Chapter 2305: Fighting A Tier 4 Existence

...

The group was about to make their move when Shin’s instincts suddenly warned him of an approaching danger.

”GET DOWN!”

Shin’s shout immediately startled everyone, forcing them to react without hesitation.

Shing!

The moment everyone ducked and dropped toward the ground, a brilliant crimson light suddenly flashed across the area.

From his position high above the battlefield, Shin could clearly see a circular wave of energy appear for an instant before rapidly expanding outward.

It swept across everything in its path.

BOOM!

Everything caught within the expanding circle of energy was flattened almost instantly.

The remaining piles of rubble were obliterated, while the already-collapsed buildings were reduced to even finer debris.

Bang!

Everyone remained close to the ground when Donato suddenly kicked off the earth and launched himself into the sky.

Swoosh!

High above the battlefield, Donato raised his enormous battle axe over his head, gripping it with both hands as he poured his overwhelming mana into the weapon.

Whoosh!

The already massive blades suddenly expanded even further, transforming into a colossal axe that descended the moment Donato brought it crashing downward.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The air erupted beneath the crushing momentum of the attack.

Even the surrounding space began showing faint signs of distortion as the colossal axe descended toward the ground with overwhelming force.

Swoosh!

At the same time, Shin suddenly appeared directly beneath the descending attack.

He intended to face it head-on and buy enough time for everyone else to recover.

Whoosh!

He immediately released the Elemental Spirit Possession of the legendary sword in his left hand before dismissing the Abyssal Form of Mondi’s Style and returning the weapon to its original sheath form.

Click!

Shin then returned the [Yamato] in his right hand to its sheath while maintaining its Divine Constellation Possession.

Huu~!

He adjusted his breathing before assuming his signature sword-drawing stance and rapidly gathering a tremendous amount of mana within the sheathed blade.

Click!

A moment later, Shin’s thumb pushed the sword slightly out of its sheath, revealing a sliver of its blazing blade.

Shing!

Shin suddenly drew the sword completely and swung it forward, releasing all the power he had accumulated into a massive blazing crescent that shot toward the descending colossal axe.

Swoosh!

Bang!

The blazing crescent collided with the massive axe, producing a violent explosion.

However, the attack barely affected its momentum.

WHOOSH!

The colossal axe continued descending, crushing through the air as even the surrounding space warped beneath its terrifying force.

Yet Shin’s assault didn’t stop there.

He repeatedly returned the [Yamato] to its sheath before drawing it again, sending one blazing crescent after another into the sky to collide with the descending attack.

Shing! Shing! Shing!

Each blazing crescent was larger and stronger than the other, becoming more destructive in every release.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Each collision slightly slowed the descent of the colossal axe, continuously bleeding away its momentum.

Click!

Shin sheathed the [Yamato] once more. And this time, an even greater amount of mana gathered within the sheathed blade.

Shing!

He then drew the sword again.

An even larger blazing crescent erupted from the blade, its enormous size almost rivaling that of the descending axe itself.

’Jade Kirin Scripture: Quick Draw (Eternal Flame) – (Blazing) Crescent Finale’

Swoosh!

BOOOOOM!!!

The devastating explosion shook the entire battlefield, sending a blazing storm of mana surging in every direction and filling the sky.

WHOOSH!

However, not long after, the colossal axe emerged from the raging storm once again and continued its descent.

A huge portion of its momentum and power had already been exhausted, yet it remained terrifyingly strong as it crashed toward the battlefield below.

Fortunately, Shin’s previous efforts had already accomplished their purpose. He had bought enough time for everyone else to retreat.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

Even Owen, with his monstrous defensive capabilities, didn’t dare underestimate the descending attack and immediately chose to avoid facing it head-on.

BOOOOOOOM!!!!

The colossal axe finally struck the ground.

A massive explosion erupted as the earth was violently torn apart, leaving behind an enormous and incredibly deep canyon.

”Whew~!” Owen couldn’t help but whistle upon seeing the devastation left behind by the attack.

”So...” He gulped hard as he imagined what would have remained of him if he had dared to block that attack head-on. ”...This is how powerful a Tier 4 existence is, huh?”

