side of you, you’re denying yourself. Huo Siqian, look at you. You’re thirty years old but what a total failure you have become. You can’t even look at yourself.” Huo Mian scorned him.

“You’re using psychological tactics and taunting me? No, Mian, don’t play these tricks with me. They are useless. I’ve known you for years; your wits, your wisdom, your indifference, and your coolness have no effects on me,” Huo Siqian said with a smile.

Huo Mian looked calm but felt cold inside.

She had to admit that Huo Siqian was mad; he was a madman with a high EQ.

He knew her so well that he didn’t lose composure and show weaknesses when she taunted him.

She suddenly realized that it wouldn’t be easy for her to get away from Huo Siqian’s evil control without a scratch.

Her only hope was that Qin Chu could find her and rescue her and the baby in her belly as soon as possible.

“It’s windy on the top of the mountain. I’ll go and get you a coat.” Huo Siqian went back to the car to get a coat.

Meanwhile, Huo Mian looked around and tried to find an escape route or a weapon she could use.

Suddenly, her eyes rested on the knife and fork for the steak; they were made of steel and looked very sharp.

She held the knife in her palm carefully and waited tensely.

Then, Huo Siqian walked over with a black cashmere coat; it was a man’s coat.

He draped it around her shoulders.

However, his considerate act didn’t touch Huo Mian; instead, she held the knife against his throat.

“Mian, don’t do this… It’s no fun.” Huo Siqian still smiled coolly and didn’t show any fear.
