Endless Winter: My Camp Upgrades Infinitely

Chapter 1711: Chapter 541: The Surprising Xia Yuyao, Weng City and Forbidden Airspace_3

The three rear armies had already arrived.

Yuwen Dao’s Right Route Army did not leave a single person at Aikou; nearly forty thousand troops have all arrived; Yuan Cheng’s rear army has a total of fifty thousand; Luo Yuan’s Central Army originally had forty thousand, but along the way, they were joined by ten thousand brought by Li Yangtian from Dragon Valley City, so they have fifty thousand.

Altogether, the three armies total one hundred and forty thousand.

These are not just one hundred and forty thousand ordinary people, but one hundred and forty thousand genuine Cold Resistance Level warriors, and every one of them is fully armed, their spirit soaring.

At Xia Hong’s command, the three main commanders immediately divided their forces into four routes, surrounding Jinyang City so completely that no water could seep through, and Yuan Cheng, responsible for the southern section, directly led part of the elite troops from the rear army to launch a charge against the enemy outside the South Gate.

Indeed, although the South Gate has already been breached, the coalition has not yet fully entered the city; a good half still remains outside the gate.

Yuan Cheng’s wave of leading a charge was like a hungry wolf entering a sheep pen. That half of the coalition’s soldiers hardly resisted; they didn’t even think to fight back, each one madly rushing towards the gate as if entering the city was their only hope for survival.

The South City Gate is just over twenty meters wide, accommodating at most dozens of soldiers entering simultaneously, while outside, the coalition has a full twenty thousand troops. One can imagine how crowded it must be with so many rushing toward the gate.

“Let me in, let me in, the Xia Army has attacked!”

“We can only survive by entering the city, hurry and get in!”

“Let me in quickly, let me in quickly…”

………

Roars, cries and screams instantly filled the entire South Gate area, with coalition soldiers bunched up in chaos. Before Yuan Cheng’s troops even slaughtered their way through, they had already trampled and injured countless themselves.

The dire situation was that those crowded in the gate area showed no sign of moving forward; they seemed to be stuck there.

Such a situation usually indicates one of two things: either the gate area has been completely clogged, unable to move forward or retreat; or there are too many people inside the South Gate, with not enough space to accommodate more, so no matter what, those outside cannot get in.

It was unclear which scenario it was!

However, the answer soon came.

Several beams of strong light suddenly ascended from within the city, as a Caiqiu’s Xianyang Level warrior flew swiftly out towards the South Gate, his face full of panic and terror.

“This Jinyang is a city within a city. The outer South Gate is a small gate; upon breaking the South Gate, inside there is a pot city, and beyond the pot city is the real city gate. The Xia Army just used something to block it. We were deceived. Run, run, we haven’t really broken into the city…”

Pot city?

What’s a pot city?

Soldiers hearing these words for the first time were instantly bewildered.

The people of Cai Qiu were equally confused.

In reality, even the Cai Qiu person uttering the words pot city only knew it from hearing the Xia Army say it inside.

“Qiuyang, lead the retreat…”

“Retreat now if you wish, it’s too late…”

Cai Qianshan’s voice was abruptly cut off by Xia Hong’s grim shout.

“All forces, hear my command: lock down the skies above Jinyang, leave all the Caiqiu Xianyang Level warriors inside for me.”

“At your command!”

At Xia Hong’s command, the army surrounding the other three sides of Jinyang, as well as Yuan Cheng’s troops charging towards the South Gate, immediately responded with angry roars.

They unanimously took out a tawny Elixir Pill and swallowed it down, after which a heavy aura burst out from all the soldiers.

Buzz……