Shin’s voice immediately rang throughout the battlefield. ”Don’t let him build up momentum for attacks like that again!”

Swoosh!

Immediately after issuing the warning, Shin flapped his wings and charged straight toward Donato.

His intention was obvious.

He would engage the Fortress Master in close combat and prevent him from accumulating enough momentum to unleash another attack of that magnitude.

Bang!

The [Yamato] clashed against Donato’s battle axe as the Fortress Master blocked the attack with seemingly little effort.

Shing! Shing! Shing!

Shin immediately followed with a relentless barrage, wielding both the [Yamato] and [Permafrost] while refusing to give Donato even a moment to gather momentum for another large-scale attack.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Shin naturally couldn’t contend with Donato in a direct clash due to the enormous gap in their Stats.

Instead, he relied on his movement techniques, intricate swordsmanship, and precise footwork to redirect or mitigate as much of the incoming force as possible while avoiding the deadliest attacks.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

While Shin engaged Donato in intense close combat, the others immediately joined the assault, synchronizing their attacks with his movements.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

BOOM!

The group swarmed Donato from every direction, launching one coordinated attack after another.

Because Shin was going all out and had taken the initiative to become the center of their offense, the pace of the battle increased dramatically.

The tempo quickly became too fast for Samael to follow.

He could only remain outside the immediate combat zone, maintaining a safe distance while carefully observing the battlefield and supporting everyone whenever an opening appeared.

Owen, Diablo, and Alucard, however, were already familiar with Shin’s combat style.

They were able to keep pace with his movements even at this terrifying speed and coordinate their strongest techniques with his attacks.

The twins, Felix and Felicia, faced considerably greater difficulty.

Both could be considered god-level experts given their respective abilities, but they had only recently begun fighting alongside Shin and the others.

Their lack of familiarity with the group’s combat patterns made it difficult for them to coordinate properly at such an extreme pace.

As a result, they temporarily withdrew from the main offensive and focused on supporting the others through their respective abilities.

Felicia, in particular, continued providing powerful buffs through her songs while carefully observing the flow of the battle.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

BOOM!

The battle escalated to an entirely different level, further destroying the already devastated surroundings.

The destructive power of their attacks also continued to increase with every passing second, especially as Donato gradually became more familiar with his newly acquired strength.

However, Donato was still occasionally affected by the strange urges that seemed to emerge from nowhere, threatening to cloud his judgment.

Fortunately, his powerful willpower and extensive combat experience allowed him to maintain control of himself while gradually mastering his new level of power.

”This can’t continue,” Shin muttered.

He could tell that allowing Donato to become more familiar with his new realm would only put them in an increasingly dangerous position.

”I guess it’s time to end this.” After making his decision, Shin issued a command. ”Owen... contain him!”

Swoosh!

Shin immediately disengaged from Donato, leaving Owen to take over.

Bang!

Owen charged forward and rammed directly into the Fortress Master before staying as close to him as possible.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

He repeatedly slammed the pair of tower shields attached to his arms into Donato, using them as battering rams while throwing powerful punches.

Crackle! Crackle!

As he continued his assault, the Thunderbird Divine Tattoo covering Owen’s body shone brightly, releasing violent arcs of lightning that further enhanced his speed and explosive power.

BOOM!

A moment later, a massive Golden Immortal manifested behind Owen, wielding a gigantic divine hammer in its hands.

Shriek!

At almost the same time, the cry of a divine bird echoed throughout the battlefield as the lightning elemental mana filling the surrounding air suddenly erupted into a violent storm.

BOOM!

The lightning storm wreaked havoc across the battlefield for several seconds before suddenly converging toward the Golden Immortal behind Owen and surging into the divine hammer it wielded.

Bang!

With one powerful push, Owen finally forced Donato two steps backward, creating just enough distance for him to prepare his ultimate attack.

Swoosh!

Owen quickly shifted the tower shield in his hand before swapping it for his mace.

Clank!

He stepped forward and hooked the head of the mace onto the handle of his remaining tower shield, transforming the two weapons into a massive makeshift hammer.

With the Golden Immortal towering behind him, Owen raised the enormous weapon before bringing it crashing down upon Donato with all his strength.

BOOOOOOM!
