My Youth Began With Him

“What’s the order, Director Gao.”

“It’s not an order, just my personal opinion. As you know, Qin Chu is my best friend so I will try to think of ways to help him. I think you guys can team up to go against Huo Siqian.”

“Me and Qin Chu?” Shen Mingxi said with slight amazement.

“Yeah.”

“I don’t think President Qin would need me…” Shen Mingxi knew that Qin Chu was a strong but arrogant person that did not seek external help.

“Are you stupid? You don’t need to tell him. You can secretly help. An enemy’s enemy is your friend,” Gao Ran said.

“Yeah. There’s no way I can let Huo Siqian off the hook this time. Director Gao, what about Yanyan here…”

“We can’t let Huo Yanyan go. We’re going to observe her condition here for now but we might send her to neurology later on. If she continues to be like that, she’ll make a fool of herself outside. You know too that she doesn’t have family or a guardian so she won’t be able to take care of herself or her child.”

“The child is with me. I’ll take care of her.”

“Okay.”

Shen Mingxi was still unable to control his anger after leaving the Municipal Public Security Bureau. The more he thought about it, the more he wanted to go and find Huo Siqian.

It was already midnight. Instead of going back to the hospital, he went straight to the Huo Residence.

“Huo Siqian, you bastard. Come out right now!” Shen Mingxi demanded at the gates of the Huo Residence.

“President Shen, sorry but the boss is resting already. If you want to meet with him, please come again tomorrow.”

“You coward, stop hiding. If you’re a man, come out right now!”

Shen Mingxi was like an unchained beast whenever he recalled how Huo Yanyan looked now.

Even if he no longer loved her, he did not wish to see Huo Yanyan be schemed by a devil-like Huo Siqian. Worse, Huo Siqian and Huo Yanyan grew up together. Even if they didn’t get along, they were still family. They should be getting along better than strangers but how could he have the heart to torture her like this?

Shen Mingxi had shouted for a while and finally, Huo Siqian came out…

He was in a white robe with a glass of red wine in his hand. He looked very chill…

“President Shen, how can I entertain you in the middle of the night?”

“Huo Siqian, stop pretending. You know what you did to Huo Yanyan…”

“What do you mean? I don’t understand what you’re saying, President Shen. Are you sleepwalking?” Huo Siqian grinned.

“Huo Siqian, I believe in karma. You won’t even let go of a little child. What kind of beast are you?” Shen Mingxi screamed. Then he ran over and was going to punch Huo Siqian but Huo Siqian’s bodyguards blocked his attack. Then, the bodyguards put him to the ground.

Shen Mingxi had not fully recovered from the car accident so he was easily defeated.

“Tsk tsk… Look at you. You’re weaker than a woman right now. How can you have the courage to scream in front of me? Shen Mingxi, are you still a mommy’s boy sucking on your mommy’s titties?” Huo Siqian said. Then, he poured the glass of wine on Shen Mingxi.

“I’m going to f-ck your mom, Huo Siqian…” Shen Mingxi was a well-mannered person so it was the first time he swore. Huo Siqian had pushed him to the edge of lunacy.

“Oh my, I don’t have a mother. I only have a step-mother. If you’re interested in talking about that b*tch, I’m always down…” Huo Siqian was shameless and Shen Mingxi did not know how to react to this.

“You guys over there, go throw this mommy’s boy out. I need my rest.”

Then, Huo Siqian turned around and went upstairs.

Huo Siqian’s subordinates picked Shen Mingxi up and threw him onto the streets outside the residence.

Shen Mingxi was routed and all this was captured by some tabloid reporters…

He was on the news the next day…
